Completely off topic, but if any of you are watching that Mary, Queen of Shops at the moment that's where I leave - Raynes Park!!!!

anniebigpants · 07/06/2010 21:19

Just added couple of new pics of E if anyone interested.

hendo77 · 07/06/2010 21:22

madmissy · 07/06/2010 21:37

hendo77 · 07/06/2010 21:46

Just had a peek - they're lovely pictures!

AlCrowley · 07/06/2010 21:48

I'm still having problems with this thread (photo's on facebook fine for once! ) I think it's because it's getting so long now. We're over 800 posts. I guess we should start thinking of a new title for the next thread...

What number are we up to now?

madmissy · 07/06/2010 21:49

thanyou

anniebigpants · 07/06/2010 21:52

Lovely pics madmissy

Thanks hendo and Al-hes a pleasure, such a happy little chap

AlCrowley · 07/06/2010 22:03

While we're doing pictures...I've added the photo's of Alex and Catherine at the same age in the same suit. They look so different and yet so obviously related

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 07/06/2010 22:09

Hendo, i watched it...that woan was a bloody nut job! i love mary portas.

Finally got high chair!!! Yipppeeee! got it up in kitchen, DH only brought it back about half an hour since!!!

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 07/06/2010 22:10

woman...WTF is a woan?!

anniebigpants · 07/06/2010 22:24

Al-Wow, they look identical! Lovely photos.

hendo77 · 07/06/2010 22:47

Al - that is sooo cute and Annie is right, they look identical!

Ethelred - woohoo on the highchair, although dh says Imogen looks like a dr who baddie in ours as we have a ridiculously big one and she's still small!!!

Al we're up to 814 messages now... but we'll soon be needing a new thread at this rate! I did think of something the other day, but can't remember it. Something to do with learning to sit/roll/eat/teeth/sleep... hmmm not sure that's very helpful actually!!!

Klerka · 07/06/2010 23:14

Al - Such a cute photo! It's great that you recreated the photo from your DS. They are so obviously related but he looks all boy and Catherine a proper little girl!

Annie - Gorgeous! I think you mentioned before about him in the bath on his tummy - might try DD like that tomorrow as she constantly turns her head in the bath to drink the water and commando crawling? sounds very impressive. I keep looking around the lounge as to what is going to have to be removed once she's mobile...

MadMissy - beautiful photos too! Aren't all our LO's just amazing. Do you think you can kiss them too much?

I will she how Holly sleeps tonight as she's eaten more solids today than ever before. I need to put her in her cot tomorrow for naps to get her used to it. She is going to be too big for her moses basket before I know it and I want it to be a smooth a transition as possible moving from our room to hers. Can't believe she'll be 6 months on Wednesday.

AlCrowley · 08/06/2010 10:30

Thanks everyone. We've been going through the photos trying to find another one to recreate. It's fun to look back and see how similar they are.

Will get thinking and try to come up with another title. It's harder to be whitty now we're getting less sleep

Just bought Catherine one of those Sophie la Giraffe toys. Got it out of the box and realised that 'natural rubber' smells just like condoms!! It's making me feel a bit sick.

hendo77 · 08/06/2010 10:36

ok first attempt... "we're learning to roll, we're learning to eat, all we need now is to learn to sleep!". I'm sure someone can come up with something better though!!!

I rue wishing Imogen could roll onto her front - now she's rolling around and wriggling left right and centre and I feel like I can't leave her downstairs to go up to the loo any more!!! This morning we found her on her front, completely different place in her cotbed to where she was put, talking to the speakers! Loony toons...

hendo77 · 08/06/2010 10:37

sry actually meant "to learn HOW to sleep"

LaDiDaDi · 08/06/2010 12:58

I love it hendo!

LOvely pics from everyone, I will have to put some up soon.

We have speakers as when Imogen was a bit younger we could only settle her with white noise and we got bored of standing there with the hairdryer (or hoovering her room!) so I downloaded a white noise CD and stole dh's travel speakers and she sleeps to a dishwasher track playing repeatedly. I keep thinking I should stop using it now but am too scared to try without!

We also have no routine, which although I stressed about this for ages in the beginning is now working really well as I can sort of fit her around whatever I want to do more or less. Bedtime routine is play in bedroom for a bit, bath (every other night usually), grobag, story, boob then bed. Dh when home does it all up to boob obviously! Depending on her tiredness she's usually in bed between 6.30 and 7.30 and asleep by 8.30 (after lots of flipping back over!).

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 08/06/2010 13:46

Loving the photos! They are all such little cuties!

Have added a couple more of anna, including one i took this morning of her in the new highchair!!

Better go and make some lunch before she wakes up.

AlCrowley · 08/06/2010 13:56

LOL Lee, you make it sound like I planned it

I put the suit on Catherine then went looking for photos to show Alex how he'd worn it once. When we realised the ages were almost identical, we decided to do a recreation.

Will try to do some more while the clothes are still quite unisex. As the hand-me-downs get more boy-ish, it won't be so easy.

Loving all the photos. We've got some very beautiful children between us.

hendo77 · 09/06/2010 08:34

Happy half birthday this month to everybody! Imogen was exactly 6 months yesterday. Now she can roll every morning it is hilarious to find her in a completely new position in her cotbed. This morning she had turned 180 degrees, had her feet right at the other end of her cotbed up against the railings and was on her front watching the door grinning at us as we came in to wake her up (obviously not realising she was clearly already awake and playing by herself!!!). She did however have one hand on the top of the bar and had her feet up there resting on it the the other day too so I think we might lower the mattress tonight as I'm paranoid she'll pull herself over (although very unlikely I imagine just yet!).

Hope everyone is well, shame the sunshine has gone here, but on the otherhand we've had much later wake ups so always a silver lining!!!

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 09/06/2010 09:08

Morning all.

Can't believe that all our LOs are 6 months old. How did that happen?!
Hendo, Anna is just the same with the cot and I have said to DH that i think we need to lower the mattress. Apparently both DH and I, when we were babies, were really bad for pulling oursleves out of our cots and onto the floor, so think it's fairly likley anna will try the same...eeeek!

Started the BLW in earnest yesterday. She had avocado, cucumber and grated cheese for lunch and then chicken strips, baked sweet potato, broccoli and green beans. judging by this morning's nappy, she had eaten some of it!! although judging purely from the mess on the floor, you wouldn't have thought so!
