Ds is 11 months, just taken his first steps but still mainly holding onto the furniture. He has 8 teeth and a load more coming through. He's a big chubby boy about 14 kgs and the Spanish think he is a giant . I am constantly being stopped in the street so people can pinch his fat cheeks, poor little mite!

wuzzlefraggle · 27/10/2007 20:53

Ok, heres my update:

DD will be 1 on thursday
She has 4 teeth
Is walking and running - took her first steps at 9 and a half months.
Good sleeper, and weaning has now begun (trying to get rid of breast all together - harder than it sounds!)
I am working part time from home

peachygirl · 27/10/2007 21:14

This is great! Come on everyone

trace2 · 28/10/2007 07:56

ok

chloe is 20 weeks only weighs 10lb now
shes very smiley baby dispite her problems
no teeth, no hair lol
i think shes spent 13 weeks at hospital all together, counting the nights we spent there.
me and dh( on sick) at home looking after her 24 hours, as been told to watch her all the time(very tiring)

I'm here,

Been off work for 2 weeks on hols and only just got internet back at home. Damn talktalk cut us off.

Work are calling me in for a disciplinary on Friday?!! Apparently I'm bullying?! Its a load of crap there, they're just trying to get rid of staff cos the market isn't too good at the moment and I think they are losing money with so many employees. They've already fired 7 people who were on probationary periods so now they're resorting to bullying the others out of their jobs (They've brought the same things against 2 others who have just handed their notices in instead) obviously I can't what with being pregnant.

DP is worried I'm going to get fired and we'll lose the house, which to be honest I'm trying not to think about cos I don't think they're be that stupid.

I'm thinking I might try and get my mat leave earlier cos they are taking the mick abit and I really don't need this stress.

Hope the rest of you are all ok and sorry for the rambling but I just had to get it off my chest.

Baby is kicking away nicely inside good at aiming for my bladder. Giving me heartburn its lovely. I'm at 30 + 4 now, can't wait to meet my little 'un.

We've still not bought anything!!! No pram no nothing, BUT we have emptied the nursery now ready for decorating.

trace2 · 28/10/2007 13:41

hi jen wish, you ramble away all you want, sorry carnt help with your situation, but good luck.
30 weeks plus god glad am noy pg again i hated it lol

Wow Jen, it's going so fast!

Your work seem to be a bit mean! are they accusing you of bullying another employee?

Trace, I hope that everything gets totally cleared up soon hun x

Jenswish · 28/10/2007 20:46

Hey wuzz, long time no talk.

Yeh We've all apparently been bullying another employee (who has left)

Piffle · 28/10/2007 20:51

Jen that sounds a little underhand, good luck with the saga...
Trace the best things come in small packages dd is widdly small but perfect and as you know has had many challenges and seen them all off and made liars out of top doctors!

Well as for Finabr ds2
7 mths last week
half crawling, can stand alone for 5 seconds and walk a few steps [screams] NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
has two teeth and two more on the way, sleeps very well and eats like a horse.
And smiles the rest of the time

wuzzlefraggle · 29/10/2007 12:36

Hiya Jen I know, its been aaages!
Make sure you let us all know how is goes on thursday.

Hows pregnancy treating you?

Jenswish · 29/10/2007 14:22

Pregnancy is ok although I'm getting terrible pains in my chest and stomach (i'm assuming are BH)

This whole thing at work is not helping me, i'm getting constant headaches and no sleep (could also be down to the size of my belly though!!)

peachygirl · 29/10/2007 19:11

Trace, Piffle is right about the small packages.. being a petite lady mself!
I did look at what DD weighed at that age though and she was only 13lbs

Jenswish · 30/10/2007 15:30

Midwife apt at 12pm, am measuring at 34 (when should be around 27 )

I've got dodgy blood pressure and the baby's heartbeat is slightly quicker than normal (which is apparently stress related)

Got another apt in 3 weeks, if still big have to have scan, which if big they won't let me go overdue and if really big may induce 2 weeks early or C-section. Head down but apparently will move again and it won't be a problem.

wuzzlefraggle · 30/10/2007 21:29

Jen - you shouldn't have to put up with stress like that! and the pains do sound like BH

let us know how it keeps progressing with the scans xx

Its so nice to have this thread back up and running!

Has anyone heard from PCM?

Its Annas first birthday Thursday!!! OH MY GOD!!

Jenswish · 30/10/2007 22:15

Bloody hell that seems like only yesterday when I was reading about when she was coming.....

Don't worry about the stress, I don't mind and baby keeps kicking me so it's obviously all good.

peachygirl · 01/11/2007 20:53

Happy first birthday Anna and congratulations to you Wuzz, you made through the first year!!

Jenswish · 02/11/2007 11:44

Sorry I missed it, Happy birthday Anna.

Well Well I had my meeting where I basically got torn apart and made out to look like I was an evil caniving bitch.

I stuck up for myself and behaved but once it was over they had to discuss what they were going to do and the stress of waiting 3 weeks for this meeting worrying whether I was going to have a job got on top of me and I stressed out and ended up in hospital where they've told me the baby is fine but i'm not.

I was told to either get to my GP and signed off or start maternity leave now! So I'm not in work and I don't know whether I have a job (as they wouldn't tell me cos they didn't want to stress me out) I'm off to see docs on Monday to get a note and hopefully sort things out.

I've already decided I don't want to go back cos the atmosphere is horrible and the way I was painted yesterday to my immediate manager was horrid BUT if I start to feel better then I'll go back cos I'm determined not to let them bully me out of a job.

I've just had a phonecall from my boss' boss to say that we need to resolve this so I've said I'll pop up and finish the meeting next week once I've got my sick note.

wuzzlefraggle · 02/11/2007 17:12

Thanks for the birthday wishes We all had a lovely day hehe

Jen, I hope it all gets resolved soon hun. You need to be careful with all the stress. xx

Jenswish · 04/11/2007 16:47

You guys will be honest with me!!!

Am I being silly for panicking about giving birth and DP being sent home?

wuzzlefraggle · 04/11/2007 23:27

panicking about giving birth already? It only really hit home with me about a week before lol.

Woman have been doing it for god knows how long..you will be fine hun xx

And what do you mean about your dp being sent home? I'm not sure I follow...

Jenswish · 05/11/2007 15:57

Well the hospital has strict visiting hours so if I give birth outside them he'll be sent home when they transfer me which I've been told can be after as little as an hour.

peachygirl · 06/11/2007 09:21

jen you should check this as it may apply to the rest of the hospital but not the maternity. Dads were welcome at all times in the postnatal ward at our hospital, it was other visitors that had to come at visiting times. Why would they need to transfer you??

Jenswish · 06/11/2007 09:55

They transfer you from the labour room to post natal ward he has to go home. I've already checked and that was what I was told by the midwife. I know i'm being silly but...... I'm panicking!! haha

trace2 · 06/11/2007 14:50

wuss sorry i missed annas birthday! was it a good day,

OP posts:
peachygirl · 06/11/2007 19:50

Will you have to stay? at our hospital if all goes well they like you to go home - much better for mum and baby.
It all sounds very strange to me. You may find you are in a recovery room or the room you give birth in for a while and he should be able to stay with you then.

Maybe you could start a thread asking others what they did in this position?
