Hi NL. I survived thank you, but am worried about K's cough. How are you?
The day was mad. Left home at 8.30, dropped off B, dropped off K, went to work, left work, picked up B, picked up K and went to pool for B's swimming lesson. Back home at 5.30 to sort out tea for them both. Then bath and bed time palava! They were both in bed by 7.20!

Tcmummy, meant to say - what a mad weekend!!! Hope you can have a break now and get someone else to cook for you!!

Hi Dippy, how are you? I would love it if you could pray for K thank you. x

Sorry to hear K's sick, SOL.

NL, I think the problem is that only a few women actually get on to the NCT antenatal classes and the hospital classes are a matter of luck as well. At least those of us finding our way to MN have somewhere to ask.

Evening

Off to bathe then bed, still feel rotten with this stinky cold. Hoping that G cooperates and sleeps better tonight.

SOL - sounds like you've covered everything with K. Poor little thing hope she feels better soon.

Norma - would love a coffee - next week is a bit up in the air (possible friends visiting/possible need to go up to Newcastle to see gran). Will email you when I know more.

GMM - at garage, at helpful men. Hope you're ok now. Love your Christmas name.

Eddas - hope you can sort something out for new car. Awful stressful time.

Sorry if I've missed anyone. Off to clear my passages. Goodnight.

That's a good point Elkie - better to ask here than not at all - I have to admit - it did make me smile rather.

Evening all. SOL, hope K settles and manages to sleep with her cough. Dont think there is anything else you could do. I have heard that vaporub on feet is good too! Never tried it though. Glad she was ok at nursery today. It is so much harder with 2 dc's isnt it - having to flit around from one place to another picking them up. Sometimes I feel like I spend half my day on the road.
Have got some great suggestions for a place to eat out in covent garden too so thanks for the nudge!

Nutty, glad the hangover has subsided I still wonder about the hat incident

Eddas, hope you sort out something with the car. Its awful that someone else bumps you, but you end up with the financial headache over what to do about it. > that you get a new car soon xx

Dippy, your prayers seem to have worked, as K hasn't coughed in a while. Thank you. xx

GMM, meant to say how cross I was reading your post. Thank God for those helpful men. Hope you get the tyre sorted.

Leaky, hope you are feeling better soon you poor love. xx

MJ, glad you have got some ideas for your London trip.

It is so hard with 2 dc's isn't it - the whole logistics thing.

I know I have only been back 2 days, but I am wondering how everything is going to pan out. Dh works like a dog as well, so don't see him being able to do the housework!!

Elkie, hope D is ok btw. What a huge sleep!!

NB - love the photos - had to laugh, as I have bought the same bunny that E has, for O for Christmas.

SOL - sounds like you are doing amazingly! To work all day, and then get to swimming too, and them both in bed by 7.20! It will get easier as your systems get more embedded - when O first went to the childminder, packing her bag each night felt like a chore, but now it's part of my evening routine and I barely notice it. It's such a worry when they're ill and you can't be there isn't it?

Mammyjo - sounds like you have got some good ideas from your other thread. Hope you find a good meal, and have a great evening tomorrow.

Eddas - pants about the car. Hope you can make a plan and get it sorted.

NL - I can see what you mean about the hot water bottle query! Mind you, I remember when N was small, asking the HV if it was okay for her to be in the bathroom while I was having a shower?!

Joe is ill, very ill
he is now losing weight instead of just not gaining
he seems vacant and 'away with the fairies' when he is awake, and spends most of his time asleep

the HV has asked me to take him back to the doc and get a referal to a paediatrician immediately.

I don't usually worry but I am now, my baby doesn't look like my baby, I feel like he might break every time I pick him up

And just in case Justin's family are reading this (as I suspect they are) could you please inform him as he is ignoring my text.
