DS going to bed been delayed... so i'm back (having done a bit more work in the meantime!)

Wasn't meaning to sound horrible - we do want to know all about the scan and how your little one is but I am a tad impatient when pregnant

An old friend is stranded there with is family until the ash cloud moves. They are staying with his wife's folks so it's not terrible. Just thought I'd see if any of my friends here were close enough to say hi. Makes me feel good to know people all over the world.

ah VG how shit - remember though during my childcare dilema I thought it was all going horribly wrong but it worked out fine in the end as I'm sure it will for you too - all very unsettling though

VG - just saw your childcare had gone wrong - I hope you manage to get something sorted soon. You obviously made the right decision for you and your family but it is a bummer trying to find a replacement.
