Dog - so far I have to say yes. I have had 2 accidents, and both have resulted in wind issues. Lordy! Hopefully it's a figment of my imagination. It could easily be, seeing patterns where they don't exist.

She just burped fairly non stop for 20 secs, dh heard it downstairs, and is gurgling happily now. In between chunters. Blowing big raspberries.

moose have you got a friend who can choose/make decision for you? That way you don't have to decide... I am the same though- terrible- I will go out, find maybe half a dozen things, go back to each shop, etc etc, then buy none of them because I can't decide
It's quite frugal though

Of course, alternative is to wear something ludicrous like a fascinator, then they'll be so busy ing at your head, they won't even notice your norks....

No sex in tents- you wouldn't believe how much sound carries on a campsite. (wild camping is a different matter )

These jumperoos... are they all the rainforest ones? DS' music box thingy is the rainforest one- its v cute.

treedelivery · 01/06/2009 23:25

Moose - just buy all that looks like a winner on line. Then it just shows up a bit later. And you keep what you like and send back the others.

I do most of my shopping on line, I find it easier by far. I get complete outfits rather than bits that never match, and I buy every size that may fit ever.

stripeywoollenhat · 01/06/2009 23:30

pic of c in jumperoo on fb page - eppm, yes, it's the rainforest one

morning just caught up on 5 pages of chat

stripeywoollenhat · 02/06/2009 09:40

morning all - feeling a bit glum here despite the glorious weather - another day of trying to get c to have a nap, ho hum... actually she is currently having a nap so that's a bit unfair, i guess. think i'm just jealous, dp is going out to drink wine with friends this evening and i want to go too ... must try to keep in mind that if i were going i'd just be freaking out about what to wear... (made the error of trying on pre-c shirt a couple of days ago. feel elephantine...)

but the weather is gorgeous and so is the small girl, so must cheer up.

sex in a tent? closest i'm getting to that would be sex in one of the vast sheaths of fabric i'm currently using as clothes... i think not, i mean...

tree, hope h's innards are better today - i had quite a lot of icecream yesterday and poor c was very windy this morning, so no more icecream for me.

stripey - sounds like you need a nice trip out to a lovely cafe for cake fresh air. or a nap with dd? I know exactly how you are feeling and it's shite.

PatTheHammer · 02/06/2009 10:08

Morning! off for a day at Slimbridge today

HKZ we are going to legoland for DD's birthday next tuesday. GO that day!!!!! Meet up!!!! Tesco doing 2 for one vouchers at the moment.

Forgot to say re:dummies and sleep aids. Am very at any of your babies that do take dummies. Zach simply won't have it. DD had one and we used it for sleep only till she was about 2. Not at all hard to get rid of either, we just used the dummy fairy! Simple, never asked for again . I find them a godsend with a sucky baby, and I find it reassuring with the SIDs research. Zach is not playing at the moment though, and not going to force it, he seems to prefer sucking a muslin. My friends daughter who is 2 and half still carries her 'muzz' it's very sweet! I also have a friend who's DD is attached to cellular blankets. I do have a little silky blanky thing that Zach has slept with most nights, he hasn't noticed it yet though!

tree and stripey you can get dairy-free ice-cream can you not? My vegan friend used to have it. Probably tastes like cack though, better off with lollies

missjackson · 02/06/2009 10:34

stripey and tree I feel the same this morning; have been trying to persuade Nye into a nap for about 30 mins now and it's just so boring. I want to be downstairs eating chocolate brownies and drinking coffee with my sister and BIL! Might give up and take him down. But he gets so grumpy if he doesn't sleep. I'll give him 10 more minutes.

pat Nye is the same with dummies - would love him to have one as he is very sucky - but he just doesn't buy it. Not showing any interest in sucking his muslin either. Nothing is as good as my nipple it seems! I should be flattered....

EachPeachPearMum · 02/06/2009 10:42

Pat- swedish glace is v yummy!
missj- dd was the same...

moosemama · 02/06/2009 10:46

Morning all,

Still no sugar and mood surprisingly good.

