Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Jenswish · 06/11/2007 19:58

Got one, But I knew you guys could just tell me to stop being stupid and i'd listen!! hahaha

I'm hoping they'll let me go home pretty much straight away. I said this to my mum who said dont be silly you'll have much more help in hospital. Strange lady.

peachygirl · 06/11/2007 20:02

If you can go home and you feel OK about it my advice would be to go!!
I was in for several days after the C section and by the end was desperate to get out of there.

Jenswish · 06/11/2007 20:07

I've got a phobia about hospitals (I think mostly since the MC and D&C) so I don't want to go if I can help it but although I'm going to ask about a homebirth I'm not sure whether I'll be allowed what with me being overweight and the baby being big.

Juicylucytoo · 06/11/2007 22:01

Is it too late to join it? Do I still count??

5 month on from having a baby I still haven't managed a whole nights sleep (i.e. more than 4 hours at any one time - and I count 4 hours practically as a lie-in these days)!

Barely holding it together, but do have an adorable baby (see photos). Soooooo cute I forgive him the sleepless nights every morning.

Great to see you all on here. PCM - how close is your due date. It only seems like yesterday you got your BFP!! Head is pure mush these days. All the days run into each other

Wanders off to ramble on to herself.....

wuzzlefraggle · 06/11/2007 22:07

Trace - Anna's 1st birthday went fantastically thanks hun hope you and chloe (and the family) are all ok xx

Jen, try not to panick too much hun. They will send your dh home the next day not while you are still having the baby or anything. With me and dave, I went into hospital on halloween morning at about 8am and didn't give birth until 1:49am on November the first, dh stayed all the time (no one even suggested he go!) and they let him stay with me until about 8:30am the morning of Annas birth, then he went home, got a little sleep and came back in the early afternoon. That night, he was kicked out at about 7 I think (which I hated), but the next day I went home anyway.

Hun please don't get worried about it xx

peachygirl · 06/11/2007 22:12

Hi jucy lucy of course you are welcome. DD has really only just recently been sleeping through at 8 months and thats not every night so don't worry

Jenswish · 07/11/2007 13:08

Well I had my meeting at work today (to find out my fate from the disciplinary) and they've fired me!!

I'm off to jobcentre tomorrow to start either SMP or SSP depending on what they'll give me. Then going to the citizens advice to see whether we have a case for tribunal.

pussycatmomma · 07/11/2007 13:37

Hi everyone ((((waves!!!)))
Dont really venture on to tinternet much at the moment as Ive been having problems with my back and pelvis. But am off today, so just thought I would take a little peek to see how everyone is.
Hello to everyone, cant believe some of you have 1year old children!!!!!!! To say they were all a twinkle in your eyes and not even registering on a pee-stick when we all first met! WOW!!
I am 29 weeks this week!!! Apart from the back and pelvic pain I am fine, and everything is going brilliantly. I havent had any problems so far and am so looking forward to meeting my baby in January (((very excited!!!!)))
I cant believe I only have 12 weeks to go, after the first 3 months dragging by it has gone really quickly. Dont know where the time has gone! Dh and I have been busy decorating the babys room, it is nearly finished and looks gorgeous. We ordered our cot on Sunday, it gets delivered in a few weeks. Crib and pram are awaiting transfer from my mums house to ours, and I have just started putting together a few sleepsuits and bits and bobs.
My sister is doing well so far, she is 8 and a half weeks now, still on her injections to help her keep the baby, but she is doing very well. I think it is starting to become a bit more real for her now.
I will be around a little more after Christmas when I begin my maternity leave.
Lovely to be able to log on and see all my old friends in one place.
(((HUGS TO ALL))))
Love pcm xxxxxxxxxxxx

pussycatmomma · 07/11/2007 13:40

ps I have a very round very obvious bump! Looks rather like a space hopper up my top and dh insists i still look beautiful, but truthfully, I cant wait to be able to bend in the middle again and put my socks on easily!!!!

Jenswish · 07/11/2007 15:19

PCM - I've got a good bump now too, its nice isn't it! must say baby is getting annoying now as it keeps ending in my lungs.

LuckySalem · 07/11/2007 15:33

It's still me "Jenswish" but I'm not wishing anymore.

peachygirl · 12/11/2007 21:17

Hi all I've been away for the wekend so I'm bumping us to get the thread back on my list

wuzzlefraggle · 16/11/2007 21:33

Oh My God, Pussycat and Jen !! Time is coming fast now ! (or should I say going fast?!)

I am totally in the Christmas spirit now LOL doing a big Xmas shop next saturday (daddy can babysit while me and my m8 go nuts lol) although, ladies I promise that my tree WILL NOT be going up until 2 weeks before Xmas I cant wait to see how Anna will react to it all this year (last year she just didn't care! was too teeny then, this year she'll be swinging off the tree I expect !)

LuckySalem · 17/11/2007 00:04

HELLO!!

I removed this thread off my watch list and it took me ages to find it again.

Hope your all ok, 7 weeks to go!

peachygirl · 17/11/2007 22:49

wuzz the general rule is that trees cannot go up until I have had my birthday - fisrt week of Dec!!!
WOW Jen bet you are really getting excited. Have you got a provisional bag packed? I had a shopping bag with a few bits scattered in it just in case from about 6 weeks before

LuckySalem · 18/11/2007 16:16

I packed the baby's bag last night. I still need to get some bum cream and a couple more suits. I've only got the no arm no legs ones at the moment.

I haven't packed my bag yet, no nighties etc yet. I'm waiting for my bag to arrive from Ebay first. Going shopping once it arrives. So depressing going shopping though cos I feel bad for spending any money.

peachygirl · 18/11/2007 20:53

Don't worry about cream you will get a bounty bag with feebies of sudocrem in it , in fact you can ge one when pregnant have oyu redistered. You can do it online or I think there was a form in the pack with the NHS pregnancy book.
I got my nighties from Matalan

LuckySalem · 18/11/2007 21:54

Just registered online, thanks Peachy.
Have had a look on matalan and can't see anything that's any good, there's no front button stuff.

pussycatmomma · 20/11/2007 15:16

what about pjays? you can undo the front bit or if it is a jersey style top, just lift up?
Im 31 weeks this week (omg!!)
Had a scare last week as midwife thought baby hadnt grown and referred me for a scan - fortunately everything hunkydory and baby is bang on 50th centile. Apparently Im carrying lots of extra "liquor" basically lots of fluid, not the smooth glass of red kind! (i wish! ) Looking forward to a lovely glass of wine once the baby is here and home safely.
Hows everyone else?
xxx

LuckySalem · 20/11/2007 15:41

Hey PCM - Went into matalan today and there is some lovely Pj's with the buttons on the front. Am slightly worried that they're all bright colours though (which can be very embarassing if there should be some leakages) not sure whether I'll actually buy them yet.

Am 34 weeks today!! went for MW apt and am measuring at 36 (outside the 90th percentile but they don't mind as i'm fat anyway so it'll be me that they're measuring) Apparently head is down with back to my righthand side, not engaged yet but very low so prob will be by next visit.

Glad to hear your bub is ok,
Hope everyone else is ok! :-)

peachygirl · 21/11/2007 20:17

I wore Pjs in the day time a very cheap pair from Tesco and then put my nighties on at night time It made me feel like I got dressed!!. I was in for several days though

wuzzlefraggle · 23/11/2007 22:15
