Vino - cool. No probs, will look out for your email. x
LAL - good news that your DS can swim!

Afternoon, have bought the playhouse managed to find it at local independent place so its a bit smaller than Tesco one but was only £130 Dad is coming at the weekend he is laying a slab area for it (he has to do everything properly!) and then making the house up and eventually he'll make her a little patio area outside of it.

We've been to Dunelim Mill today to pick curtain material and let Ellie loose in the remnant section so have 2.5metres of teal blue with pink flowers for £1.99, my Mum going to make curtains for all teh windows and the door plus a tablecloth as her play table will go in there. My dad is going to build her a storage area with a worktop and shelves and if tehre is enough material Mum will make little drapes to fit under worktop and hide stuff in there. Also got a small windowbox to attach to it Ellie wants to paint the front door pink not sure DH will approve of that though!!

Hi all.

Lal been lurking, but sadly I have nothing to say.

Eah loved all the play houses. Glad you've got one (my fav was the Wilkinson one btw!). You will have to post pics once the girls have moved in

Vino I bet you are sooooo looking forward to the weekend!

So then, not much else to say. I've just baked some buns (get me - the new domestic goddess). LO is lovely as ever, but her hair is getting a bit wild and super curly as it grows. Have tried clips but she tries to eat them.

DH has a new game for his PS3 so that will keep him entertained this evening.

Hope all well with everyone out there (lurkers and otherwise)

Reggiee · 29/04/2008 20:19

Hello

2Happy · 29/04/2008 20:20

Devon.

Well, ok I went AWOL before we actually went to Devon, but Devon last week. How was your trip up to this neck of the woods?

eandh · 29/04/2008 20:22

plus cooker as well

eandh · 29/04/2008 20:23

2happy how are you - wheres Loosh have you hidden here?

MrsCarrot · 29/04/2008 20:25

Hi there

Have lurked a bit but often can't see you, must watch the thread more often. Everyone ok? Have skimmed but the main thing I remember if wilie being barfed over. Poor you. F did that last week in a restaurant on our wedding anniversary before the food arrived. I managed to clean us up in the loo and we took turns to hold him while other two ate their food. Luckily we had had a great night the night before in our wedding hotel so it wasn't too upsetting.

Reggiee · 29/04/2008 20:28

Devon?? Do they not have the internet in Devon

Northumberland was good ta. Catching up with friends, and had a lovely reflexology treatment and lounged around a pool in a Fawlty Towers - esqu hotel.

eah - I love the cooker thingy. It is so Ellie (she says despite not knowing the girl...)

Reggiee · 29/04/2008 20:28

Anyone else want to creep up on me and say boo?

Reggiee · 29/04/2008 20:29

How the devil are you MrsC?

2Happy · 29/04/2008 20:31

oooh, I like that eandh (and continue to hanker after having dd's...)
MrsC - how's things? What an anniversary!! And, er, is that Wilkie's new moniker?!! ds1 had the vomiting bug, then ds2, and then, on the day of the wedding we'd driven for 8 bloody hours to get to, guess who succcumed? New frock, new shoes... spent the day in jamas hugging the toilet
Keep meaning to phone Loosh but am crap (and feeling v guilty that we ended up not massively far from huddersfield visiting ds1's godparents, but ran out of time to see her and dh. Sorry Loosh. Fire me. Sob.)

MrsCarrot · 29/04/2008 20:32

Not too bad. Going in for the pre-asessment tomorrow and then having the op on Friday so I am a bit nervous.

2Happy · 29/04/2008 20:37

Eek, MrsC. Friday. D'you think they'll let you MN from a hospital bed
Reggie - there wasn't any where we stayed, which is a bugger as I could have done with MN to distract me from vomiting. Still, kept ourselves busy, went to Cornwall, went to Dartmoor, went to Diggerland (I think dh enjoyed that one the most!), and my personal favourite was Longleat. And I brought back a couple of Cornish pasties for my (Cornish) grandfather's 92nd birthday present - I'd like to say he was pleased, but he's a miserable fucker and just said his mother wouldn't have thought much of the pastry

Reggiee · 29/04/2008 20:38

Glad you're bearing up MrsC. And pmsl over "wilie being barfed over". Mature humour. Was it your first anniversary? Am sure I remember a wedding this time last year.
Talking of which, pcf - are you there? How's the final preparations going?

So 2H - is that why you went to Devon? To be sick a wedding? Did you stay there for a holiday too?

Anyone else's DH watching football and alternating that with playing Grand Theft Auto 317?

2Happy · 29/04/2008 20:40

Holy shit, did we forget MrsC's first wedding anniversary?! (Although, possibly missed UD's too )

MrsCarrot · 29/04/2008 20:41

Oh, sorry, there is a crumb under my K

Yes, it was our first one. We had a lovely night in the same hotle with champagne and jacuzzi. F came with us and came to dinner but then he went to bed and the jacuzzi was up some little stairs, sort of mezzanine so it was fab.

Dh got us cristal champagne How footballers wives is that? Was lovely though, mmm. Next bottle on the silver one maybe.

Reggiee · 29/04/2008 20:47

Sounds lovely MrsC.
It's our 5th anniversary this year, and dh is taking me to the cricket
