Oh Gawd POTC; you've set me off again! Lovely thread title and so true.

Off to bed soon too. Am knackered.

Thank you lovely ladies for your support; I would be lost without you. xx

runnyhabbit · 20/10/2008 21:36

Potc - couldn't have put it better myself

Sol - Sorry to hear about your mum. But at least they should be able to give here some strong pain relief until they know what they're dealing with. Awful for you all at anytime, but this week esp x

NorthernLurker · 20/10/2008 22:18

Nice thread title

SOL - will be thinking of you tomorrow - hope you get some answers.

elkiedee · 20/10/2008 22:31

SOL, sorry to hear about your mum.

oooggs · 21/10/2008 09:40

morning

sol thinking of you today and my problems seem very trivial since I have switched pc on

Erin in out bed 10.45pm - 3.45am
Jack screaming 4.30am - eventually settled in travel cot at 5.30am

rushed to get sorted for school so we could walk, trying to push double pushchair and it won't budge - flat tyre

can't get dust cap off to pump it up so unload pushchair and chuck everyone in the car.

At school, Erin in single pushchair (the new one for the baby) Jack walking and me seething

I have jsut got the cap off with a pair of pliers and pumped it up and it has gone flat instantly

Tuesdays I use it all day, now having to use the car but with two walking in different directions it is a nightmare with a toddler group this morning and another this afternoon

told you it was trivial

SharpMolarBear · 21/10/2008 10:29

Just poppping in and to see if any news from SOL
oooggs you night sounds dreadful! Are you back at work now as well??

AngeG · 21/10/2008 11:27

What a lovely title POTC you soppy thing

SOl- Sorry about your Mum hope you get some positive news today. x

Oooggs - What a horrible night and start to the day for you. Hope it's getting better.

Hello SMB, Elkie, NL and Runny.

Started to get a bit stressed today. We're off to see the inlaws in Spain next week. While it will be nice to get away I'm stressing that it will be as bad as last year or possibly worse.

I'm decorating the house this weekend...I think I must be mad just before we go away but my Mum and Dad have got DC all weekend and I want to make the most of it!

CaptainDippy · 21/10/2008 11:37

Good for you Ange Spain will be fine I am sure, will be so good to get away

Oh, oooggs - you cope so amazingly well, I am of you Hope today gets easier for you. xx

Any word on your mum today SOL? and prayers.

Awwww to the thread title POTC -you soppy thing

Not feeling great today, just trying to stay focussed and possitive and get on with it ...

SharpMolarBear · 21/10/2008 11:38

How's the explosive bottomed family?
Sorry you're not well - same as yesterday?
Ange, hope spain is OK

liath · 21/10/2008 12:02

Thinking of you, SOL. Hope your mum had a good night.

Poor Dippy - are bottoms still exploding? DH is laid up upstairs with diarrhoea too, poor sod.

Hope Spain goes well, Ange.

Bramshott · 21/10/2008 12:09

Popping by - back later. Oooggs - will email you. xxx

oooggs · 21/10/2008 12:19

had cake at toddlers so feel a bit better

dippy what in the world is there to be of???????????

katy - yes I'm back at work (weds, thur&fri) so tomorrow should be interesting, instead of getting to nursery before 7.30am I have to do the school run then to nursery then to work by 9.30am then I have to stay til 2.50pm to do my hours, back to the next county to pick up James by 3.15pm, home sort tea then back to get dts about 4.30pm - its only until 18th Dec and I only do this everyother week as dh takes ds1 to school when he is on backshift

It is only a nightmare as dts still very little and don't walk far or they need carrying and I can't carry 2 at 6mths pg

I am not complaining, just setting it out

All mummy wants for Christmas is a silent night

sorry I used the 'C' word

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/10/2008 12:24

The C word is banned until Dec 1st at least in our house.

J not sleeping, it's like he's on uppers . I can't send him to nursery like this so we're out and about instead, venturing far too close to Norfolk for my liking , trying to tire him out.

cazboldy · 21/10/2008 13:56

Come on POTC - come over to the dark side (it's not that bad you know)

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/10/2008 17:18

It so is, for a start they all speak funny , and those farmers, well, words can't describe them

(For those of you who have no idea wtf I'm wittering on about, Norfolk is where Caz lives but only just and it borders onto Suffolk where I live. HUGE rivalry between the 2!)

Have been an alpha mummy since school kick-out. We have made Orange jelly with orange juice and pieces, Strawberry jelly with strawberries in, and chocolate cakes are about to come out of the oven

Not sure what's come over me

SharpMolarBear · 21/10/2008 17:31

CaptainDippy · 21/10/2008 17:34

POTC

AngeG · 21/10/2008 17:37

Are you sure you're not ill POTC?

SMB. Hope he's better soon.

Hello Dippy - How are you all today?

CaptainDippy · 21/10/2008 17:39

OK in DippyLand, just tired -what's new!!? Sigh. Gotta to go & find my children

PillockOfTheCommunity · 21/10/2008 18:42

I think I might be Ange

OP posts:
SharpMolarBear · 21/10/2008 20:35

no-one around?

elkiedee · 21/10/2008 20:36

LOL at the Norfolk insults - dp was actually brought up on the Cambridgeshire side of the border but Kings Lynn was the nearest town of any size and was where he went to secondary school/college etc. And his mum is Norfolk born and bred and the residential home she now lives in is in the village she grew up in.

POTC, what's the illness? Domestic Goddess-itis?

Had the day off today to try and progress clearing out D's bedroom so we can move him in there. Spent it clearing up some of the other mess and chaos instead.

SharpMolarBear · 21/10/2008 20:55

hi elkie

elkiedee · 21/10/2008 20:56
