MmmEggs · 26/08/2009 16:26

jusrt random furniture in bedroom

mustrunmore · 26/08/2009 16:30

Put dh's beloved 8track on ebay last night, as we are seriously in trouble financially and had already booked southend before this got so bad (it was for me and friend originally so I'd have only been paying half). . . its got a bid of £150 on it already and 8 watchers. I made about £80 selling some clothes of mine. but got nothing of value left to sell now

MmmEggs · 26/08/2009 16:39

Coffee table stays with me til I die

The short one strikes again eh Flame?

Hope DD is ok csws. Now you mention about the blood tests my fasting one was ok last time too

for new shop Friz

We're going to Flamingo Land tomorrow . It's like we're going away for a week with all the stuff we're taking for a day out.

mustrunmore · 26/08/2009 17:11

What on earth is Flamingo Land? Not just what it says on the tin, surely?

Btw, forgot to do the happy dance of someone with a ds1 who has had TWO NIGHTS NO NAPPY NO ACCIDENTS Finally the peer pressure of ds2 had an effect I think!

Phoenix · 26/08/2009 17:29

Oh sorry, Flamingo Land

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/08/2009 20:47

Dd rib not cracked, and she seems to be in less pain today.

Mum has breast cancer.

Great news re new store Friz.

Flamingo Land looks fun Phoenix. When you mentioned it I thought that I had been there, but don't recall ever going to North Yorkshire, so maybe not .

EachPeachPearMum · 26/08/2009 21:05

csws- glad to hear dd is okay. Sorry to hear about your mum- you must have a lot of conflicting emotions to deal with right now

mrm- great about DS1! What is Flame's coffee table like then?

eek for flameboy...

have a lovely day Phoenix clan

MmmEggs · 26/08/2009 22:26

It isn't that spectacular tbh. Very solid wood. It just has "something" about it I think. It was in the first flat we rented, not on the inventory so moved with us because I was oddly in love with it. Turns out MRM is too

mustrunmore · 26/08/2009 22:32

Poor MIl csws; we've just been in the same situation wih mil too, all clear now.

Table is lovely. Table makes me feel calm and happy. Table would look great in my front room.

CantSleepWontSleep · 26/08/2009 22:49

not mil mrm, my mum.
Yes indeed eppm.

mustrunmore · 27/08/2009 07:33

Oops, sorry csws, I totallty misread that somehow.

Off to wet seaside in a bit.

Jas · 27/08/2009 07:36

Great news abut shop2 Frizbe.

Very impressed with ds1 dry-nights, mrm. How was last night? Enjoy your weekend away.

Have fun at Flamingo Land Phoenix, it looks good.

csws - god news re dd. Is she feeling better?
@ your mum......Are you ok?

We are supposed to be going to the farm today, but weather looks dire, and I'm not really in the mood....

Flamesparrow · 27/08/2009 10:31

How have I failed so badly with DS? He listens to nothing. He has just tried to pss out of the kitchen window and got it all over the side. WHY??? I had dared to turn my back to find some washing. Why not use the fckin toilet like any other human being who has been out of nappies for any time at all??

As hard as I try to get the house sorted, he destroys something else.

I am tired.

I don't want to do it any more.

My mum said that with DH's week off she would help take kids away etc so we could get sorted. Week off finished today and they haven't been taken away once. If she hadn't offered then it wouldn't matter, but why offer and then not do it???

I'm at the stage of wanting a full breakdown just to escape.

Jas · 27/08/2009 10:36

Flame.

You know you haven't failed, don't you?
DS is just as bad, and I don't think I'm a bad parent, just a not-perfect one.

Sorry you've not had any support from your mum this week. I know how much worse it is when you think you'll get a break and don't, compared to just having to get on with it on your own.

Flamesparrow · 27/08/2009 16:44

A lot of this is depression talking I think. I sobbed on DH earlier that I miss my pills . I know that this is what I want to do (medication-wise) for the baby, that it is only a few weeks to get through, but it doesn't stop me being hell

DS's main problem is boredom I think. Plus he knows he can act up more because I am not in a fit state to deal with him (he has gotten much much worse since I got pregnant and was so sick).

He will have 4 sessions of preschool and a whole day of nursery in just over a week - it should occupy him and tire him!

Fancy dress party on Saturday. DH is getting very carried away and spent nearly £10 on stuff to make his scars work (going as Joker). I managed to get a maxi dress cheap, so am going as pregnant Angelina - DH is spending Saturday drawing tattoos on me

Flame, ds2, I've only discovered the other day, has been pissing in thw sink instaed of the toilet. And he's just tried to launch himself off the hotel balcony. And I'm on the hotel pc ignoring it all. So chill

EachPeachPearMum · 28/08/2009 19:53

Flame- you haven't failed... he is just a 3yo! pissing out of the kitchen window takes some ingenuity if you ask me wish I had a 3yo who would dare to do something like that- climbing over the head of her bed instead of getting out normally is what she considers adventurous ... it's about 15" high...

Plus he knows you are tired, and will play on that- term-time will help, definitely.

mrm- yours too? is this a boy thing, the peeing in inappropriate places?

Flame- you need some lip-cote stuff to make your lips all bee-stingy!

We went to Severn Valley Railway today, and had a lovely day- DD really enjoyed it, but even DS seemed v excited on the train

Frizbe · 28/08/2009 20:44

{{{Hugs}}} CSWS, tough times ahead hope you doing ok. Glad dd is ok, bet that's a relief.

Flame, dh says he's a boy and they do that unless you're on their case all the time (which is no help what so ever I know)
I'll have UQD's latest book with me when I pop down, will try n remember to bring it over with me so you can take a look

Phoenix, you made me laugh with having to post where Flamingoland is and what it is, I just assumed everyone would know tis a northern (ish in my case) thing!

MRM, well as you're not on the news I will assume ds has not made it over the balcony sorry the store's not in London yet! give me time

Waves at EPPM and Jas and anyone else whose lurking.

As you may have guessed we're off to Christchurch this week, so maybe intermittently on here, possibly whilst at Flames if she doesn't run screaming at the thought of us visiting

Jas · 28/08/2009 21:17

at Frizbe.

mustrunmore · 29/08/2009 09:17

I have a spade shaped pen that I got from the severn valley railway when I was 5 or 6

No, not over balcony. Did nearly blow off the pier though.

Had to see emergency dentist yesterday, and made real appt for wed... either the tooth that broke off, or my wisdom tooth apparently. Whatever it is I'm in agony and got anti viotics. And painkillers have no effect. Not good in wind!!
