miamla · 03/10/2009 19:36

i'll fb you my phone number in case you do want to talk

cyteen · 03/10/2009 19:46

oops we're all hanging in there with you Go to A&E if you feel you need to, and let DP sort his own head out if that's how it is.

oopsacoconut · 03/10/2009 19:56

Hi All Thanks for your kind words.

VG - I am 6+4. So it is still VERY early. But an unsympathetic midwife really compounded my bad feelings.

I have already been to the hospital today with an asthma attack so it has just capped off an already crap day.

Back later for some more chirpy chat.
Am off to eat dinner - DH has made steak and kidney pie.

Yes, please try and stay positive (as I'm sure you are doing) Get that pie down you and put your feet up girl. Vent to us if you need to, you know I we love a good rant

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 03/10/2009 21:06

Just trying out my Halloween name

sequinedsteaknife · 03/10/2009 21:08

very nice, but don't leave any wolfhair on the sofas please.

dizzydixies · 03/10/2009 21:23

oops have texted you - please don't feel you need to reply

RedLentil · 03/10/2009 22:01

Also oops, don't be chirpy with us when you are feeling low. We are proper friends and will put up with all kinds of wailing and gnashing.

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 03/10/2009 22:21

Yes, that too

Sorry Red, just stopping in on my way back from the Slaughtered Lamb. How are you feeling now, any better?

sequinedsteaknife · 03/10/2009 22:23

The slaughtered lamb? pub or dinner oh fanged one?

RedLentil · 03/10/2009 22:27

When you wrote 'Get that pie down you' I thought you were channelling my very Wigan DH ...

Snurk at slaughtered lamb

I am feeling a lot better today thanks. And I've managed to eat the very lovely Thai noodle soup that DH made for dinner too.

DD2 has been hilarious all day, following me around shouting 'mammeeee' and trying on everyone's shoes.

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 03/10/2009 22:33

steak here

Red my best friend recently had a close encounter with John Landis (not that kind). She was so awestruck that she couldn't say a word to him!

sequinedsteaknife · 03/10/2009 22:38

oh dear I am not one for horrorish films so any such cultural refs pass me by.

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 03/10/2009 22:44

These days I'm wetter than a haddock's overcoat but American Werewolf In London is a classic in any genre

I can't abide all that torture porn business that seems so popular these days (god, even Timmy Time gets a bit much for me sometimes) but a good old fashioned monster movie still rings my bell.

StrictlySazz · 03/10/2009 22:50

Just popping on to wish oops all the sticking power in the world. I really really hope it is just one of those things and babe stays put for you.

Take care lovely lady
xxxx

sequinedsteaknife · 03/10/2009 23:12

My favourite horror movie closely followed by Shaun of the Dead.

iwascyteenagewerewolf · 03/10/2009 23:21

Heh, Bad Taste is pretty fun. And I love Shaun of the Dead have crush on Simon Pegg.

TwilightSurfer · 04/10/2009 02:10

Oops did you say recently that your thyroid medication dosage changed? I'm only asking to help you when and if discussions with a medical professional take place. Also, did you take something for your asthma attack. Those medications thin airways. Could that have caused some thinning of your cervix lining? Was your asthma attack cause by something specific or did you suddenly feel unwell? Mind you this question has a two-sidedness...follow me....could a hormone shift have caused your attack....sort of prelude to the bleed. I've not been following you here but I've watched your FB posts and it all sounded spot on for excellent pregnancy health (in my non-certified book). The bottom line, I'm very worried for you and your bean. I will be sending positive vibes your way from this moment forward. If you need ANYTHING I am a click away. My cell number is on my FB page; feel free to use it to call or text at any hour. I like that Miamla is experienced in bleeds during pregnancy. Captain is too. I think we had at least one or two more so try to find comfort in the fact that bleeding (even very heavy bleeding) can be a normal part of a healthy pregnancy. ((((HuGS))))

I tried desperately to catch up but only made it through Friday morning posts. Lordy, you lot can chat. LOL!

I am beyond tired and must go to bed. I fear Reese may be ill again. At the ball game today she broke out in what we thought was a heat rash. It's mostly gone now but since 3pm she's had a low grade fever. I've dosed her with Tylenol twice since then. Hopefully this is nothing or at least a quick something.

Pilates was a butt kicker this morning. The instructor (the ideal older female if ever there were one) has just returned from a pilates retreat and enlightened us all with some new things she learned. OUCH! I have pilates again in the morning but with a different instructor. YAY! This is just week one of six. I will survive and be stronger for it!!!

Must go and swap a laundry load. Hopefully I can stay up to date now. Will check for Oops to post again and pray it's wonderful news.

Good night.

Morning all

DD slept well last night which helped, DH settled her at 11 so I could sleep but I sat and listened to them it took her a while to settle but now I know he can do it. The bleed has stopped being red and is just a little brown now which is good. I have fab backache but otherwise am fine. Thank you all for your texts and messages, sorry I didn't get back to anyone I was in bed asleep by 9.

TS - asthma attack was caused by the fabbo cold DD gave me and I am on steroids which are okay in pregnancy and are normally given for recurrent miscarriage too. I was told that my thyroid condition makes miscariage more likely but as I am reasonably stable the risks are minimal.

Cyteen - Loving the name but avoiding the links as I can't do horror films as they stick in my brain and I can't sleep for weeks.

Back later - I have a stinker!

sequinedsteaknife · 04/10/2009 07:18

morning oops you sound more positive, which is good.

Good sleeps from my Little Miss too. I heard her stirring and thought5 is would be our usual 5 am feed and hour of grumbling till she slept again, but it was in fact 7 am. Yay.
So she is up and I am enjoying the joys of wifi and mning in bed. [cosy]

dizzydixies · 04/10/2009 07:44

morning all, is it too early to be at my wits end already?
