How old will ds be when baby born csws? could you get away with buggy board?

Flame · 04/03/2010 07:51

We had that with one of DD1's friends Friz

Oh, and we just postponed DS's birthday until the party day - told everyone that it had been postponed, he knew no different so just assumed that was his birthday I think the best part of his birthday was when I took him to toys r us on monday tbh - it was just us (well, DD2 was asleep), he got to spend his birthday money and choose things in the magical world that is a toy shop, then I agreed to him having gogos and a ride on one of the car things... kid was in heaven

MRM - went with the nice nap Was soooooooo tired.

Um, have forgotten what else I was going to reply to.

mustrunmore · 04/03/2010 12:06

Argh. First class I've been to in 3 months..cancelled.

Am n9ow going to attempt to clean house before ds2's new friend comes to play tomom, as it looks like a total shithole. How do people manage to keep houses so pristine? Then if any time left I'm going to either WiiFit or get the pneumatic drill going in the garden.

mustrunmore · 04/03/2010 19:23

Look at the product testingthread... I'm going to learn how to make smells next wed[ grin]

Frizbe · 04/03/2010 21:42

yay MRM have fun you made me giggle with your decision, which was it btw? drill or wii?

Me shattered, have just gotten sat down again. Employee is still awaiting babys arrival, things have stopped, nightmare for his wife! not so much fun on the work front either with everyone off, gah

Frizbe · 04/03/2010 21:49

Oh yeah tis dd2's birthday isn't it! she's had a lovely day with gran, has been shopping for a new party dress and shoes (came back with plimsols! with a bow on them) She opened her prezzies with us this morning I got home just in time to put her to bed

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/03/2010 21:55

Aww, happy birthday N!

CantSleepWontSleep · 04/03/2010 21:56

ds will be 20/21 months mrm. I don't think that a buggy board will be enough, esp if I am out with all 3 of them at once and have to keep them all under control!

mustrunmore · 05/03/2010 07:52

Yeah, I hink you might be rigt on that one csws. How about getting dd to pusha dolly buggy with ds in it?

Friz, the decision was neither Spent bloody 3 hours cleaning and only did the downstairs. And still looks like a shithole!

Jas · 05/03/2010 11:55

You could always try FLY lady mrm[grn] I am back on there again....

Trying to keep busy today. Mum has breast cancer in is in hospital having surgery today. All the right things have been done and she has caught it early, but still a worrying time.

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/03/2010 12:20

Fingers crossed for your mum Jas. Mine seems to be fine after her surgery.

Frizbe · 05/03/2010 21:45

Fingers x'd all is ok Jas, Dh's Auntie was treated for it recently and is ok now. {{{Hugs}}} especially for you though.

Yep I think you need that expensive buggy CSWS I know I'd like that! but then I've always had expensive tastes, maybe I was rich in a previous life?!!

{{{Hugs}}} MRM, house cleaning is so, gah...I have to tackle mine before the horde party guests arrive on sunday! (for the adult party, after the kids party...)

Frizbe · 07/03/2010 21:32

Well we're partied out here dd2 a very happy bunny, had a lot of fun today with all of her friends (soft play, followed by grandparents at our house) will chuck a photo or two on facebook soon.

how's the rest of you then?

mustrunmore · 08/03/2010 08:48

Jas, MIL made a full recovery too; I know thats not much comfort, but law of averages seems to work in favour these days

glad you survived party frizbe!

Just to prewarn you all, I'm not feeling great. I might drop off here for a bit. I dont have a single pair of jeans tthat fit now, i'm back to the same size I was after having ds2 . I dont think I can face a meet up atm. I just want to dosapprear.

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/03/2010 12:45

But you'd lost loads of weight mrm - what happened? We still loved you when we saw you after having ds2 you know . And you can stand next to me if it makes you feel better - double bonus with my baby belly!

Jas · 09/03/2010 10:15

Thanks for all your thoughts girls.Mum as feeling much better after her surgery, and not looking too far ahead at what is still to come.
I'm going to visit with the dds on Sat though.

mrm. Sorry you are feeling so low again. Are you not getting enough exercise or is it just not helping?
I will be very cross if you don't do the meet up because of your size. Do you really think we only want slim people to talk to???
An evening with us might help you feel a bit brighter.

ds is a disaster at the moment.
Addicted to computer games. I'm getting daily tamtrums as I've severely limited all techno time.

mustrunmore · 09/03/2010 10:55

Havent trainmed for couple of months went to gym yest and couldnt even run 5km . it was just one illnes afer another, no childcare over xmas, I had that entire body rash too remmeber?

Glad your Mum doing ok

Jas · 09/03/2010 11:53

Well that is sort of good news. Much better than training and putting weight on, surely.

Are you getting time to do some training now?

I know with ds at nursery I should have more time free, but it doesn't seem to work that way.

Frizbe · 09/03/2010 23:08

MRM you must come to CSWS's! for a start you sure sound like you need a good night out with the girls! I'm perfectly sure that you'll be getting very fit again soon, (you're one of the most driven people I know!) you've just had a pile of things stopping you doing you stuff,{{{Hugs}}}

Jas, glad to hear mum doing good after the op.

Waves at everyone else, what's happening out there then?

Me - I'm getting dragged into local politics....really don't want to....will explain all in person at CSWS's, as it will probably all be over and sorted by then, hopefully with minimal hassle..had to do a speech thing at business council thing tonight and now have to go to town council thing next week...gah life would all be a lot simpler if we had a town centre manager......

EachPeachPearMum · 10/03/2010 21:18

Jas- hope your mum is continuing to improve.

mrm- sit next to me at csws'- you'll look fine! Have put loads on since going back to work (again)

csws- that buggy looks ace! Love the 16pic thing where you can see all the combinations.

Phoenix- cannot believe DS2 is pulling himself up already Have you found it goes much quicker the 2nd time round?

Jas- we get a lot of tantrums atm too... seems 4 is worse than 3

Frizbe · 10/03/2010 22:34

well it's a yay from here tonight, I have my replacement washing machine installed did I mention our last one was caught sparking by dd1 last week so very grateful she went into the kitchen when she did, or we may well have gone up in smoke.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/03/2010 22:36

Eek friz - thank goodness for dd spotting it in time!

Were there any pics of you at the 'do' EPPM?

I ordered the buggy .
But our car purchase is on hold as dh will be out of work again at the end of this month .

Frizbe · 10/03/2010 22:39

for buggy CSWS, but for the work issue...I hope he gets something again soon, I've noticed its rather quiet on the retail front up here this week

EachPeachPearMum · 10/03/2010 23:10

Friz- tres scary!

csws- There is a glimpse (well, more a sliver) of my dress in one pic- I wore a dress!
Sorry to hear about DH though of course- I presume you need new car now... not too many fit 3 seats across do they? Or were you going up to 7 seater? Is DD's school doable on foot in September?

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/03/2010 08:05

Our car can fit 4 kids in, as it's 3 rows of two, but we want the 3 of them in a single row to avoid having to take car seats out of the middle row every time to get into the back. We are looking to buy a Land Rover Discovery 3.

lol at the idea of dd's school being walkable! We don't know which school she's got yet, but we're hoping for one 8-9 mins drive away! No school is walkable from here though.
