hiya lotta - ooh its just like the old days! Are you at work hun or off today? Ive already informed dh sex is on the cards this week, i think he thinks im joking, but if it gets things going, then so be it! Nipping out tonight for the fresh pineapples .

ive been really lucky so far with my blood pressure, tis always always in the normal range, and no puffiness or swelling anyway so i think im fine on the pre-eclamsia front.

My two are 5, (6 in March ) and little'un is 13 months now. Ha, Yummy Mummy indeed.... we've all got colds along with some sort of rash around our mouths, I look anything but yummy!!! In fact was quite pleased it was tipping it down with rain on the school run, meant I could keep my head down!

I think you have to eat about 7 whole fresh pineapples for it to actually possibly work..... good luck, I'll stick to my galaxy LOL

When I was at your stage and just looking for something to do, I cleaned all the windows, skirting boards, door frames, stairs, all the things that don't get done that often (not in this house anyway!!) didn't get the baby moving but saved me from day time telly!

Oh and I also spent much of the day wading in the bath

PCM, I second nat with the recommendation of pineapple...I had a cervical sweep and drank about 2 litres of pineapple juice then the next day I was in the hospital LOL! Thoughts are with you hun xx

hi all - absolutely zilch to report here!
My mother phones daily and her opening line is always "Hows things? Any changes?"
Today I asked her to please not ask me, and that whenever anything interesting/ different/labour-y-fied occurs she will be the first to know!
Last night we made a curry (tasty but no twinges yet) and I had half a fresh pineapple while sat bouncing on the ball. All thats happened this morning is (tmi )Ive had diaarohea - bleugh!
Dh not even home for a lunch time flying visit as he is in the city for a course on tuesdays - im ashamed to say i didnt even get showered, dressed etc till 12.30 ooh the shame!!
Am now going to take Archie to the park and when i get back im going to get some more cooking done for the freezer - fish pie i think.
Cinema tonight with dh. I think we are only going just because we can! His turn to choose film last week ("I am legend" which i sobbed at when the dog died. ) So my turn to pick tonight.
Hope you are all well. Thank goodness the bloomin' rain has stopped - HURRAY!!!!

We saw I am Ledgend - very good film (Also bawled when the dog died!! Just so you know it isn't pregnancy hormones!!) Very very good story, almost more believable than other disaster movies.

Pcm that would be the pineapple that has given you the runs I ate more pineapple it dident work. The only thing that did was I had to call mw out as I had a rash developing all over my body, they took some bloods but told me to take piriton tablets I had one about midday and at 5 I was in labour . On a serious note though enjoy your time with dh I know it is a long a waited baby but it is hard work when they are here however I know you will be a fab mummy. Are you having baby at km ? I looked at your profile the other day I dont recognise you. There is a pic of me on my profile you will have to have a peek. I used to hate people ringing saying your still here then yes I HAVENT DROPPED OF THE END OF THE EARTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi all - well, tis officially my due date today! But guess what - thats right no baby nothing significant happening, some strong braxton hicks but that is all. No show, no pains, no anything - grrrr!!!
All day ive been thinking oooh todays the day, its today, ooh due date today, 24th, how exciting, all that rubbish and it has been very very uneventful. Fielding phone calls left right and centre. No I havent had it, Yes im still here (what do you think ive done, dropped off the face of the earth?! )
Am now on my 3rd pineapple but cant face the whole pregnant shag thing just yet
Will keep you all posted, hope you are all ok?

Awww I have been thinking about you all day. Wondered if no news was good news.

Just relax, have a nice long soak, get the galaxy out, put dvd on, order a foot massage, and enjoy the last few days of being able to do so!

Will also give you some extra energy for all the walking up and down stairs sideways, sex, great big long 5 hour walks and bouncing on birthing balls that will be sure to come tomorrow... if the baby doesn't beat all that!!

Hi pussycat I remember my due date with aidan was the 3rd july and I sobbed when he wasnt here on that date you just prepare yourself so much he was born on the 13th . As everyone has been saying its hard but enjoy your time with dh. Me and my dh always say what did we do with our time beofre we had the kids xxxxxx

DD was booked in for her section on the 15th Feb so we thought we would go out for a nice meal and to see the preview of Hot Fuzz for valentines day. My waters broke on the 13th!

We were discussing earlier today where we thought our valentines cards were as we didn't send them to each other last year!

PCM - Try going swimming. did the trick for me!! Honestly though I understand what you mean completely, it was horrid when Aly's due date arrived and she was a no-show. Just enjoy the last few days and keep picturing baby moving further down.

I'm today, my central heating is broker (pilot light won't stay on) and I was going to have a bath with Aly but couldn't cos there was no hot water! Was really looking forward to that.
