I'm back to pre preg weight and size, BUT have a big overhang of the belly just above CS scar. Will sort it after christmas, too much like hard work for now.

Last christmas day my aunty was bugging DP saying that my mum wanted grandkids. We put her off all day. DS was made boxing day I think

ChristmasFlower · 03/12/2008 17:11

checking name, can't find anything better sorry, only in Italian....

was size 6, looking fwd to wearing my xmas present (very very high heels...) which were only worn on xmas day as after I found out I was pg I was too paranoid I'd fall...

carrie I use bumhuggers with airflow or new real easy by hip hip baby (only had leaks with disposables)

DebitheScot · 03/12/2008 17:11

I'm about a 12 which is pretty much what I was this time last year. Only real difference is my tummy is a bit flabby, I'd just about got it nicely toned up by last winter with running. Still haven't been running yet since ds2 was born but keep meaning to. Hey it's the thought that counts isn't it?

Can't think of a festive name either.

ninjinglebells · 03/12/2008 17:15

Sass I hope katie's better soon - I am dreading T's first illness!

I use bamboozles, which soak through about 50% of the time, but it's more down to the crap wrap (hoping for good advice from Lollipop and Sunflower tomorrow when I meet them!). Also, T is completely unconcerned by soaking through, so I just change his clothes and continue on my way!

ILikeToHoHoHo · 03/12/2008 19:04

DS2 was conceived on my birthday .

I can get in my pre-pregnancy clothes but my shape is defo different. I have a really bad jelly belly and no waist. It's the no waist bit that is the biggest disaster as I feel like I have no shape. Once christmas is out of the way I think I'll start swimming in the evenings - oh joy!

TheHopefullyAndTheIvy · 03/12/2008 19:04

Oh, and you inspired me with your suggestions!

StarlightWonderStarlightBright · 03/12/2008 19:05

Lovely Hopefully

ILikeToHoHoHo · 03/12/2008 19:14

starlight - I just saw your comment on a weaning thread about people saying 'oh you'll be weaning soon then'. It made me laugh as that is exactly what my mum says to me and it drives me crazy. Even though DS2 is a big boy I will still only be weaning as close to 26 weeks as I can, people seem to think that because he is big he will have to wean early. I mean just looking at him you can tell he's far to young to wean, he is so wee (well he is too me, no doubt he looks like a giant compared to the petite little things that some people have )

Sassyfrassy · 03/12/2008 19:15

Katie seems a bit better this afternoon and has eaten a bit more for which I and my now huge boobs are grateful.

I was on the phone with my friend and her two month old twins are in hospital now with their cough, one of them being fed through the nose and both getting extra oxygen. I felt so sorry for her, it's so horrid when the little ones are ill and being in hospital is even worse.

This time last year DH was made redundant and I got a great short term contract at a school I thought I'd hate but ended up loving. We had just decided to try for another baby and dh was hoping it would take a year, no such luck for him =)

StarlightWonderStarlightBright · 03/12/2008 19:26

I'm loving these last year stories!

plusoneFoggyChristmasEve · 03/12/2008 19:44

this time last year...TTC like many of you, had BFN on Christmas day when AF turned up- happy christmas...not. Obviously the next month was rather more successful!

LittleDonkeyCarrieMary · 03/12/2008 19:47

I'm loving the names, and the nappy suggestions! Its been weeks I tell you since I last bought any washable nappies and now I have an excuse and recommendations. Happy Christmas me!

ChristmasFlower · 03/12/2008 19:54

hopefully - looking fwd to meeting you two tomorrow!!

dd was concieved when I thought "oops, need to get going tonight as we might miss the boat this month, probably already have" and following night went out for annual xmas cocktails (I made sure I had a few hoping it would be last time for a while) with ex-colleagues who kept on asking when #2 was going to come !

LittleDonkeyCarrieMary · 03/12/2008 19:56

I remember driving down to my parents on 22nd Dec last year and AF had just arrived and I was utterly miserable and vowed to drink quite a lot. Conceived around 5th Jan when we got home from our 2 weeks away.

DebiTheScotUpAChimney · 03/12/2008 20:42

How's this for a good name? I thought of it all by myself

(thanks starlight)

digitalgirl · 03/12/2008 20:44

wow - great find starlight brings back all those memories of temp taking, peeing on sticks and knicker-checking! I can't believe how much I threw myself into TTCing, I was like a woman possessed! And now I have a little baby to cuddle and snuggle, just like I'd hoped for.

Soon there'll be a 'due in sep 09' ante-natal thread and I'll have to drop in and tell them how exciting it all was last January to get a BFP.

diginglebells · 03/12/2008 20:56

have joined in with the festive namechange

ninjinglebells · 03/12/2008 21:19

Carrie - I love my Teddie nappies, they're REALLY soft, I'd recommend looking out for some.
