wow fury, ds could be famous .

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 17/12/2007 19:05

Awww cute! For some reason I thought you would have to be in London to do the child modelling thing? (I may have considered it for DD...just for the money though!)

andiemisletoe · 17/12/2007 19:08

trace that is so cool andiem now considers what can be done with one moody 7 year old and fat baby who can't sit up mmmmmmmm

TinselTrace2 · 17/12/2007 19:10

right ds was scamed from a london agency they asked us in the street we complained then a local took us on no idea we had one, up here they dont get paid as much as being in or around london, but he still gets £27 an hour where in london its about £50

TinselTrace2 · 17/12/2007 19:11

the company is models direct keep away from them if any of you thinking of doing it tell me whos the agency as i know most

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 17/12/2007 19:43

Foxy, when I was a child presents were kept hidden until after I went to bed on Xmas Eve, then cupboards etc were emptied and it made a great sight under the tree when I got up in the morning. As I got older, we would get them out as I went to bed, then as I went out to the pub when I was older still. It was only when I went to uni and arrived home a few days before Xmas and announced I couldn't be bothered to carry presents up to my room to then bring them down again later that we put them under the tree in advance. Now we get them out on Xmas Eve sometime, normally once DH gets round to wrapping his presents for me (so quite late!), but think that as DD grows we may have to revert to after her bedtime, cycling back to how it was when I was little

WewishyouaBUMPERLICIOUS · 17/12/2007 19:46

jammy same for us. there were no prezzies under the tree till we all woke up christmas morning! dh disagrees with this tradition though

HellHathNoFury · 17/12/2007 19:56

trace models direct is who contacted me, what did they do?

HellHathNoFury · 17/12/2007 20:02

ooh blimey they have been on watchdog and everything...wow I will stay away! 'competition' my arse!!!

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 17/12/2007 20:14

daisy runs off to dig out the Thomas Aquadraw box

I nearly sent DSs photos off to various modelling agencies when he was around 2ish, but thought it was maybe a bit pfb of me, so didn't bother. He's 10 times more gorgeous than the boys in the Next catalogue though. I might just do it; I like the idea of him being financially self sufficient from an early age

mhc, I've sent you a message back.

Can I just thank you guys again for all your lovey offeres of help and support . MN is bloody brilliant and you guys rock

And Happy Birthday Holly!

Argh!! DD refusing to feed off me for the second time today. It's this fucking cold. And the fucking milk we just got out of the freezer to give to her has leaked. Fucking lansinoh. Fuck.

derlordsmyshepherd · 17/12/2007 20:30

yikes it's -3 degrees here tonight BBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

off to catch up a bit back next week soon

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 17/12/2007 20:41

Bumper, I know your pain - I hate lansinoh. I used their ebm bags with DD and half of them split in the freezer. I complained and they sent me some free breast pads, FFS!

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 17/12/2007 20:45

That's pants of their customer service Fairy!

FairyOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 17/12/2007 20:48

especially as I said in my email that part of the reason I was so p**d off was because I had now stopped bf and expressing and was using the the frozen ebm to give DD a few extra weeks of benefit - so I couldn't produce anymore to replace it - so some clever customer service rep thought it would be good to send me some breast pads! I was so annoyed that I emailed back and they suggested I pass them on to a friend. at that point, I gave up in disgust

HellHathNoFury · 17/12/2007 21:00

TheTwelveDAISYOfChristmas · 17/12/2007 21:31
