So what's up Caz?

Sad news re Dizzy's twins

Dooby, thinking of you, what happened to Hannah? Glad to hear the house news, hopefully you can get really settled in and concentrate on that course.

StealthPolarBear · 03/10/2009 10:18

Well it's windy and a bit showery but sunny and pleasant in between rain! Think GM is getting married here, for October it could have been a lot worse

Doobydoo · 03/10/2009 10:50

Thanks Elkie...I will certainly need to concentrate on course[eek]
Hannah was born at 32 weeks,I had Polyhydramnious[onset sudden]she developed problems shortly after birth and died at 13 days old.Weird to think I was 21 then and she would be 19 now!
M has stinky snot cold and might have 'ears' again.he is very grumpy!
Windy here too SPB
hOPE gm HAS A LOVELY DAY...AND THE REST OF YOU TOO[SMILE]

Sexonlegs · 03/10/2009 14:15

Hi lovelies

GM, hope your day is going swimmingly

Awful news re the twins

Dooby, that must have been dreadful. Massive hugs to you xx

Caz, hope you are ok.

All ok here. Just feeling a bit flat and bored of the same old same old, but nothing major. So tired as well; since the side came off K's cot, she has been waking early grrrr

Sorry for whinging; all I seem to do atm on here

Hope everyone is ok and having a lovely weekend.

CaptainDippy · 03/10/2009 20:11

Dooby, that must have been so hard for you. So glad you got to spend a precious fortnight with your lovely angel

Right, off to make a cuppa and watch X-Factor ...

Oooooh, GM got married today - congratulations - hope pics are on FB soon

elkiedee · 03/10/2009 22:05

Congratulations to GM and Mr GM!

Dooby, that must be very hard.

We went to a lovely birthday party on a city farm today - a joint 1st and 3rd birthday. I was quite surprised and touched that we were all invited, as this is a family I've only got to know a little bit over the last few months. Danny was a bit confused by the workings of Pass the Parcel but so were all the 3 year olds - party games for toddlers are a bit like herding cats.

Doobydoo · 03/10/2009 22:30

[elkie]
Thanks guys.
I am lucky I have 2 very noisy sons and 2 naughty dogs to keep me and my fab dp well and truly occupied
Tried to watch a programme about Gandhi and then got cross at the way he treated his familyI know he was doing it for the greater good[he thought]but I believe compassion and love etc and tolerance should start at home...I think it can be easier sometimes to go for the bigger picture and harder to deal with the close to home family stuff....so there!

Doobydoo · 03/10/2009 22:31

I'm not dissing Gandhi he was always someone I truly admired but....am cross.

CaptainDippy · 04/10/2009 07:26

It's ok to be cross, Dooby!!

Is that every day SOL?

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 04/10/2009 18:19

although if she was a troll I'm glad asit means it didn't really happen.
anyone nosey, see posts on this thread (i.e. ours) from Thursday evening - oooggs PLEASE tell me if I have the wrong end of the stick

Doobydoo · 04/10/2009 19:25

I hope it didn't happen but am v concerned now as if was troll v horrid

Doobydoo · 04/10/2009 19:40

No..am totally confused I hope OOGGS can enlighten us a some point.

oooggs · 04/10/2009 20:12

Luce was thinking of you earlier

right then girls - the thread was about dizzy - someone (who had name changed) suggested that she may be a troll, lots of things didn't add up. I have no idea, I know deemented is 'real' but she only had contact with dizzy via text and email, she didn't 'know' her.

I feel disappointed, either way, whether she isn't a troll then this is terrible and she has been through enough and if she isn't a troll she has sucked in a lot of people and that is also terrible.

I have lost an element of faith at this and today am so glad to those nice mumsnetters I have met and spoken to on the phone (just hope those I have only had email/text contact with are real as well )

I have just finished the glossing in Erins room and the carpet should be laid next saturday, dh just has to sort out around the window frame and the sill. Still need to buy bloody curtain material though!!

geordieminx · 04/10/2009 20:55
