Fairy, that's shit. Poor you . Hope your friends and rellies can rally round and help you get sorted on time.

FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 19:41

I've emailed my mobile number to TB, so she can text me with any news. I promise I'll come and post it straight away

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 17/12/2008 19:43

brill fairy, we were concerned that she would disapear when she has her bundles
sorry you are feeling rough, it must be something to do with moving, ive got a UTI myself. possibly the stress making us run down?

Sputnik · 17/12/2008 19:43

Now you've made me think I might never hear my 2 singing carols. I suppose they have xmas songs in Italian, but it wouldn't be the same. Oh well, it'll save on tissues I suppose.

I know exactly what you mean about needing a bit of time Foxy, last 3 days DS had a late nap so was up til we went to bed, it's a real pita. Today he had a nap in the morning, so was totaly grumpy by 6, and went to bed early after I just about managed to give him his tea. But Im free!

FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 19:43

Thanks Jammy, I'm sure it'll get done - actually no it WILL get done, because it has to! I'm mostly upset about it because I wanted to be so organised and pack things how and where I wanted them packed, etc. I know things will get done, and done fine, just not quite my way. It's really my inner control-freak that isn't coping very well

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 17/12/2008 19:44

lmao fairy im the same, i like everything in set boxes and labels clearly. i like to be able to pick any item and know exactly what box it is in

FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 19:45

[grn] Natty, glad I'm not the only anal mover [frin]

FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 19:46

gah!

FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 19:47

Quick tecchy question - I have changed to firefox because of the internet explorer thing and various applications keep asking me to ugrade my FlashPlayer. I have the latest version, in which case it tells me to "ensure javascript is enabled within your broswer". I can't work out how to do that. Can anyone tell me what I need to do? It's not urgent but otherwise I may never again be able to play facebook Scrabble and have to admit that Daisy is much better at it than me

Sputnik · 17/12/2008 20:06

Go under tools then options then content and check "enable javascript"

Ohforfoxsake · 17/12/2008 20:07

No idea Fairy.

I think coughing up a lung a bit extreme, but nonetheless a worthy diversion from packing I'm with the Anal Moving Brigade too.

Oo-eeer Missus!

My theory that shit sleep in the day = shit night has been proved. LO went off like a dream and is sleeping soundly, and had a 3 hour nap today.

I am saved, if not very restricted.

FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 20:09

Oh I do hope so Foxy, he had 3 hour nap today and has gone to bed fine, aided by some capol Night. I really could do with a full night's sleep. Dh has said he'll deal with him but I'll still end up lying there awake while he does so.

Ohforfoxsake · 17/12/2008 20:29

I can hear coughing - pleeeease don't wake up ...

I need to go and start wrapping. Didn't get it done earlier (thanks MN )

TheTwelveDAISYofChristmas · 17/12/2008 20:31

fairy, I think we are pretty evenly matched at scrabble as you beat me on a regualr basis. sorry you're feeling so crap and hope the move goes well.

Tallulah....my mobile number is still the same

ha....good sleep in the day means good sleep at night my arse!! I bloody well wish. DD is sleeping very badly at the minute; not being awake, just unsettled. I think F may be disturbing everyone. Anyhoo, she had a good nap yesterday and had her worst night last night. I hear her chuntering away to herself when I'm up feeding him.

Here's a silly question. Do you think the amount of chocolate I'm eating is making my milk extra calorific? There has to be some reason why this poorly latched colicky baby is doing so well!

OP posts:
NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 17/12/2008 20:32

i havent wrapped any of mine and have been trying to sumon the energy to go and make noodles.. as im starving (as per!)

TheTwelveDAISYofChristmas · 17/12/2008 20:33

Oops I should have said sorry about the sleep issues foxy

I am of the "open the car sunroof, tip it all in and stir" school of packing

OP posts:
FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 20:37

PMSL at the sunroof style of packing. It might just come to that

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 17/12/2008 20:40

lol daisy.
if only i could allow myself to be like that lol

Ohforfoxsake · 17/12/2008 20:41

don't disprove my theory! I'm clinging on to it

Sputnik · 17/12/2008 20:42

Fairy did you see my answer to your tech question?
Daisy, my DD was colicky and grumpy but grew really well.

FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 20:43

Sorry Sputnik, I missed it , thanks.

Ohforfoxsake · 17/12/2008 20:43

chocolate made mine windy.

they got used to it.

bollocks. she is singing. bang goes my theory. she obviously thinks she's had her nap.

arse.
arse.
arse.

looks like I'm off then!

FestiveFairyFay · 17/12/2008 20:44

Damn, have just tried it and that box is already ticked. Maybe I haven't got the latest version after all. Will go and try installing it again.

TheTwelveDAISYofChristmas · 17/12/2008 20:55

fairy, try posting in geeky stuff or whatever it's called. I got lots of help with some issue or other that I had a while ago.

Am off to express for next feed and then I'm off to bed.

tomorrow lovelies

hope you both feel more human tomorrow natty and fairy.

TALLULAHBELLE · 17/12/2008 21:05

OK I have Fairy & Daisy's nos so will be able to keep everyone posted.

Had scan & check up yesterday. Both bubs growing well but no2 still breech. Didn't see consultant as she was in theatre so saw new doc who just told me to come back for next check in 2 weeks. Which is the day consultant wanted me induced so looks like have escaped that - for a wee while longer at least. Can't remember but was anyone on here induced? Any advice/ experience to share.
