Hi all - just checking in - hope al well. Dh has been signed off work for another week (still has neck and back pain from car accident) but is now allowed to drive again (shame we don't actually have a car for him to drive!) Still waiting to hear from the insurance re.

Half term has been a bit of a wipe out really due to being carless and dh being in pain (men and pain - need I say more!!!). Were supposed to going Halloween mask making at local National Trust place with brother and sil and kids, but niece got the chucking up bug so we couldn't go. DD1 and me spent and afternoon cutting and glueing a Pumpkin/bat/spider/ghosty picture instead!! dd1 now gone to grandma for the night so just me, dh and Holly at home. Since dh has been off work and home she has become a total Daddy's girl and is actually pushing me out of the way. Lovely for dh but bad news for me when he eventually goes back to work.

UniSarah - we used to live in Exeter - Oh how I miss it and my friends! Not entirely sure about the new shopping Centre - not terribly child friendly - seems to be aimed at youngish persons with disposable income and plenty of time to sit in coffee/tapas bars (I'm so jealous!). Now living in Okehampton - not quite a cultural/shopping desert but nearly.

Having a shit day literally....woke up with it this am.....recovered enough to drag my ass into work, as I had no choice and ss managed to tell people to wait if I was in the loo. Then had to meet dh at Ikea, supposed to feed kids there, but que's too long, so we didn't just got the tables we needed for shop and left. Then cause I got directed into a parking space that was no where near dh, we ended up in a slagging match at full pitch across the carpark, sure we amused some people out there so going to eff off and get the kids intobed, put the washing on and go to bed myself, toss of a day.

I'm Christmas shopping in Argos.
Is a cheap (£40) digital photo frame rubbish? I've no idea what the differences are, but think it would make a good present for my paretns (as long as I make sure my db hasn't already bought them an expensive one)
