cyteen · 02/10/2009 21:00

Haven't booked yet cece but am going to...we need to sort out return times first!

Am still rofling at Bonto btw DP is grilling us some rib eye steak right now, and yes, the bottle has been well and truly cracked. I've run twice and yoga'd once already this week so feel I've earned it

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 21:00

Sorry red, missed you there in my inane flurry of postings . Glad to hear you are improving slowly. Why the new potatoes though? I always crave chicken soup when i am ill. Has to be homemade of course

dizz i will get him to set up a selection of menus and we can choose

cece i actually have my tickets in my possession so you lot had better turn up

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 21:01

cyteen · 02/10/2009 21:02

Yes Red I too am v glad to hear you're on the mend. Boo to lingering viruses. Went up to uni to collect my library card today, it's dissertation year, eek! But I'm quite excited about it. Coincidentally have been reading about viruses all afternoon.

CaptainCaveman · 02/10/2009 21:03

God I'm funny ......

sazz promise, guides honour we will be there!

Cyteen this time I will NOT miss the train home by twatting around. I mean, how far can the place be from the train station. It's only blummin Sheffield.....

CaptainCaveman · 02/10/2009 21:04

red get well soon. Glad you are feeling slightly better and your apetite has returned. Peanut butter on toast is my staple illness/wellness food. That and Bonto

sequinedsteaknife · 02/10/2009 21:05

oooh choice between The Matrix or the Fisher King filmwise.

cyteen · 02/10/2009 21:06

Oh god the Fisher King makes me blub

CaptainCaveman · 02/10/2009 21:13

I'm just a saddo who watches tat like A&E or old Mock the Week on Dave

sequinedsteaknife · 02/10/2009 21:16

yeah I get sucked into Dragons Den and Top Gear on Dave

"I know why you're here Neo"

The matrix is pretty kewl in a cheesy kind of way.

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 21:16

We're watching autumnwatch [total saddo's]

dizzydixies · 02/10/2009 21:19

right guys, you've cheered me up which considering the mood I was in is no mean feat - thank you

shall sign off for now and convrse with DH now I believe I can manage that without wanting to kill him he's on a 6pm-4am shift so will be back once the girls are in bed

CaptainCaveman · 02/10/2009 21:20

I've yet to get my glass of wine. Has anyone else NEVER seen the matix? Am I weird?

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 21:20

Night dizz. Happy conversing [smut]

hotterpotter · 02/10/2009 21:31

Anyone there? I have finally finished un packing as the 70kg allowance which I thought would be loads was exceeded quite considerably on the first weigh-in (I have NotHotMama packing tedencies ) All coming in under budget now but am a bit concerned we won't have a lot of room for mucky booze on the way home

sequinedsteaknife · 02/10/2009 21:34

Night Dizz

No cc not wierd, I think I've only watched it because of boyfs. I like sci-fi stuff when I watch it but wouldn't choose it for myself - well unless there was a good song and dance number in it.

you still on the self pity sofa sazz or warming yourself infront of your real fire?

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 21:40

No, i am over the chinese cravings thanks and the red wine fire is warming my cockles nicely . Do you have a fire in your bijou cottage?

hots we managed 65kg to the US

hotterpotter · 02/10/2009 21:45

Show-off I really don't understand what is weighing so much ...maybe it's my scales

Fire sounds lovely, we have a fireplace but don't use it much. There's loads of wood down the bottom of the garden too...

Steaky meant to say before that your 18 units of gas is a good small number I must admit to being worried about your bill when you said you'd used 180 units

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 21:47

I would have thought you would have got the hang of this weighing thing by now

hotterpotter · 02/10/2009 21:48

I was actually moaning earlier that as I have lost so much weight I should be allowed extra luggage allowance

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 21:49

ROFL. Loving your logic

sequinedsteaknife · 02/10/2009 21:52

Sadly no original features left in my house, other than the walls and roof and all the fireplaces have been boarded over so I have those little vents all over the place.

Thanks HP I am sitting here wrapped in cosy blankets so I think I might put the heating on a bit later and for a bit longer in the evenings. Mum just tells me to put on more jumpers.

With packing I usually find you can take out half and still have more than you need. But then I always pack things like a nice dress incase I go out to dinner [triumph of hope over experience emoticon]

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 21:58

Right, DH snoring so time for me to take him to bed........

Can i borrow your last emoticon steaky

hotterpotter · 02/10/2009 21:58

OK it's time for Peep Show then bed so I'm off

Not sure how I'll manage without you all for a whole week, even when I don't have time to post I do manage to keep up. At least I have our Sheffield meet to look forward to when I get back

Hope everyone who is poorly is feeling better, and everyone who is well stays that way. See you in a week!
