Sazzles OUCH that looks painful.

@ Buckets! I am impressed with ds1. He sounds like he's well on his way. Do you have a small whiteboard he can practice on? My dd1 LOVES heres. We have a few different colored markers for it. I think I'd rather it be a chalkboard but couldn't find on. Anyway she practices all her letters there as well as creates wonderful art work.

brb...

HP how rubbish and unfair! So sorry. Hope something turns up with more appreciative colleagues.

Buckets that's brilliant, I love the thought that more kids = more of those moments.

Not tempted myself yet though, no way... DH was commenting on how much DD is growing now the other day and ended up, '...so shall we have another baby?' Apparently the look on my face was the best laugh he'd had in months...

Sambo whereabouts in France will you be? We are going to Paris the last week of May. Would be a bit silly to meet up there though I suppose - don't you live quite near me?!

TwilightSurfer · 16/04/2009 20:39

HP what a crock! You'll find something that will blow that job sky high. Promise!

Miamla I can't wait for you to start making millions with your baby things. I'll be able to say I knew her when......

No1 I'm . Sounds like you had a lovely lovely time.

Sazzles no better words here. DD1 tends to tackle Reese daily. There are screams. All normal.

I am trying to feed Reese. She's having Lasagna and an apply/blackberry fruit blend. I'm typing in between bites.

OP posts:
TwilightSurfer · 16/04/2009 20:44

Miamla I wanted to film Reese standing today. She was doing such a good job. Way to go Theo!!!

OP posts:
TwilightSurfer · 16/04/2009 20:45

Reese is liking the fruit blend more than the Lasagna.

OP posts:
TwilightSurfer · 16/04/2009 20:45

YUM! I like the fruit blend better than the lasagna too. Might have to give the lasagna to the cake.

buckets thats what I intend to do, I actually took her out to shop with me after tea and she seemed to enjoy it as I let her walk. she was sat in back of car saying
pam,no, tar, walk
meaning Pram, no, car, walk as she saw the pram in the boot.
I also made effort to get ds in bed first so could put her to bed on her own, and for the first time she said 'mammy uv ooo' (mummy love you) I know she doesnt really understand what I mean when I say dd love you, but still [welling up emoticon]

TwilightSurfer · 16/04/2009 20:48

Evening All

Had a hard session at the trainer this afternoon - he made me RUN around town which is all hills, then he tortured me some more just for the fun of it - I then paid him for the torture .

Sazzles how was DD's appointment?

Miamla - the MT sounds great - Please send out some autographed pictures so we can say we knew you before you had millions!

Hooter - Horrid news about the job.

I just can't do ITNG it seems a little too out there for me but then again I am not a great telly person anyway.

DS1 is doing fantastically Buckets, he seems to be coming along amazingly - do you think DS2 has anything to do with it?

No1 How great to hav a break - I agreethat if DH is happy to have DS maybe you and DD can have a special girls day out - swimming or for cake.

TS your description of wifely duty is exactly the same as DH's. DD ate fish pie for dinner then apple and cinnamon then some of my sausage hotpot.

TwilightSurfer · 16/04/2009 21:00

to add to my hormonal misery my cousin emailed early to announce the addition of yet another family member, A BOY 7lbs 10oz!! Christopher Luke!!

oopsacoconut · 16/04/2009 21:01

TS - does cake eat lasagne?

TwilightSurfer · 16/04/2009 21:01

Can all hear Reese's grumble and scream?

OP posts:
oopsacoconut · 16/04/2009 21:03

She knows you are feeling broody and is trying to persuade you it's a BAD idea!

oopsacoconut · 16/04/2009 21:04

ooh - DD was 7lb 10oz all snuffley and sniffable.

TwilightSurfer · 16/04/2009 21:04

I think you might need a lie down in a nice, quiet, dark room TS

pertelote · 16/04/2009 21:13

Sorry TS Congrats on the new arrival though - first cousin once removed for you?

No1 that is adorable!

Oops how do you have so much energy?! Hope you had a good lunch between the fast/blood test and the run! DD isn't the only one who deserves fish pie AND sausage hotpot! (Sounds yummy.)

It's a month today since we brought DD home from hospital Seeing the cardiologist tomorrow for her first check-up.

oopsacoconut · 16/04/2009 21:23

Pertelote - I don't have any energy - I go in yawning and come out slightly perkier due to happy hormones (apparently) BUT he is the man we credit with getting pregnant with DD ( NO not like that before you even think it Dizzy!) so am relying on him again the meds seem to work better when I am slimmer and fitter. I can't believe it's been a month already since DD's op, hope all goes well tomorrow.