DD still hasn't pooed but is stinking the place out with her windy bottom. Have to take her to baby clinic for her jabs in half an hour - am thinking she'll probably do it there just to get back at me. Not a good day for her to wear white methinks.

Am a bit peeved as DH has gone off to work with the car seat base and Mum is giving me a lift to the clinic. She has a coupe and its a nightmare getting the car seat in just using the seatbelt. Think we will make a detour to mothercare and buy a spare base, he's always forgetting to leave ours here.

Non-dairy ice cream is called Swedish Glace and is actually really tasty, they sell it in Sainsbury's but not sure about Tesco. Another one is called Tofutti and is made by Triano Brands, also very tasty. Both of them contain soya though and I know that babies with dairy intolerance are sometimes sensitive to soya as well.

Anyhoo, must dash, nekked baby rolling around the floor here and have to go out soon!

moosemama · 02/06/2009 10:47

Peach cross posts, sorry.

treedelivery · 02/06/2009 10:55

We have poo! Hurrah! Lots of wind both endsand a much happier baby.
Good luck for jabs Moose.
Also parasol arrived for Jane pushchair [£35!!!! ] and rear window car shade and back seat view mirror - so we are armed for our 6 hour drive and the tropical temps we will experience of holiday. Oh yes we will. I have spoken. The sun will shine.

treedelivery · 02/06/2009 11:38

mm - sorry that you are feeling low

jumperoo looks great fun

moosemama · 02/06/2009 14:58

Jules me glum? No missus not me. Think that was Stripey.

Stripey, hope you are feeling better and C had had some nice long naps.

Tree some nice stuff on that website, alas I don't think they will get here from Australia before Friday night.

DD was a brave little soul - noone told me it was 3 injections! She did cry a proper cry but only for a minute (she also bled on my nice white but obviously ill advised blouse), in fact when the HV came into clinic she asked what time dd was having her jabs and when I said she'd already had them she said she couldn't believe it as they normally 'know' when a baby's just had its jabs. She was all smiles and chuckles on the changing mat within a few minutes. Had a weigh in, she is 14lbs now at 19 weeks and 5 days.

Gotta go, school run time. Phew its hot!

julescantwaittoseebritney · 02/06/2009 15:13

sorry mm - glad injections went ok sounds like she is doing well weight wise

EachPeachPearMum · 02/06/2009 15:54

oof its too hot for bf!

moosemama · 02/06/2009 16:50

Picked up the boys from school and it turns out ds1 has been in tears on and off all day. He cried when it was time for him to go in this morning and in the end the teaching assistant took him in. Its so unlike him, he uually loves school.

Had a long chat and it seems a couple of things are going on. Firstly, I think the bloomin SATs have thrown him as he han't got his normal timetable for a couple of weeks. He isn't worried about the SATs tests themselves its just the disruption to his routine that's upsetting him. Also the trouble maker/bully boys of his year have been picking on him - I'm sick of this the same boys terrorise the other kids and have been doing so sine reception year, but despite parents complaining to the school and them constantly getting into trouble it continues to happen. I hate that it happens when I can't be there to help him, it makes me feel so helpless.

I have declared tonight a no-homework-night, and administered medicinal ice cream as well as given him his nw sandals which conveniently arrived today. He's now happily playing on his nintendo .

I guess I will just have to go and see his teacher in the morning - again - and take it from there.

Still no poo from dd and boy does she stink - whiiiiffyyyyy!

moosemama · 02/06/2009 16:52

Sorry, excuse the bad typing, punctuation etc am one handed here.

treedelivery · 02/06/2009 18:45

Moose glad jabs were ok.
Sorry your ds is a bit glum, good luck for tomorrow with his teacher. Poor thing.

I just picked up H's knitted wooly trousers that will be lanolised and used as a nappy wrap. Will up load pic asap, they are to die for!

moosemama · 02/06/2009 19:47

We have poo! Finally!

Unbelievabe explosion, requiring her, me all her clothes, half of my clothes, her play mat and her changing mat pad to be thoroughly decontaminated! Phew - wherever was she keeping it all?

Dog you heard about the house yet?

treedelivery · 02/06/2009 20:08

Hurrah for poo!

Woolies on my profile.
