Well I was going to start this thread saying that hopefully things have settled down for all of us, but I know they haven't for some.
We have all done really well to get this far and deserve a huge pat on the back for being such fantastic mums! (twin mums, have two pats on the back each)
I also wanted to say thank you for all the support, especially in the last week or so.
Well this is rapidly turning into an oscars acceptance speech so I'll stop there!

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 21:52

lol

although asked dh and my dad if its possible to have electric and running water, so if all gets to much, I can lock dh in it

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 21:52

don't be daft

Octo · 30/12/2007 21:53

oh yes much better plan - in fact if you get a fold down bed ... you might be able to have uninterrupted sex occasionally

WestCountryLass · 30/12/2007 21:53

No, no cream. I bathe it in cooled boiled water and do the eye/sinus massage to encourage drainage. He did have cream/anti-biotic ointment from the Drs but now use the eye drops swhen neccessary,

Octo · 30/12/2007 21:54

The eye drops are making it worse. How do you do the massage thing?

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 21:56

think I've forgotten what uninterrupted sex is

children, esp toddlers, are great method of contraception

Octo · 30/12/2007 21:57

apparently not in one house though

Sexmasonlegs · 30/12/2007 21:59

Hi Runny!

SPB, B had chicken pox when she was 8 months, and boy am I glad she had the as a baby. She was totally unaware of them even though she was covered, and as far as I recall, it didnt affect her sleep. If she had them now, we would never hear the end of it!

Hi Octo.

Octo · 30/12/2007 22:00

Do you know there is a lady in Due in Aug 2008 with a 5 month old ... people do have sex you see!

Hello SOL!

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 22:02

Dh now knows why so many of his friends put tellys in their dc bedroom

runnyhabbit · 30/12/2007 22:02

hi sol

how are you feeling now?

WestCountryLass · 30/12/2007 22:02

Start at outside corners of mouth and run fingers firmly up side of nose to corners of eyes, then go down at a 45 angle ish to check bones and then follow the cheekbones up and over the ears. Do that as much as poss. You can also massage from the outside of the eye inwards in the direction the tear duct flows to clear blockage.

I found the ointment difficult to get in the right place as he sort of blinked it out, is there another drop they can pres with diff ingredients?

Octo · 30/12/2007 22:04

The first one rhei something or other he had an allergic reaction to - he now has fusidic acid one (fucithalmic) but not good - am going to ring docs again tomorrow.

Octo · 30/12/2007 22:04

Thanks for that btw - will try in morning.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 30/12/2007 22:09

do i need to email runny and elkie too?????

WestCountryLass · 30/12/2007 22:10

Oh yes, and don't over do the bathing thing as that makes them sore too, do it before the drops/ointment and only inbetween the eye is getting stuck together

I'm not sure what drops we've got as i've left them in Spain and his eyes are clear at the mo.

AngeG · 30/12/2007 22:11

Hello everyone

Busy on here tonight!

PMSL at clique of people working out who NGT is.

NGT - Let us know how you get on tomorrow, thinking of you xx

Sexmasonlegs · 30/12/2007 22:11

Feeling ok thanks Runny - not 100% but not as bad as have been.

Dippy, poor dh. I coughed up some blood a couple of weeks ago - it totally freaked me out. Spoke to the docs about it and she just asked if I had my BCG jab for TB to rule that out. Hope he is ok.
