Runny, what a crap night last night. Hope you have a much better night tonight.

Elkie, enjoy your trip away.

POTC, have a great night out, and I hope Joe is ok.

Have uploaded some recent pics of my angel baby!

weeonion · 09/02/2008 20:22

sol - she is a dote!! love the top one where she is all squidgy. she has changed so much - a real wee girl now!

Octothechildherder · 09/02/2008 20:28

SOL - she looks enormous! Very cute

I was at a friends the other day and she said that her HV had asked her what her ds ate (same age as ours) - and she said 'oh what we have' and the HV asked for more details as they found that a mum nearby to her had been blending down MacDonalds - I should start a thread!!

oooggs · 09/02/2008 20:28

just being a little bugger sol

is K alright in that trailer thingy, we were thinking of getting one for dts, but it says from 18mths

hi wo

oooggs · 09/02/2008 20:29

octo very of your tea

Sexonlegs · 09/02/2008 20:31

Oooggs, she is absolutely fine in it; it is v secure. The girls love being in it together.

Sexonlegs · 09/02/2008 20:32

Octo, she is v long, but not 18 pounds yet bless her.

Octothechildherder · 09/02/2008 20:33

We hired one of theose a couple of years ago when we stayed in Padstow - it was a nightmare because the boys fought and bickered the whole way on our 'leisurely bike ride' NOT!

oooggs · 09/02/2008 20:37

James has a tag along bike like this as he has outgrown his seat

we are looking at getting this for dts are it converts from a trailer to a buggy, because when we get to where we are going we would have nothing to transport dts

StealthPolarBear · 09/02/2008 20:58

Lovely photos SOL!
oooggs, hope e is feeling better soon CD seems much better!
Pureed McDonalds - !!! No wonder her HV was making sure
Busy day here, I had wanted to get loads of cooking done but I didn't just one lentil loaf. That's not going to last very long when I go back to work

oooggs · 09/02/2008 20:59

when are you going back Katy - sorry if you have aid recently, where is T going?

oooggs · 09/02/2008 21:00

StealthPolarBear · 09/02/2008 21:18

I'm going back as an April Fool
Hoping to go back for slightly reduced hours crammed into 4 days - T will initially be with mum for 2 days and nursery for 2. MIL might be reducing her hours later in the year so might be able to do a day a week as well. That will probably mean I can go back FT by the time he's 2.
We're really lucky to have all this help!
You're not back yet, are you? Did you say they were all going to the same nursery?
What are you up to tonight?

oooggs · 09/02/2008 21:23

bored tonight, dh working

all going to same nursery until ds1 starts school in september, dts start 2 April and I go back 16 April

they will be doing 2.5 days each (in sept dts doing 3 days to enable me to fit in school run!!)

I only work 16 hours to save my sanity and my children

StealthPolarBear · 09/02/2008 21:25

I knew I should know that - you are on the returning to work in April thread, I'm so stupid!
What is it that you do?

oooggs · 09/02/2008 21:32

yes of course I am a civil servant and work for the Land Registry and I register new developments, basic house moves, new mortages, change of names etc

they are very very family friendly, with flexi time, good holidays, excellent onsite childcare & mat. package and they pay me (well sometimes I'm currently on nil pay)

Been in service 11 years but did have a shitty start in the CSA

Sexonlegs · 09/02/2008 21:48

Oooggs, your job sounds really interesting.

Right, off to bed and it is my turn for a lie in tomorrow - hurrah!

StealthPolarBear · 10/02/2008 07:07

Morning
Last off, first on
where was everyne last night? Is there a new thread I've missed?

Maveta · 10/02/2008 07:40

morning! hi spb! how is everyone?

Oooggs how did the rest of the night go? Poor tots.

Octo - that is totally disgusting re. macdonald´s why why WHY would anyone think of doing that?! That chicken recipe sounds nice, will have to try it. Are you enjoying the work?

Lovely photos of K, SOL

Busy busy day yesterday, went straight out in the a.m. to buy a carseat, wasted a good half hour being shown models that the woman didn´t even know anything about before finding that they actually didn´t have any in stock . Eventually found one we´re happy with stage 1/2 so will do him for ages now. And don´t feel so bad about it. Although we wouldn´t have spent the money (we don´t have) now it is an expense we would have had to shell out at some point. And then on to a day at the ILs, back home and friends over for dinner at 8pm. Phew!

Good nights all round?

CaptainDippy · 10/02/2008 07:51

Not a bad night, but woken up super early by DD2 screeeeeaming and then DD1 got up just before half 6 - I am sooooo sick of being woken up by my older 2 - DH and I are very tired and we both fed-up with horrible whingy children who scream and moan at us all day long.

Ahem. Sorry about that!

SPB - My boobs are a 32GG They are so heavy.

What are people's plans today? Perhaps I can live vicariously through your exciting lives!!?

mammyjo · 10/02/2008 07:52

SPB, CD divulged her bra size further down the thread (G cup if I remember correctly!), that is why people are commenting on her boobies! Hope you had a good night with T.

SOL, K is gorgeous! Her little smiling face made me smile, she is so cute

F slept well, but has woken up really snotty this morning. Bloody viral things, why cant they just bugger off!!

Hope everyone has had a good night. See you all later xxx
