CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2009 22:43

Not with me around it won't .

EachPeachPearMum · 11/01/2009 22:50

non-dairy thing was for friend I am visiting tomorrow- so more something I can pick up on the way to her house!
What do you use in flapjack instead of butter to make it dairy free? and is it bleeuurrrghhhh?

Am getting v waddly- he has dropped further today, which makes him 4/5 or 5/5 engaged... don't think it will be long now...eek

EachPeachPearMum · 11/01/2009 22:50

Oh, and it was my birthday, so now I definitely won't have 2 DC by 35

Jas · 11/01/2009 22:52

Don't just disappear when he comes EPPM...you have to let us know!

If you can't get online, send a text

I make flapjack using dairy free marg, and it is fine....I've used Vitalite for years and it is still dairy free but the recipe has changed. I may make some this week to test....

Jas · 11/01/2009 22:53

When was your birthday??
Today?

Jas · 11/01/2009 22:54

Hapy birthday, just in case

You will have 2 by 36, and sharing your birthday with one of your children isn't good imo anyway.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/01/2009 22:58

It was today, yes.
I will text CSWS probably, and she can post details.
Don't know how often I will get on here though- DD's first few weeks were one hell of a crazy blur, and I didn't know mn then!

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2009 23:00

Happy Birthday!

Friend got me a bar of 'divine' dark choc the other week (from Tesco), and I can confirm that it is divine!

Glad you said that the vitalite recipe has changed Jas, as I could have sworn that it had soya in it when I was dairy free last time, but it doesn't any more.

Remind me again EPPM - is it 21st you are due?

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2009 23:01

Somehow you just make time EPPM. Breastfeed in front of a laptop!

EachPeachPearMum · 11/01/2009 23:03

yes- 21st (spreadsheet again? or incredible memory? )
I don;t like using wireless with the DC around so would have to bf downstairs....

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/01/2009 23:10

Incredible memory .

Right, bedtime. This is v late for me, but was doing chores til 10:15. Could be a bad night too - ds appears to be teething already.

EachPeachPearMum · 11/01/2009 23:14

already? v early...
bedtime for me too.
Its forscast snow on friday here- so maybe he'll decide to come then when it's really convenient?

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/01/2009 08:07

Well if the huge amounts of dribble, fist chewing and screaming requiring calpol are anything to go by, then yes. Who knows how long it will be before we actually see a tooth though .

mustrunmore · 12/01/2009 08:39

Ah, happy birthday
Jas is Connop Road EN3 enough to go by on your satnav? Tried to find a road sign when got there yest Thanks for comments on other thread...

VampiresWalkin · 12/01/2009 09:17

Ooh Happy Birthday and for impending childbirth (so much easier to be excited when it isn't you doing it isn't it?)

Can you believe DH's work actually got arsey with him for not going in today - I cannot lift our child! I should be ok for tomorrow or Weds at the latest, but today, there is no way I can be left in charge of him, esp with school runs etc when I can't get him in and out of the car even if he is co-operating.

mustrunmore · 12/01/2009 09:50

I wish I could come and help you. But then I'd have to leave these two to fend for themselves

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/01/2009 10:05

Dh's work annoying me today too flame, as they've just said that he has to go to Dublin tomorrow-Thurs. Extra because our Tesco shop will be arriving any time now containing food for 3 not 2.

for being that ropey.

EachPeachPearMum · 12/01/2009 11:26

Oh Flame- sorry you are in pain. My back feels much better today tbh, little stiff thats all. I actually slept flat on my back for a wee while last night which really helped... not sure I should have, but my legs weren't numb or anything.
Wind was really howly last night so DD woke loads... but at least it gave me loo breaks!

DH has now gone down with a virus great.

VampiresWalkin · 12/01/2009 11:31

Ooh that would piss me off too CSWS

Glad your back is feeling better EPPM

I am all worked up and keep getting stupidly panicked and tearful about everything today. Not helped by the codeine stopping the pain, but gives me nightmares so I don't sleep properly. Plus I keep feeling stupid because things that would be perfectly logical and reasonable to me normally are seeming completely out of my control.

Body functioning-wise I should be fine with dude etc by Weds, just need some decent sleep so my brain co-operates.

VampiresWalkin · 12/01/2009 17:01

ggggggggggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr every other bloody company to do with this claim has phone lines open until at least 6, more often 8pm.

The actual insurers shut their line at 5 which means I have to wait til tomorrow to find out why my car is still sat outside my house.

oh Jas, posted your stuff this morning. I had sealed it all when i realised you gave me far too many stamps, so will bring the rest to Tabs'

EachPeachPearMum · 12/01/2009 17:09

huh- Flame- the company supposed to be dealing with mine were supposed to ring within 3 hours on saturday- they rang this morning as I was driving back from the supermarket- I told them to ring me back as I was driving, and I haven't heard anything since...

Would anyone be offended if I brought some clothes to the meet-up to offer to anyone who wanted them? They are in perfect condition, but just don't suit me or fit me etc- and are 'too good' to send to charity shop
(This is providing I can actually remember where they are, and to bring them by then of course!)

mustrunmore · 12/01/2009 17:15

Me me me I love free stuff What size though?

Jas · 12/01/2009 17:20

Me too But I know bottom half stuff would be no good for me. Bring it all and we'll have a look!

Flame - thankyou. the dds will be very happy The stamps were for you....i got them free thanks to a link on mn a while ago but it is taking me ages to use them.

Frizbe - not forgotten the juicer. I'm still looking for a big/strong enough box.

VampiresWalkin · 12/01/2009 17:24

Another one always up for free stuff

Thank you Jas They have about 40 odd games each (I don't think I doubled, but there may be one or two), and can fit loads more but the rest I was having problems deciding if they would like them or not iyswim.

Yup EPPM - they were supposed to call me within 24 hours, this was last Thursday . Thankfully they haven't been the same with the courtesy car.

EachPeachPearMum · 12/01/2009 19:19

They are size 8/10/12- mostly 10 I think. Things that were more impulse buys that actually were too long for me, or don't suit my colouring (back in the days before children when I actually did things like go shopping, and buy things!)
There are a couple of things which are just gorgeous, but I have such a short back my norks are just too exposed...- whilst they are nice as norks go... I'm a bit too old to be flashing them around so much these days
There is a nice long black velvet skirt, which I never wear, as I only ever wear trousers these days, a scarlet top, and I can't remember what else- will have a rummage.
