Sept 08: last year they were cute little bundles that smelt of milk and vanilla, but now they've been replaced with a babyzilla!

A new thread for us as the last one was running low.

debs Sorry to hear about all the snot You are right, it is exhausting looking for a house and trying to keep your own super tidy for veiwings but am loads happier now we have finally decided and know what we are doing...ringing round to get quotes for all the work now!

Meglet · 26/04/2010 13:16

hurray! We have canine teeth finally breaking through! DD has been grizzly for a few days and I finally got to peek in her mouth and I could see the little 'spikes' coming through. Better stock up on calpol later today I think .

debs My garden might have a small veg patch but the rest of it needs a good mow & strim , loads of dandelions but the g-pig loves them so I leave them for her.

Debs75 · 26/04/2010 13:49

Meglet DP joked maybe we should get a goat to try and tame our garden, I think a guinea pig is a safer bet.

hopefully I know how you feel. AF arrived today (a day late, so I stupidly allowed myself to think I could be pg) so we're now into month 4 of ttc and I feel pretty wretched about it.

bec glad you've decided what to do!

Garden...well ours contains only gravel as the old lady who lived here before couldn't cope with the garden, so there's a patio, a path, and gravel where there should be grass! We're not green fingered at all, so are glad not to have to worry about borders and shrubs and things, but it would be nice to at least have a lawn! No point in doing anything about it til the extension is built though, we're not paying for turf only to have it trashed by the builders.

Come on please someone imaginative come up with a thread title?!!!

Sept 08: How do we like our eggs in the morning? Fertilised, or completely and most definitely unfertilised?

How about the above for a title? It's a nod to those ttc and those who are saying 'no way, never again'.

If anyone thinks it's in bad taste then we won't use it. I don't think it is (otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it), but then I'm not the one ttc at the mo.

ILTMIMI I like the title. A vote from me.

Haha! I'm fine with it!

So bit of an anti-climax today. Had a scan but that's it, no further tests for now. Scan gave me the all clear but she did say my ovaries looked polcystic which could explain the long irregular cycles. But seeing as I've conceived twice in the past 6 months I'm clearly ovulating so pcos is unlikely.

The good news is that I can call them directly next time I get pregnant and they'll book me in for a scan at 6 weeks. I won't have to go through my gp either, which cuts unnecessary faff.

DS has been such a star this weekend. He happily pottered about while I did some gardening and dh cleared out the loft. Beds are now 60% weeded. Is it too late to plant veggie seedlings? Don't think I have time to cultivate from seed but would still like to grow a few things.

becaroo · 27/04/2010 09:29

ILTMIMI Like it!
