I'm off to bed too now...good night!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
riabutterflew · 03/10/2007 21:44

nice dress, but I'm not sure about banana as a colour

our wedding was v cheap. ceremony in harrogate register office, then a meal in Knaresboro, followed by our engagement party in a (truly scummy now I think about it, but it belonged to a friend of DH)pub the next day. TBH though, the only bit I care about is the v small ceremony (only my DPs, S&bil&DN and my gran, and DHs brother, 1 friend & BILs sister who was visiting from abroad. DHs parents were on holiday and wouldn't cancel it...teehee) and our 1-night honeymoon in Knaresboro'.

DH wants a blessing if we can ever afford it (ha) but I would still only want a small one, possibly on a steamer on Lake Windermere!

Evening all!
Just caught up and now cant remember who said what!
There was chat about Bringing up baby, poo, bullying, jabs, dieting, currently weddings and do you know what? Nothing about cloth nappies!! (thats a first!)

Finally got my Child benefit claim accepted - £18.10 pw - that is the correct amount for 1 child isnt it?
When do you get your letter/voucher re the Child Trust fund? I thought it would've come with the above?

my friend sent me this:-

How to Make a Woman Happy

HOW TO MAKE A MAN HAPPY

  1. Show up naked
  2. Bring food
daisyandbabybootoo · 03/10/2007 21:57

I think holly may have mentioned nappies just the once...or maybe that was yesterday?

LOL at the list Ria. Where my DH is concerned the food is optional!

jbm, I got a letter about a week after the child benefit letter, then the voucher arrived a couple of weeks after that. I've no idea what I've done with it though.

Did you get your award backdated?

justbeme · 03/10/2007 22:00

Yes, backdated Daisy to the 16th july (she was born on the 10th).

riabutterflew · 03/10/2007 22:01

not much point me providing food either

riabutterflew · 03/10/2007 22:06

i'm knackered, my eyes hurt and my man-flu is getting worse. nite all.

Rx

Bumper - when do you go offline? good luck with the move, hope you aren't away too long.

justbeme · 03/10/2007 22:13

Im off too - feel really tired tonight.
Sleep well!

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/10/2007 22:14

all by myseeelf.....

sputnik · 03/10/2007 22:15

Holly did mention nappies, she was saying how she likes to stroke them Hard to see how you can follow a statement like that. Shame to wreck those lovely nappies by having babies pooing all over them really isn't it?

Daisy, explosive poos are a regular occurence here, I could just do without them at 7 in the morning! Vax-wise we get diptheria, tetanus, polio, hep b, umm..running out of disases here anyway another 1... all in one at 3 months them boosters, then they do the MMR AT 18 MONTHS oops

sputnik · 03/10/2007 22:18

I'm here?

What do you lot get?

sputnik · 03/10/2007 22:20

Actually no question about that, I AM here.

Just no one else is....

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/10/2007 22:27

8 weeks - diptheria/tetanus/whooping cough/polio/hib meningitis in one leg and pneumococcal in the other

12 weeks - diptheria/tetanus/whooping cough/polio/hib in one leg and Men C in the other

16 weeks - diptheria/tetanus/whooping cough/polio/hib in one leg, Men C and Pneumococcal in the othe.

no wonder they are grizzly afterwards!

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/10/2007 22:28

I was just typing all that lot out from my wee red book....medical secretary I ain't!

sputnik · 03/10/2007 22:40

Whooping cough was the one i couldn't think of. What's hib? Can only think of the football team. Pneumococcal is optional. The hepB is in there apparently because someone who sold them paid a massive bribe too the minister of health some years ago

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/10/2007 22:44

Hib is "haemophilus influenzae b" It's a type of meningitis I think......DERLOR????

riabutterflew · 03/10/2007 22:45

hi again. eyes still bloody sore but the pooter restarted instead of turning off

I feel guilty now for being mean about my BF. sounds like she is having a rough time with lack of committment from her new DP/affairee. selfishly i have too much baggage of my own to handle, I just can't cope with anyone elses just now.

dh has made me drs appt

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/10/2007 22:45

MMR at 13 months with booster pre-school year

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/10/2007 22:51

Ria, is the new affairee married or something? If he is she doesn't deserve your sympathy.

Even if he isn't she should realise that friends shouldn't be neglected or they get fed up and go find new friends, and that friends with new babies and non working DHs need a little bit more tlc than your run of the mill friend does

Do they not do the bcg(?) vaccination anymore....we got it in first year of high school

riabutterflew · 03/10/2007 22:57

i like my virtual friends

sputnik · 03/10/2007 23:01

Second what Daisy says, you are not being selfish, friendships are meant to run both ways.

Why haveen't I gone to bed?

riabutterflew · 03/10/2007 23:05

F gave up marriage and career for this. the other person is finding it too difficult to do so. We have already been through the not willing to be second best so finishing it thing at least once. I am concerned by the effect on the children and the bitter marriage-hating person F has become. I don't know if it's because dh was "forced" out of his other marriage, or just the whole married thing I have a problem with. Maybe it's just a bad time for ME generally. I was the first person to find out so have been under the strain of it for a while and- like everything else - it makes me tired.

sorry, am so self-obsessed and full of woe, and that is what I'm getting bugged by FGS

riabutterflew · 03/10/2007 23:08

i need to stop being miserable and go to bed. especially as 1)DH is making "noises" (he thinks he has paid me some compliments tonight - "I love ALL of you" and "you aren't fat, you have a weight problem" bless him ). 2) dh is watching croc dundee.

thanks for being there to listen.

nite - Rx
