Actually ellie it's not all in your past. I'm not going to put it on here but there is something that is not in the past. You were also pretty quick to tell everyone that's why you left a while ago and stir it even more. If you don't want me to involve you then don't keep stirring stuff.

iMustBeMad · 17/12/2007 18:25

If you want to drag other people in yet again please do. I am single and have been for 10 months now. I was in a committed relationship for 6 months before that. Anything before that is my past as far as I am concerned, and as I am single I have not put my children in such a situation. Anything else I do, while I am not whiter than white, does not have any impact, or even potential impact, on mine or anybody elses children.

Maveta · 17/12/2007 18:28

come on guys. Norma I´m not sure it´s my business to go emailing you demanding an explanation? You equally could email us if you wanted to so that´s not really a fair defence to use. I´ve not pre-judged you at all but I am aware something has happened to upset several people and I just want to tread carefully for everyone´s sake.

christmascrackerboldy · 17/12/2007 18:34

i'm with you maveta!

and as IMBM says it's the kids that matter in all of this

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 17/12/2007 18:59

hi everyone, back from another afternoon at work

Not sure what to say really, it's all a bit strange

fpesha · 17/12/2007 19:05

Dont wish to drag this on but I'd just like to add that anything Ellie may or may not do does not impact on our community that is mumsnet, it does not involve us at all. You have quite pointedly and intentionally involved all of mumsnet, which includes us.

jingleoooggs · 17/12/2007 19:14

evening ladies

I haven't written a single Christmas card yet and it was last day for 2nd class postage today so I haven't got long

IMBM - lol at Joe - bless him

Not sure what to say on other issues so I won't poor little girls so sad right on Christmas

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 17/12/2007 19:17

you know what oooggs, i haven't done any either and TBH i'm not sure i'll bother I usually do and I will do close family but apart from that I'm not sure I have the energy. Is anyone likely to notice

Octo · 17/12/2007 19:18

I think you should take your arguments elsewhere as this is not very comfortable at all.

fpesha · 17/12/2007 19:19

My dad left on dec 27th when I was a kid, I think he thought he was being good waiting till after christmas

Not that thats got anything to do with anything really!

He he he at Joe - good luck with that IMBM

What else was I going to say

iMustBeMad · 17/12/2007 19:22

I have christmas cards that Matthew designed, really must post them!

fpesha · 17/12/2007 19:23

That was it - what day is last day for 1st class - is it Thursday?

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 17/12/2007 19:25

Ok then..

Right well - first of all thanks for the sweet messages of support re my wobble this afternoon! May need some more shortly - just put B down and she is kicking off - literally in the case of her covers......

Now - the situation on this thread - the rights and wrongs of this and who has done and said what are rather beyond me - don't know what has happened really and don't need or want to know more. But I will say this - Norma - if one's actions have caused pain and hurt and anger then the best thing, the only thing, to do is to make amends. You may feel justified - there may be a huge amount not known which bears on this issue - but what is known and is plain in front of you are the feelings of your friends - and here and now there is a hurt to be fixed. Like I say I don't know what has happened - but it looks like you need support and help too. I do hope we can all get past this and carry on in a mutually supportive and trusting atmosphere.

jingleoooggs · 17/12/2007 19:28

complicated stuff

iMustBeMad · 17/12/2007 19:28

RudolphtherEDDASnosedreindeer · 17/12/2007 19:33

NorthernLurkerwithastarontop · 17/12/2007 19:34

This is really grim - anybody up for a group hug?

Oh here's something to distract you - has anybody seen any Ello in Toys R Us recently - dd2 has asked for it for Christmas and I don't know if they still stock it?

Octo · 17/12/2007 19:35

iMustBeMad · 17/12/2007 19:36

Octo · 17/12/2007 19:37

Octo · 17/12/2007 19:39

Thread gone.

iMustBeMad · 17/12/2007 19:40

i think we decided to leave the PG thing Octo, as otherwise we'll get to a point where everyone except one has said it's not them
