StealthPolarBear · 07/10/2009 14:29

Wow C looked so cute Hope you have a good time and C enjoys time with your mum.
Your main photo's gone, did you know?
Thanks everyone for the reassurance, I know I'm being daft, but I suppose I'm now used to T being so demanding that if I'm not doing stuff with or for her I feel neglectful. She justreally doens't need that much! She's justhada bath and is asleep again (in her basket -miracle after T!). Remind me of thi in a month or two when I'm wingeing about how demanding she is and how she never sleeps

Bramshott · 07/10/2009 15:43

Oooh - don't know - thought it was you, because of your impending trip to NY, but now I think about it, it won't be very sunny there will it!! Sorry! It was your DS I was referring to!

Sexonlegs · 07/10/2009 16:25

It's SB. She is off on her hols in a few weeks

SB, bless E; very clever.

Well, our talk worked! K got up at 7.15 and at no other time - hurrah! Let's see what happens tonight. She seems ok; unable to get a GP appointment until Monday - good job it isn't serious!!

Dippy, hope you feel better soon.

GM, lovely pics Hope you have a wonderful trip. A honeymoon baby perhaps???

Hope all is ok with everyone. Better go. Girls are driving me nuts today. Bloody pissing rain!!!

geordieminx · 07/10/2009 16:30

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Have coil well and truely in place!

((((although am enjoying this "sex wih a married man" thing)

Sexonlegs · 07/10/2009 17:53

StealthPolarBear · 07/10/2009 18:59

CaptainDippy · 07/10/2009 19:44

OP posts:
oooggs · 07/10/2009 22:03

gm and C looks fantastic (as do you and dh)

sb - wow sun (forgotten what that looks like)

sick of the rain

elkiedee · 07/10/2009 23:52

LOL at GM.

I'm suddenly beginning to find life on maternity leave much more enjoyable just as it comes to an end again - lots of things to do, making some friends, plans to launch a new NCT branch in this area.

Except that after a few months when I really thought we'd put the problems of Conor's early days behind us, my GP seems to have dusted off my file and decided I need some sort of intervention I really don't want . So I'm feeling very stressed and upset again.

SoonInTheSunshine · 08/10/2009 09:18

How is he doing Elkie? I am assuming that you are happy with his progress. I wonder why they are suddenly interested in him again. Hope you manage to sort it out without to much intervention, bloody health professionals can really be a pita at times.
Take care x

And yes, it's me, SB/MJ, just thought I would have a sunny name for a few days before I go!

StealthPolarBear · 08/10/2009 11:18

Hi everyone
elkie, hope it is just a final review to check everything is still good before filing it for good iyswim.

StealthPolarBear · 08/10/2009 14:00

Feeling good today, had plenty of sleep and managed to get us all up and out this morning to drop T off at nursery for 8.30! A record since having A! And although he was a bit clingy he wasn't really upset as he has been the last few times

SoonInTheSunshine · 08/10/2009 14:06

That's good that he wasn't so upset SPB. F still gets upset and has been going for a while now. Some days she is fab going in, others she is dreadful.
Glad you managed a good sleep too!

I still have my cold which doesn't seem to want to shift. I need it to go as it is leaving me so tired, and I have too much to get sorted for Sunday!

StealthPolarBear · 08/10/2009 14:09

how long have you had it? Hope it will be gone in the morning!
It's awful when they're upset isn't it? Was a month or so before A was born, he just seemed to get worse, whether it coincided with us upping the 'baby brother or sister' talk and he started feeling insecure I don't know...

Doobydoo · 08/10/2009 18:20

Echo what the others have said SPB
SOL..How is K doing?
Have fab honeymoon GM and hols SOONTO BEINTHE SUN...
Elkie any idea yet what sort of intervention they are thinking of?Iknow you will be worried and I hope there is no need for you to be.
Dippy how are you??????????

I went to docs yesterday and have Vertigo..have had it before but particularly unpleasant at the moment.I was going to go as I have had really awful back ache for about 5 weeks...hideous in the nght and for about 2 hours after I am up.I am having bloods done on
Monday and if they ok xrays 'tis horrid.I reckon the vertigo is the equivalent of the
vapours when woman were womanprob the shock of my 1st day after return to nursing
courseI have some tabs for vertigo and
me back.

CaptainDippy · 08/10/2009 18:23

Yey for "me back" Dooby Always good to know what is wrong, eh!!?

Looking forward to my 3 being in bed - VERY noisy atm and doing my nut ....

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 08/10/2009 19:52

oh great, T&A both have colds and T is heading for yet another ear infection

CaptainDippy · 09/10/2009 09:10

to you all SPB. It's that time of year again. Sigh. Oh well, coming up to the Season To Be Jolly!!!!

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 09/10/2009 09:46

thanks well no ear pain yet touch wood and its the weekend now so not such a problem. A seems much better too although she was snuffling like a piglet all night
how are you?

StealthPolarBear · 09/10/2009 12:01

SB and dooby how are you feeling?

Sexonlegs · 09/10/2009 13:09

Hello all.

Sorry to hear of lots of poorly people about. Hope everyone is better soon.

SPB, I echo others, K is fab most days when I drop her at nursery, but this morning she was awful Kicking and crying as one of the nursery assistants tried to give her a cuddle

Spots seem ok; do not believe it to be chickenpox, but will keep the GP appointment for Monday as it is strange.

OK, I need your thoughts. As you know relations have been strained with the in-lasws after fil advised dh of his thoughts re Becky. Anyway, I cannot let it go. Dh wants us to go and spend the weekend with them. I have no inclination to go whatsoever.

So, shall I dig my heels in!!! I am happy for dh to go and take the girls; I wouldn't want to deprive them of seeing K and B (although B says she doesn't like them, and I promise I have never uttered my views about them in front of her).

Thoughts?

Need to go as toilets to clean and floors to be hoovered.
xxxxx

CaptainDippy · 09/10/2009 13:21

I think suggesting DH take the girls is good - no point having a miserable, stilted w/e for no good whatsoever - just torturing yourself imho. Think you do need to talk to them again though - or DH needs to!! HTH!!?

Glad T seems to be ok enough today SPB

Wonder how DH is getting on!!?

OP posts:
StealthPolarBear · 09/10/2009 13:25

Hmmm...not sure - why should B go when he thinks that? Could she stay with you? Or do you think that was badly judged frustration talking and he'd love to see her?
T was better at nursery today - there's no pattern or maybe it's because I got there in time for breakfast and he smelt the toast!
What's your DH up to Dippy? How are you feeling?

Yes, floors to be cleaned and toilets here too but but but...

Sexonlegs · 09/10/2009 20:23

Gawd, no posts for ages!

Not sure what to make of fil's outburst SPB. I do know that he needs to get a life and stop analyzing everything and everyone. He doesn't really work and has no hobbies.

MIL is the same; she works but has no hobbies.

She sent us a parcel today; a postcard each for the girls, a fridge magnet for me and a photo for dh.

She is thoughtful, but I sometimes wish she would just give it a rest. I handed B her postcard and said how lovely it was. She just said, why does she keep sending stuff?
So even B feels overwhelmed by it; they just try too hard.

Sorry again for the rant.
