Hello everyone

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
PillockOfTheCommunity · 15/04/2008 18:46

I'm ok, feeling a bit drained, think I'm coming down with a cold and that means my body stops fighting the narcolepsy and just sleeps

I went to the doc today and got myself back on the pill, no pg scares for me

I have too many men

StealthPolarBear · 15/04/2008 18:48

anyway, going to type stuff about T in the hope when I'm done she will be back

He was sick this morning, but not after a feed before work, and so far he's not been sick since, although there's been more diarrhoea. Mum took him to the docs with a determination not to be fobbed off, they checked him over again, and have samples, and as we expected, said it was the tail end of the virus, and just to let it run its course.
Interesting about dairy, he's definitely OK with it normally (it just feels like he's been ill forever!) but maybe as a temporary thing, I don't know. Problem is he refuses all milk when I'm at work, i work 9 hour days so ideally I'd like to be getting more dairy into him! Might be worth trying though if it's going to make him better, just means he'll have no yoghurts etc through the day, does that matter?

Too many men? Interesting......you're not off the hook though Octo!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 15/04/2008 18:49

you can give him dairy free alternatives SPB, which have added calcium

PillockOfTheCommunity · 15/04/2008 18:50

and yes, it is interesting, and fun, but also muddling, and troublesome

NorthernLurker · 15/04/2008 18:50

SPB - if he's not absorbing it properly then it's not doing him any good anyway is it iyswim? I wouldn't bother about that for a bit and just try to get his system stable again. You could try something like baked custard or rice pudding if you feel you should - might break down easier than milk which is 'raw' as it were?

StealthPolarBear · 15/04/2008 18:52

yes good point about him not absorbing it

My boys are better with things like cheese than they are milk

Octothechildherder · 15/04/2008 18:53

Sorry - potc texting me, sainsburys on phone trying to sell me stuff, ernie screaming to go to bed .....

So, I pee'd on the stick and nothing happened - it didn;t soak up the stick FFS Luckily there are two, so am now waiting for next pee - this time I am going to do it in a pot and hold stick in it! It says it must be for 6 secs - so is that like 1 elephant, 2 elephant???

NorthernLurker · 15/04/2008 18:55

Aha - we will be waiting then Octo! Do you feel pregnant at all? And any idea when you wil be able to 'go' again - no pressure you understand

Octothechildherder · 15/04/2008 18:55

Am going to have a glass of wine just in case its my last

Octothechildherder · 15/04/2008 18:56

Jordan like boobs, no period since errr december, but do have a mirena fitted - says your periods can stop but people also say you can get pg on it!

NorthernLurker · 15/04/2008 18:59

Personal question alert - is the coil definately still in situ?

And regarding the wine - that's good - take on plenty of fluid

Octothechildherder · 15/04/2008 19:00

there are def two threads - I have a tilted uterus so maybe its not in the right place??? My sister has one and her periods have stopped too.

StealthPolarBear · 15/04/2008 19:01

ooh octo - don't you dare disappear on us again
Don't have the wine, it's dehydrating!
Thanks Pillock, might look into some of the soya stuff and then wean him back on slowly!

NorthernLurker · 15/04/2008 19:02

PillockOfTheCommunity · 15/04/2008 19:02
