Morning!
R.e weddings: chelsea town hall followed by a big party on a boat on the thames for us - it was great fun!

riabutterflew · 04/10/2007 08:37

hi.

camping - there is a fab site at Wray Castle near Ambleside.

am looking forward to baby massage later.

riabutterflew · 04/10/2007 08:40

also a nice site in Goathland behind the "Heartbeat" pub, very basic, but the steam railway runs through it. Maybe too faraway for you though M.

bumperlicious · 04/10/2007 08:58

Anyone want to sponsor me to walk across hot coal?

daisyandbabybootoo · 04/10/2007 09:43

morning.

ria, sorry I abandoned you last night. My computer crashed, then i felt all odd and threw up. I feel fine this morning thankfully, so not sure what caused it.

I'm very of your camper vam MHC. I thought about buying one after I'd sold my flat in Edinburgh and moved back in with my parents....I didn't though, but really wish I had, and now we can't afford it. DH wants my next vehicle to be a Mazda Bongo Fendee or similar, as it's still a practical everyday vehicle.

babyboo has started flailing her free arm around and thumping my chest when she is feeding . It's very annoying as it means I can't MN cos I have to hold her hand to stop her from doing it. Is this normal??

Jamantha · 04/10/2007 10:04

Morning.

Bumper - happy to sponsor you, have sent email.

Daisy, glad you're feeling better today.

Ria, hope you're feeling brighter and that baby massage goes well. We love (mostly) doing it.

Hooray, DH should be home in about 4 hours!

Jamantha · 04/10/2007 10:07

My DH wants either a cheap, old, big black BMW, so he can look like a drug dealer or similar, or a little 2 seater sporty number with barely room for a laptop in the boot.

daisyandbabybootoo · 04/10/2007 10:11

perfect family cars then Jamantha!

I would like a sit up and beg type of car like a corolla verso or a honda CRV...not a scenic though.

DD has started doing little coughs to get my attention. I don't know whether it stems from her choking one day and all three of us ran to her or what....but it certainly gets my attention all right.

Right am off to do my FLYing for today. I didn't shine my sink yesterday and it's sat there looking all splashed and dirty and dull. I've got a decluttering session to do today as well.....what fun

riabutterflew · 04/10/2007 10:12

hi J. how long before you and DH have a tiff? it will be nice to have him home though, he will probably think DD has changed.

bumperlicious · 04/10/2007 10:17

thanks jamantha, will reply when i get a chance.

we move tomorrow but not sure when internet back up, so if i disappear that's why.

enjoy baby massage ria! we started it on tuesday. dd was good as gold.

daisyandbabybootoo · 04/10/2007 10:21

bumper, you've got my phone number....drop me a text to stay in touch!

Are you all packed and ready then? It's a real nightmare moving with small children as you kind of need all their stuff to hand!

Jamantha · 04/10/2007 10:29

LOL, Ria. Knowing us about 5 mins!

bumperlicious · 04/10/2007 10:33

nearly there, problem is dd gets fed up pretty quickly at the moment so don't get mich time, but we are getting there. what is going to be more difficult is tooing and froing between flats for 2 days and physically moving stuff while trying to feed and amuse dd. have roped in a few helpers though

bumperlicious · 04/10/2007 10:35

this sounds really stupid too, so please try not to laugh, but i've gone as far as i can now without the fear of coming across spiders. dh is going to have to do the dark corners

Jamantha · 04/10/2007 10:39

NOT STUPID at all Bumper. I noticed last night that our fireplace (no fire in it, just the recess) has plenty of cobwebs in it, so am just keeping away until DH can hoover it out for me.

daisyandbabybootoo · 04/10/2007 10:42

not stupid at all, I would be the same...there is a mahoosive spider living in the pipe box beside the water stop cock in our kitchen. This house will be flooded before I put my hand in there.

bumperlicious · 04/10/2007 12:01

Thank for not laughing. I feel like such a wuss, but think it it is a full on phobia

loonylovegood · 04/10/2007 12:27

I'll come round and de-spider your house for you! Spiders are cool! My dd is terrified of them though. I'm trying to teach her that spiders are friendly!

Wasps, however, are a different matter. I won't even go in my house if there is one in there! I feel sick just thinking about them!

It's not stupid bumper, we all have our irrational fears!

bumperlicious · 04/10/2007 12:39

will you also come & help me pack holly?!

bumperlicious · 04/10/2007 12:40

my dd sound like chewbacca gurgling away at the moment!

sputnik · 04/10/2007 13:14

Hi Bumper, how's the feeding going today? Been reading your other threads, I think you just hav to take 1 day at a time, you're over the difficult part, before we know it feeds will be getting shorter, easier and they'll be eating solids! It's your decision whatever you dcidee to do and you shouldn't feel pressured eithr way.

Hope you get back online asap after your move btw, as we'll miss you

Hello

Taken ages to catch up and forgotten everything already!!

My wedding was arranged in 12 weeks and the whole colour scheme was organised around DHs kilt, couriered down from Scotland 2 days before wedding. Bridesmaids wore red dresses and boys wore tartan waistcoats...still got tartan left over but don't know what to do with it....registry office do....3 days off work ...I also suggested getting married in front of TV one Sunday evening...

Daisy hows DD today after jabs? K had hers yesterday and has slept and slept and slept...is this ok do you think? Pretty grumpy as well when she's been awake..

riabutterflew · 04/10/2007 15:03

Hi.

Just done baby massage on baggins - he was v chilled and gooing, but seems mighty pissed of now it's stopped. Just did legs and feet today. The lady is coming again next week to do the tummy. I am very lucky.
