she was born at 11.43am by c-section - she was 10 days late. The peeps at the hospital told me they thought she was going to be 10.5 - 11 pounds, but she was 9.

Cheers for chatting to me - merry christmas to everyone

fpesha · 20/12/2007 15:57

Ahem Dippy why the wink??

I am irresistably gorgeous, no winking required. (thats a stern face btw, just pretend its not green)

I am allowed to wink obviously.

Hey all

Has IMBM gone of shopping??

Hi EB and welcome to the loveliest thread here!

Well, we went to the farm, even tho I think K probably has a bit of a bug. But we were out in the cold, so highly unikely to pass anything on.

Better go, as she is crying.

Its H btw, Charlies mum.

Great to see you.

elkiedee · 20/12/2007 17:15

Welcome Ellesbelles from another "elderly prima gravidas" - that's the phrase those lovely doctors used to describe me. My baby was due in April but didn't turn up until 4 May (10 days late as well, following an induction and including 26.5 hours labour) and according to your profile we're about the same age. I see you also hope to have more - are you trying yet?

IMBM, I hope you're enjoying the shopping, let us know what you got, and hope that you all three of you have the chance for some indulgence from that.

Sexmasonlegs · 20/12/2007 17:46

Yeah, sorry about that - took an age to send so I pressed it again and lo and behold there were 2 posts!

Hi Elkie.

Evening all

IMBM - Merry Christmas -so glad to hear you are out shopping - what you said about M and the toy aisle made me blub!

SOL - hope K is better soon

Pesha at delivery idiots people

Hi to EB - you should know though - once you find your way in you can never leave......I delurked just once earlier in the autumn - been here ever since I have three girls, the youngest - B was born on 21/04/07

Hello everyone else

Who mentioned Whitby yesterday? Would it make you unbearably furious to know dh and B and I have been over that way today? Looking at locations for the next Church weekend away - in 2009! We stopped off in Helmsley on the way - I love it there - fab shops and went to the gorgeous toyshop - where I solved my dd2 present problem by getting her a little loom!! She is very into making stuff and was keen on knitting last year - but I don't knit so it was hard to help her - weaving is more my kind of thing. Such a relief as was really stuck on her

Must bath B now

mammyjounderthemistletoe · 20/12/2007 18:51

Hi all. Welcome EB, come and join the friendliest thread in the place

IMBM, hope you have a good afternoon of retail therapy! Would love to have seen M's face in the toy aisle

EPB, glad you and dh have things sorted for now. As others have said it is such a stressful time and hopefully you will soon come out the other side of it

Cant remember anything else, off now as lots to do. Night all xxx
