We could leave a skype call open all evening so that you can join in conversation!

Phoenix · 14/03/2009 11:14

Trifle made . It's not brilliant cos the custard went wrong and hasn't set very well. It's not in a glass dish either (cos i can't find the big one we had) so i can't see what the layers look like but it'll do. If it gets there in one piece that is

I'm going to be setting off around 12-12.30 so be there around 3.

EachPeachPearMum · 14/03/2009 11:39

Oh- garage please!!!

EachPeachPearMum · 14/03/2009 11:43

erm- it's not likely to be 2pm...
am feeding ds, changing him then setting off- but have to get petrol and baguettes.

Jas · 14/03/2009 11:44

Aresnal have a home match. NT GD NEWS FR MY EARLY TRAVEL PLANS. I am leaving here soon to try and make up the time I will lose due to traffic.

Frizbe · 14/03/2009 12:35

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/03/2009 14:26

mrm is here. Let the party start .

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/03/2009 16:21

All here .

(Updates to make you feel part of it flame)

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2009 16:56

Lol or to rub it in Hope the trifle is good

I am taking my medication and my bowl and spending the night at my mum's, so there .

MRM - I do need an essay length email btw as you were meant to be talking to me lots about everything that has been going on.

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/03/2009 18:16

Jas and I have spent hours making pizza whilst the others sat chatting. Jas now moved on to making garlic bread.

Flamesparrow · 14/03/2009 18:42

Give them a slap

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/03/2009 11:31

All gone now. Jas left her shoes behind and had to go and pay for petrol in her slippers .

Thanks for coming everyone. I had a lovely time .

Jas · 15/03/2009 11:43

Please keep the shes....I would like them back eventually (but not enough to risk coming back and running out of petrol when I realised!)

Mrm dropped off - very close to my house- and I was back for 10.30

Thanks for a lovely night csws (and everyone else) sorry for rushing off this morning.

Flamesparrow · 15/03/2009 12:52

Sorry I couldn't make it. I am plotting to make you all agree to another summer one.

That trifle looked gorgeous. @ triv being too hard though, would have been crap at the 80s one.

Jas · 15/03/2009 13:33

Twas us insisted on the 80s one and then lost. Phoenix was busy being born in the 80s and still got questions right.

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/03/2009 13:37

It was so gorgeous that one person ate a bowl of it for breakfast! Will leave it to the person in question to confess .

EachPeachPearMum · 15/03/2009 13:57

Just got in!
Trifle was fab... had more for breakfast yummy

oh- just read csws's post... erm- no prizes for guessing then Flame!

Ds demanded more milk at Newport Pagnell, but then slept the whole way home
No idea where DH and DD are... I'm guessing their foraging for something for dinner...

Thanks for a lovely evening- I'm so sorry csws and Jas ended up doing all the food prep... but it was gorgeous, and so nice not to have to do anything. Was pretty fab not being woken up by dd this morning, and having a lie-in too.

I did wave to mrm and Jas as they left, but they didn't see me upstairs.

Frizbe · 15/03/2009 14:06

Do I get brownie points for chopping salad

Am back, Phoenix and I played tag until J26 when I left her to it Hope you got home ok Phoenix?

Was lovely to see everyone again and meet EPPM finally had a great time. Have just eaten trifle for lunch Thanks very much for putting up with us CSWS and family.

Dd1 and 2 are demanding they come with me next time, as they want to see the playhouse/play in it I got back to them both having lovely platted bunches, couresty of our bbsitter and photos of them having picnic lunch in the garden on dd2's new tea set How cute!

I suppose I should go and buy fruit to test the juicer out now....not sure if I can be bothered with Sainsbos.

Phoenix · 15/03/2009 14:20

I'm home

Friz i lost you for a while at J24, couldn't see you anywhere in the distance, so thought you'd gone off there so i didn't click on straight away that it was you at J26.

Thanks to everyone for a lovely time and lovely food . Missed you Flame

Thank you for the baby clothes csws, they're lovely. When Lewis saw them he said 'has Nona been at your friends too' (Nona is Noah which is what i'm calling this baby even if dh isn't fully convinced yet )

Phoenix · 15/03/2009 14:21

Oh and i only got 1 triv question which really wasn't that difficult .

EachPeachPearMum · 15/03/2009 14:23

Oh bless, Phoenix... wonder where he thinks you leave Nona...?

Flamesparrow · 15/03/2009 14:35

Mmmmmmmmm I could eat trifle for breakfast.

and lunch.

and dinner.

Phoenix · 15/03/2009 14:38

Ungrateful git dh looked at the amount of trifle i brought home for him and said 'well i wouldn't of bothered. You may as well have binned in and washed the bowl' If i'd have known that i'd have taken mrcsws's suggestion and ate it on the way home

Flamesparrow · 15/03/2009 14:40

I would've done that anyway

(Getting the impression I like trifle?? )

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/03/2009 14:54

I thought it was quite a generous portion!
