Right better get my rather large behind off here - got an essay to write. Back later for work avoidance.

treedelivery · 01/06/2009 20:35

eh? Me? I haven't got dressed today.

....so the GP. She suggested for the depression.............St Johns Wort and more cycling!

I heart the GP! It's such ace advice onthe cycling, and the St Johns Wort is a great idea. He went straight to supermarket and got some. Does this mean immediate full on full of joy bouncy dh? Cos I'm not having sex in a tent and thats that.

True about sleep after the jabs - I'd forgotten that.

Dog - am thinking of dh in an endorphine herbal good mood. That can only mean he'll want sex.

Not in a tent. My mums tent too. Shudder.

LenniEd · 01/06/2009 20:42

Sex - what is that??

hongkongzoe · 01/06/2009 20:45

sex in a tent!

What a great sounding GP. When are you off camping? We were meant ot go last week but chickened out on the day...because DS had a slight cold and it was raining weight big girls blouse emoticon

Oh...I can't type tonight...didn't mean to post a link...should just say [ light weight big girl's blouse emoticon ]

hongkongzoe · 01/06/2009 20:49

I went on a two week sex strike as DP wouldn't do condoms and I didn't want to risk getting a coil fitted and being up the duff. Am happy with coil so far (it's only been 5 days...)...don't want to start trying for DC3 for at least another year...if ever...still can't decide!

moosemama · 01/06/2009 21:19

Yes thanks Peach did do a thread in style, people were very helpful and I liked a lot of the suggestions but can seem to make a decision to save my life. I think we came up with linen trousers and either a nice fitted style kaftany top thing or fitted blouse and some wedges. Thing is, I have now looked at every conceivable combination of these outfits but am so indecisive I still haven't bought anything. Ultimately I just hate the way my ridiculous sized chest makes me look in anything.

I used to love clothes from Toast, alas they tend to stretch the budget a bit much these days.

Blimey folks, all this talk of sex has made me come over all faint. In our house s-e-x is just not mentioned let alone experienced for at least 12 months post partum.

By the way, you should read some of the old stories in the camping thread before even considering sex in a tent - what with the perfect silhouette effect of the tent/camping lamps and the lack of any kind of soundproofing, it really isn't advisable unless you want to endure lots of coy looks and/or winks from your fellow campers the following morning.

Ooooooh! I soooo want some chocolate - am feeling all jumpy and twitchy now - blummin sugar addiction.

treedelivery · 01/06/2009 21:29

I am not never ever never having sex in a tent. I don't care if he wins the lottery.

moosemama · 01/06/2009 21:35

Ah, but if he wins the lottery you could have a huge motorhome American stylee and then you'd have a lovely kingsize bed and your own room despite being on a campsite.

moosemama · 01/06/2009 21:36

Alternatively a room at a top boutique hotel.

PatTheHammer · 01/06/2009 21:47

Sorry, have just skim read as very busy with brother, SIL and nephew staying.

Moose Started my detox, went well till this evening when after my prawn stir-fry we had Tiramisu (in my defence our guests bought it and it would have been rude not to). Clothes wise I went to Primark yesterday and bought some cheap 'filler' clothes that I don't care if they don't fit me for long. Hope to be back to size 12 soon .

Ray have great trip!

dog Looking good for house I think.

HKZ DC3????????????????????? You are brave to be considering this! I think I'll get broody when these 2 at school, not a chance before though!

Big hello to everyone else

Oh, Zach taken to blowing raspberries constantly. He thinks its hilarious, I think it's not so funny when he does it on my nipple! Oh and been BITTEN a few times over last few days

missjackson · 01/06/2009 22:05

Just had quick skim-through in an effort to catch up with you ladies, so apologies if I have missed anything major!

jumperoo OMG I want one but DH will have a fit as the graco swing takes up most of the dining room as it is and hardly ever gets used these days.

ray Hope you have a fantastic time at Disneyland - looks like you will have amazing weather, and hope the journey goes well for you all - I heard the same thing about black cabs (that you don't need a car seat) so I'm sure it will be fine.

dog I think you can feel pretty confident about the house; the email sounded business-like and as if there were no reason for doubt.

nou-nous You did make me LOL tree at your tales of Bee and Moo! I think a nou-nou is a great idea and am going to get cracking with one for Nye - how about a simple muslin cloth that can be washed and interchanged at will?! How do you get them to 'attach' to it?

pat can't believe Zach actually has teeth and is biting you! Do you realise our monster-munchkins would be officially obese on the new breast-feeding charts?! . I'm sure they will even out once they start crawling around and using up all that energy.

Lenni good luck with getting on with work tonight! Have you got the job apps in yet? Your meal the other night sounded lovely if I didn't say so already.

MM I have found a great recipe for kalfi - never even heard of it so thanks for the tip - have yet to actually try it though! Hope you are managing to last the evening without sugar. No hope for me I'm afraid.

hkz and elkie looking forwards to Weds!

We've been having a lovely time in London, but haven't ventured into town yet - saving that for tomorrow, although dreading the tube as it will be as hot as all hell. We've been staying cool in Highgate Woods. On Sunday we went to the farmers' market in Ally Pally (DH teasing me about going to farmers' markets in London when we actually live on an organic sheep farm!) and then had a BBQ with the meat we bought, and then today went to the woods and had lunch with some friends, then got my hair cut while Mum looked after Nye, and am now enjoying a quiet night while he sleeps and everyone else out. Don't tell DH but it's actually really nice to spend some time alone for once! Just reading my sister's gardening books and slowly drinking a glass of wine .

tree I'm with you, sex in a tent is just wrong!
dog good idea, but I'm in the middle of nowhere so can't do pick-up-only on ebay, and have no idea how to use a courier, so selling the swing would be difficult. I supposed I could be organised and do it next time I am in London but by then it will be too late for a jumperoo. Does Isla have one?

treedelivery · 01/06/2009 22:29

On Friday I just forgot about the dairy thing and had a slice of bread with butter on.

DD2 is in agony tonight. Dh is doing the stairs with her. I wonder if it's that butter or coincidence. Sigh.

Brings back memories of the bad old days. Oh God they were awful.

missjackson · 01/06/2009 22:31

ps MM I am sure it's been suggested, but a fantastic bra and a wrap dress make anyone with tits look amazing.

missjackson · 01/06/2009 22:32

x-posted with you tree. Poor Hatts. Hope the stairs do the trick x
