Sexonlegs · 09/10/2009 20:42

Oh PCM, how truly wonderful to see you Many congrats on your pg number 2. How have you been?? How is your ds? Can't believe he is 20 months. Katie is 2 1/2.

Do you hear anything from Coggy?

I am so thrilled to see you xxxx

pussycatmomma · 09/10/2009 20:52

aaaaah, SOL, thanks for remembering me! its a bit like being a newbie all over again its been that long. Im fine thank you!! Yes ds is 20 months and the light of our lives. We just couldnt believe it to find I was pregnant this time - no trying, no drugs, no op, no temping, no spitting on the little microscope thing, no nothing!!!! (well obviously a little bit of something! ahem !!) We have been so blessed. Cant believe your little one is 2 and half!!! No, i never hear from Coggy at all, does she still come on mn? Do you know if she had any success? I still keep a really old thread on my watched ones, coggys catch up i think its called, just in case she ever came on, but she never did for months.
And me, well, I had Noah and that seemed to have been the end of my mumsnetting career!!! I never seemed to have a second in those early days, if it wasnt bf group, or baby massage, it was swimming or singing. Im still rushed off my feet now of course, but thats cause he's a complete proper little person whos into everything. Dont know what I was fannying about at when he was a newborn - he just used to sleep alot in his swing listening to the dishwasher!!!!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

pussycatmomma · 09/10/2009 20:53

btw, just had a sneak at your profile, and your girls are GORGEOUS!!!!!!!

Sexonlegs · 09/10/2009 20:58

Ah, thanks PCM; I've come over all weepy- must be the 2 glasses of wine!

I must admit, I took a peak at your profile as well. N is lovely. Lovely to see what you look like too!!

I look out for Coggy every now and then, although I am not on mn as much as I used to be. I really hope things turned out well for her. I have a feeling she was looking in to adoption.

Doobydoo · 09/10/2009 21:02

hOPE THE ILLUNS ARE FEELING OK?
sol..TIS TRICKY as I have said before your dd sounds so much like my ds
If you can be ok go for the weekend if not,don't...you might find it too stressful.Do you think your dh will talk to his dad about it?Difficult when someone has time to sit and brood and over analyse everything though.
xx

oooggs · 09/10/2009 21:02

hey pussycatmomma - I remember you too!!!! Sold that funny contraption fantastic news that you are expecting again time goes so fast!!!!

Hey ladies I am shattered (as per usual) and dh is going onto 12 hour shifts until Christmas so will miss every single bedtime and when he is on a day week he won't see dcs at all (leaves 6.30am back 7.50pm)

It is also getting cold down here dread to think how cold it is north of Bristol

pussycatmomma · 09/10/2009 21:04

I must update it actually, all the bump ones are from N and not any from this preg, although I do have some but not as many im afraid to say.
mmmmmmmmmmmm, whats that you say, wine???! roll on the baby popping out cause I could do with a little alcohol right now!!! grr, 9 months is far to long to go without! but there it is all the same. Hope to see you on here again soon, take care sweetie! xxxx and no weeping into the wine, such a waste

runnyhabbit · 09/10/2009 21:08

Sol - Let dh take them on his own. The only way to cope with pil, is to see them as little as poss
Me and dh have kind of come to understand when we need to talk to any of the GP - I talk to mine, and he talks to his. As frustrating as it is (and I totally understand where you're coming from) ignorance is bliss, imvho. When dh takes the boys to his parents, I don't need to know what they talked about, just as long as my boys had a good time.

Enjoy the peace and quiet
x

runnyhabbit · 09/10/2009 21:10

However, must say that if pil said anythinhg directly to me about the boys, I would have no hesitation in replying...which is probably why I only hear good thingd from them

Evening everyone else Boys at mums, dh decorating, so I'm off for a soak

Sexonlegs · 09/10/2009 21:27

See you soon PCM; don't leave it too long though, and let us know how it all goes xx

Oooggs, blimey, that sounds pants re your dh and his work schedule. I hope you get some help at some point.

Dooby, how are you feeling?

Runny, your post made me smile Ikwym re ignorance is bliss. As long as they have a nice time and I don't have to be involved then all the better!!

Not sure when I am going to broach the subject with dh; will have to find a suitable time. I know he will be anti me staying away, but it really is for the best imo.

CaptainDippy · 10/10/2009 07:55

A is wearing her first ever dress Not just trying it on for the photos!
And I'm firmly in the sleepsuits till they're 6mo camp, but she has so much lovely stuff (mostly courtesy of Indith ) that it'd be a shame if she never wore it

SoonInTheSunshine · 10/10/2009 16:31

Fantastic news Dooby - you must be so relieved! How are you feeling now btw?

leakyR · 11/10/2009 16:27

Hi all

No prospect of me ever catching up properly. I have been pants at keeping up, but don't ever seem to have time to get on here anymore.
In order to keep George on an even keel and prevent him being mean to Iris we do one or two activities that get us out of the house every day. It's my fear of PND again that is
driving this frenzy of doing. It does mean I'm shattered by teatime most days.

Iris is fab, smiley and chubby and so pleasant. She giggles like mad at G, has started rolling and will be 6 months in 2 weeks time! SPB talking about putting A in dress resonates with me. Iris got so much lovely stuff, new and handed down - she hardly wore some things before she outgrew them. Thankfully I can pass stuff on to our new niece.

DH working in Europe a lot atm. He's in Luxemburg today. There's a possibility of a long stint in Netherlands, but if it happens we'd all relocate there and rent out the house here.

Hope all are well and I'll try and do more than lurk from now on.

StealthPolarBear · 11/10/2009 16:31

Hi leaky

leakyR · 11/10/2009 16:39

By the way SPB, this person with 2dc doesn't get much sleep t all! Iris is a better sleeper than G was but they never seem to have a good night at the same time. I've read Stick Man at 3am more times than I care to remember since dd arrived. G never just wants a hug and a drink any more!
