Whoops!

elkiedee · 03/11/2008 12:09

Moggy update, she's home but isn't meant to go out and can't physically get through cat flap at moment as she has a drain on her leg etc, so we're probably going to have to have litter tray inside again... ick. And that means D will have to be kept out of the kitchen when he gets home. She has to back for a visit on Thursday, thankfully our friend has offered dp another lift.

Hope the theatre is fun Dippy, is the production local to you?

oooggs · 03/11/2008 12:11

BOLLOCKS (sorry )

I have laringitus & a chest infection arggghhhhhhhh

Bramshott · 03/11/2008 12:14

Morning! Finally caught up, whilst doing my Ocado shopping in the other browser window.

SOL - sorry your mum has had a setback, but hoping it's only a temporary one. Glad you had a nice day with your dad.

Ooh, have fun at The Tiger Who Came to Tea CD - I'd love to see that. Am just thinking about booking to go to panto or ballet with N at Christmas time.

Runny - re the loan, I guess it depends on whether you would plan to do the house stuff in the next year or so anyway? If so, then makes sense to get the bigger loan and better rate, but if you're just doing the house stuff in order to get the better loan rate, then better to stick with the original plan and just get the car. I am always a bit wary of people trying to sell me stuff / persuade me to borrow more though [scrooge emoticon]!

Glad the nappies arrived Oooggs. Sorry you are still feeling pants though.

Tumble drier has broken - bugger

Bramshott · 03/11/2008 12:17

Oh no Oooggs!

Glad your cat is home Elkie.

Hiya. Just a quickie as am at work.

Dippy, dh took B to see the Tiger who came to tea last week, and they absolutely loved it!!!

Elkie, your poor poor cat

Thanks for all your lovely support and encouragement and will keep you updated.

Must go. xx

StealthPolarBANG · 03/11/2008 16:54

oh no oooggs

cazboldy · 03/11/2008 17:03

Oh dear Oooggs - have you got AB's?

runnyhabbit · 03/11/2008 18:17

oooggs - you poor thing. Hope you've got something strong to clear it up.

sol - thinking of you all x

Ok - safety gate/dg issue. Tbh, I think he thinks W is at the same development as J, ie he knows that you have to be careful around stairs. And I'm definately probably a bit paranoid after J fell down them when he was 2.

As for the loan. We had always planned to do the building works some time next year, and we were going to add the building costs to the mortgage. (mortgage due for renewal next summer) So it was something we's always planned to do. I trust our fa very much (he saved us over £150 per month last time we remortgaged) If he ripped us off, he'd lose too much business (he deals with my parents, hairdresser, and quite a few friends)
Just get very big fluttery butterflies when "big" things happen.

Although, it could all be taken out of our hands - my work have announced another set of redundancies Should know by Wednesday if my job is at risk. Pants.

CaptainDippy · 03/11/2008 19:30

Hope your job is safe RH. xx

Oh no oooggs Rubbish!! Have you got drugs to take? Hope you are better soon, you really don't need this right now

Glad your cat is home Elkie - hope he/she#s 100% better soon and you can get the litter tray outside again - ick indeed!

Sexonlegs · 03/11/2008 21:57

Evening folks.

Runny, really hope your job is safe. What a worry. I have to admit I am not great with the stairgates K is fab though, although I do 9/10 close them or make sure I am around.

Dippy, how did the theatre trip go?

Oooggs, you poor poor lamb. You are having a shocking time aren't you. xx

Elkie, how is your cat doing?

hi girls

fab news sol - step in the right direction

luce = busy nah

dippy - you seem to have a rough deal

caz - how's the nightime pony routine going?

I use a stair gate at night as the children are upstairs and we are downstairs so they can't get to us don't fall in disorination

I also use them to make the front room into a play pen - let me tell you it is totally different with two of them running about

cazboldy · 04/11/2008 13:15

hard to say Oooggs, as we aren't riding him atm - his foot is atill a little bruised...... I have been nipping out on my own to do them at lunchtime while dh is here!

CaptainDippy · 04/11/2008 19:14

Evening all DH away, girls tucked up in bed asleep & I am already in my PJs

StealthPolarBANG · 04/11/2008 19:15

hi all

NorthernLurker · 04/11/2008 19:18

hello - just about to put my girls to bed so will be back in a bit. Can I just say that I've noticed that March 07 have a thread title about not being babies anymore and if anyone thinks of doing such a thing here I will flounce like you've never seen flouncing before! THEY ARE STILL BABIES

SOL - glad to hear she's out of ICU

Oooggs - hope you are feeling a bit better today

Dippy - how long is dh away for?

StealthPolarBANG · 04/11/2008 19:23

Perfect lead in for the new thread title I've been dying to use.
I know we're a couple of hundred posts away, but would anyone mind...?

CaptainDippy · 04/11/2008 19:24

Definitely still babies

Hello SMB and NL

DH only away tonight, but P was up with something or another last night, she is not 100%, so praying for no repeat preformance tonight. Mornings are uber stressful without DH around for the earlier part - bleurgh!

CaptainDippy · 04/11/2008 19:25

Do it SMB - I don't mind Sure it will be fine - I am intrigued

leakyR · 04/11/2008 19:38

Hello all

Ooogs get well soon!

CD - feel better soon!

SOL - Hope your mum is out of ICU again soon. You must be so stressed you poor love.

Runny - hope it's good news about your job.

Feel like a bit of a meanie. Had a lovely time with ILs on Sunday. FIL fixed our draughty front door and he and dh put some boards down in the loft so we can shove some junk up there.

Had a lovely evening with dh last night. Dinner at Wagamama - I ate loads! Then a couple of drinks then Steve Coogan who was very funny. It was great to have an evening to ourselves.

I haven't fainted for 6 days and the sickness is improving.

My dad is being an arse atm. I'm not going into detail as it stresses me out.

Right off for an early night. I was up atleast 3 hours after my bedtime last night
