That reminds mt phoenix, must rebook ds2's appt for boosters now his spots have gone! Someone remind me please.

Actually had a night without taking painkillers half way through Back to the 'normal' tooth pain rather than the trauma of the failed injections type pain, thank god. Just hangig on for my rreferral now. Dh reckons I shouldnt do the Hyde Park 5km tomo tho, but i love that one, I always do it, even my biopsy didnt stop me last year. I just donrt know what to do. I'm very unfit after 2 eeeks off exercise, but I could jog it at least.

The ebay thing ended last night... dh got £241 . Thats gonna pay for ds1's school dinners this term (£70) and maintenence fund (£80) and make our overdraft this month a bit smaller! Oh and I got a National Geographic projector for ds1's birthday, less han half price in Argos; £10.36. He's going to love it! Ds2 will be giving him a British Museum Ancient Eygpt stamper kit thing that I got brand new in the charity shop for £3.50 , and we have a few chhose-your-own-adventure type books for him from book People (pac kof 10 but splitting so some for friends for xmas too).

And did you see that boots thread; pricing error on Office website... £125 boots going for £43 inc postage. I've ordered some cos my Mum says I can have them as my xmas present Just gotta hope they honour he price now!!

Jas · 05/09/2009 14:57

Don't forget to book ds2s jabs, mrm

mustrunmore · 05/09/2009 15:06
Hmm
mustrunmore · 06/09/2009 19:37

I did it! I did this years Hyde Park 5km with an achinh face, dosed up to the eyeballs and full of coffee to counter the sleepiness from the drugs. I brgan bleeding at about 3.5km so walked for 2 mins, but still managed to do ir in exectly 30mins Quite pleeased with myself . And boys happy... park, picnic, nat hist museum afer!

Jas · 07/09/2009 14:37

Well done you mad woman, you!

mustrunmore · 07/09/2009 17:02

Et, not quite Jas, but I have thought about it! Will pop in and do it tomo I think.

Got my appt for the 'emergency' dental thing.... 5th October . I think I might have to see if there's another option.

Jas · 07/09/2009 17:52

Well don't say I didn't remind you....

Other option will be £££
My friends ds needed a tooth pulled and she had to pay £100+ or make him wait a month

Flamesparrow · 07/09/2009 18:19

5th October?!?!?!

I am a tad concerned... I feel weird. The kind of weird I felt the night before I went into labour with DD.

Thinking hot bath and doing NOTHING is a wise move!

When are you due?
An early one would be nice (assuming you aren't due in November)

Jas · 07/09/2009 18:55

5 weeks to go? Maybe a bit of a rest would be good

Flamesparrow · 07/09/2009 19:00

Yup, 5 1/2 weeks, so still a leeeeetle too early for my liking. DH is now on child duty whilst I stay still

mustrunmore · 07/09/2009 19:02

But Jas, I'm paying for this anyway; no NHs here.

mustrunmore · 07/09/2009 19:07

oops

Jas · 07/09/2009 19:16

N NHS....she got her ds seen the next day when paying, so a month wait is definitely excessive!

mustrunmore · 07/09/2009 19:31

Was that with sedation?
I think he's just refering me there cos they have some kind of arrangement, but I'm a naturally suspicious person!

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/09/2009 20:21

You need to get pregnant mrm, then your dentistry would be free . Well done on run.

Sending calming 'do nothing' vibes flame.

CantSleepWontSleep · 07/09/2009 20:21

Dd's pre-school booster tomorrow.

mustrunmore · 07/09/2009 20:46

I could go with Falme and ptetend we are one person
Er, yeah, get pg...
1.Dh is snipped
2.I dont like kids
3.Kids cost more over all
4.You cant get most of the stuff doner whilst pg that I need doing anyway, so I couldnt take advantage

Jas · 07/09/2009 22:45

See if Flame had had her baby you could pretend to be her and have it done free......

poss not wrth 5 weeks early though.

Yes it was in hospital under GA, as non- co-operative 6 yr old. Only difference by paying was waiting time - same hospital, same drs, same treatment.

I have an orthodontist appt for dd1 this week - we will see if her teeth are going to be bad enough to qualify for free treatment.

Jas · 07/09/2009 22:53

csws - I saw you being quoted as a "wise old bird" on a thread today

mustrunmore · 08/09/2009 07:51

Whats the chances of combining dd1's appt with my needs?

Flamesparrow · 08/09/2009 08:03

Not sure an orthodontist would do you much good tbh.

MRM - go on the I'm not a slut or whore thread and back the woman with the pole up (obv leave out that you clearly are a slut and a whore^ )
