Hey everyone - how's everyone doing? Hope all are ready for Christmas? Not like me who will be having a breakdown this weekend as we have so much to do (like paint the dining room and entertain my dad who is staying with us from the states - and who I haven't seen for 4 years!!)
I have checked back - and my secret santa pressie has got to it's destination (hope you like it?!) but I've not yet got mine but there's time yet! I'm expecting an Amazon / boden delivery too - I think the delivery fellas have forgotten about us out here!?

Hi DKMA. I'm glad we haven't got any decorating to do (other than the xmas tree, or is that the type you meant rather than paper and paint as I first thought?). Don't feel very ready, but actually most things are sorted, so I guess I should relax a little. Hope you have a great time with your Dad. Is he over for long?

Sorry you are having a meltdown. I'm mostly in denial about Christmas, but then it's just my mum coming up for the day then I am away to North wales on Boxing Day so not really worrying.

Hope your SS arrives soon! Is your dad from the States or the UK? You you take him sight seeing?

I changed my name when I decided I could no longer be arsed to type in the long winded version!

Yep - we have proper painting to do! The bulders have been in taking out the old fireplace and putting in a lovely log burner in the dining room, which is fab cos it looks great - but we now have unpainted plaster on the chimney breast and can't paint it until it dries (hopefully tonight)

My dad was born in singapore and grew up in the uk - then moved to USA with my mum - who is an American. They split up, he stayed there - and she moved to the UK with us kids (long story!)

He is over for 10 days but is only spending this weekend with us (he is visiting his mum / brother / sister / neices and nephews etc also)

He wants to go shopping on sat to get stuff for lo (which is nice of him) - but I can't face it - it's gonna be crazy out there!)

Sounds like you're both pretty set for a relaxing weekend - and a lovely christmas tho!

motherhurdicure 1 1 /2 hours is i bet to far to meet for coffee, lol and thanks about ds poo but he seems ok now! i guess i panic now at every little thing.

chloe been to see her neuro today he wanted her befor christmas, but we said no as shes going in on 14jan, so hes putting her back on peridoxin again (first med they tried) he dont want her on nothing over xmas, hes also said they want her to see a physo but he says shes very bright baby and every time he sees her shes smiling, and good, but he moverments not good it may just be shes weak.

hi to every one else whats this about being on xmas eve?
