Morning.

Leaky I hope the sleep sorts itself out soon. For the 2 months that J was feeding 2 hourly overninght co-sleeping was the only way I could cope.

SOL your mum sounds fanstastic! Belated happy anniversary.

Better night last night - only up twice so must have just been growth spurt - phew!

mmk · 19/09/2007 08:59

morning all, glad I made you laugh SOL.I hope too that nutty's dh has made up for his pre holiday naughtiness...
DH does the same, and worse.

Ahh, that's better, dd woke at 2.30 am with teething and breathing probs. She then woke at 6.40. Now, that's more like it! Can anyone explain why I feel better, having got up for half an hour in the night?

I'm starting my own little sentimentals thread today, so those that don't like that sort of thing can just pass it by. As I held dd to my cheek today, before her morning nap (yes, she did only get up a while ago..) I just couldn't help rejoicing

mmk · 19/09/2007 09:09

Hope all you late risers (ha, that will be the day) are up and about. I'm off to do this blooming motorbike...

StealthPolarBear · 19/09/2007 09:17

octoandflash · 19/09/2007 09:20

Morning all

nothing to report here really - dh grumpy with work, ernie slept through and boys both at school this morning. I am getting a new downstairs toilet in two weeks as mine is so grim and my summer tan (mostly fake) has faded.

I am organising a green festival in my village again - its on sunday - so meant to be checking emails but am here!

Need cup of tea, cuddle with ernie and some toast.

Sorry to hear about your teeth wcl - sounds awful.

StealthPolarBear · 19/09/2007 09:23

does anyone want to buy my bumbo - ernie can get out of it ! email me on vickifinn at tiscali dot co dot uk. £23 inc postage please.

Ernie is such a smiler - mummy goggles firmly on!

StealthPolarBear · 19/09/2007 09:35

T still doesn't fit in his
legs too skinny so he just swivels round!

StealthPolarBear · 19/09/2007 09:35

octo from what I remember they do quite well on ebay

elkiedee · 19/09/2007 09:45

Morning all

Octo, Ernie is indeed very cute.

Hoping for a visit this morning and to get out later, though the weather's a bit offputting. If my friend backs out because of the weather I might really venture into Kings Cross.

DP's work laptop which he gets to bring home with him has broken down - they will pay for a replacement but we need to go and get one ourselves, and we'll take it with us when we're away. I think I'll probably still be online a lot less but we can't both go out late every night with D, or rely on cafe computer access.

mmk · 19/09/2007 09:58

well done spb. I loved reading the other messages.

CaptainDippy · 19/09/2007 10:25

Morning - feeling yukky - horrible cold - bleurgh!! Apart from that, all ok and I just went to Tesco and bought the new Shaun the Sheep DVD - My DD" LOVES Shaun the Sheep so she is going to be soooooo pleased!

How's everyone today?

elkiedee · 19/09/2007 10:31

Sorry to hear that Dippy. Are you and dd going to watch 'her' new DVD this morning?

CaptainDippy · 19/09/2007 10:55

Nope cos she is sleeping! Wish P was sleeping in a more settled fashion too, keep having to go in and out of her room this morning - Think she has my cold too, poor Bean! We'll watch Shaun this evening as a treat before bed if they are good girls!

How's you Elkie??

kneehighinnappies · 19/09/2007 11:30

Morning all, I am tired again today, i am getting close to the point where I strap Lola down in her cot so she doesn't rollover onto her front.
I mean why do it if you don't like being on your front and it makes you cry!!!!!! SHE IS MAD AS A HATTER

StealthPolarBear · 19/09/2007 11:33

not again KHIN
Doe she sleep during the day? COuld you try putting her down on her front so she gets used to it? Annoying, isn't it!! T can now roll over in his sleep - usually stays asleep luckily but sometimes wakes up when his head hits the mattress!
On a similar topic, usually he has his face to one side but every so often I've seen him face down into the mattress. Now the mattress is very firm, the sheet is pulled tight and there's nothing else in there, I don't think I need to worry but should I be? Also surely by now if he realises he's struggling to breathe he will move his head?

elkiedee · 19/09/2007 11:52

A bit bored but just had a call so D & I going into Wood Green for coffee with another local mummy friend and her baby.

D is finally having a nap so I hope he'll go back to sleep when I lift him into his pram.

See you all later.

StealthPolarBear · 19/09/2007 11:54

Have fun elkie
