Hello ladies, sorry it's been a whileBlush

I've been busy with life, too much stuff to be done and so little time. Still that'll get easier now I've started my 2nd jobsHmm, which is driving me absolutely mad. The person I've taken over from is, erm, how can I put it politely, erm, disorganised. It should be such a simple job but evrything takes FOREVER Angry but once it's up and running it should all be fine. I hope.

DD and ds are doing well. dd's latest major event is a wobbly tooth, she's so excited Grin

ds now goes to pre-school everyday, an enforced decision really so that I can work and childcare costs are much lower. It's only 3 hours a day and he loves it so i'm trying not to feel too guilty.

I have to apply for his school too, although not until mid November. I may well only put one school down as he should be fine as a sibling, plus we live in the village so I can't see him not getting in

Doobydoo · 15/09/2010 20:18

StealthPolarBear · 15/09/2010 22:41

Hi everyone
Didn't know about moving plans SOL, what are these?
Yes, applying for T's place this week, we have 3 schools but the one we want has "children in the parish" as top of the criteria (after LA children) so should be OK...I hope. 2nd choice also good, 3rd choice a nice school but infants only

Doobydoo · 16/09/2010 07:25

Thought I read OOOggs say sol was movingConfused

Bramshott · 16/09/2010 09:23

It was me that said SOL was moving - I read it on another thread [stalker emoticon needed!]. To do with school catchment I think, but we need to know moooorrre! Wink

M is very sensible Dooby - he should be in charge of government education policy.

How is DS1 getting on at big school? And how are you feeling now - do I remember correctly that you were having some dizzyness problems?

Doobydoo · 16/09/2010 12:46

DS1 is up and down with school. He likes it when there but is hideous child in the morning!

Ds1 finished homework, science and weird maths that I have no clue aboutConfused
Am cooking grub.

oooggs · 19/09/2010 19:00

I am worried about that dooby - when they asked for homework help and I won't have a clue Shock

Northernlurker · 19/09/2010 19:10

By a strange coicidence dd1 was doing her maths homework today and it is totally beyond me. She's only in year 8 and I have my maths GCSE - I should be able to do it! Thankfully dh was in and worked through it in parallel with her so she still did it but with support iyswim. It was horrible - still as eased my worries bout school not strectching her enough!

Oh yes and hi to everyone.Grin B is very cute - some American visitors at our church today called her a English rose Grin
