Suzie's One Size

Elkie - I have a couple from Mothercare and a couple from Boots (all bought when on special offer). They seem to work fine tho haven't really been tested too much (on account of the pools being short-staffed ). There are more adjustable swim nappies available tho...Mother of Eden do one and Imse Vimse do one too.

nappynuttynormabutty · 18/09/2007 21:09

Jumblebums

Should have said that for example the Mother of Eden one fits from 0-2 years and can also be used as a trainer pant iyswim.

Woe is me (again). I had a root canal at the dentist yesterday and am in agony. My mouth would not numb up and so had 6 jabs, two in the roof of my mouth. I am on a liquid diet as cannot eat on the one side.

Leo is teething too, one bright red cheek so we are holding a pity party later.

runnyhabbit · 18/09/2007 21:20

Just hope he wont bite me it doesn't affect bf

nappynuttynormabutty · 18/09/2007 21:27

mmk · 18/09/2007 21:54

poor old wcl, that sounds nasty. Calpol all round then?

Now, about the Smart Nappy, is this the one for me then? is it any good?

Sexonlegs · 18/09/2007 22:01

Evening you lot. How many posts???

MMK, you have me in stitches with your posts - really humorous! We picked some blackberries at the weekend too, and I made apple and blackberry crumble which was yummy. Going to try and pick more before they die off. Obv. not now as it is dark...

Bramshott, good to see you, and glad N is settling at school.

Christ, completely forgotten everything else - how crap am I?

Have had one hell of a day. Went in to work for a 2 hour meeting and have done another 2 hours at home. Fortunately my parents came over and had K and picked B up from school. Mum also hung out washing for me and did a load of ironing - what a bloody star. And they took the girls to the park for an hour and a half so I could do more work. I LOVE THEM!

Love dh too - it is our 8th wedding anniversary today and he sent me a beautiful bouquet of lilies.

Sorry, a me me me post.

Hope you are well. Thinking about you and your dad Maveta. x

Off to bed now, as am trashed. Sodding cat woke us up at 4.30 this morning. Thought they were both shut away downstairs!

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2007 22:18

Happy anniversay SOL
(for yesterday as I assume you won't read this tiill tomorrow)
Well house is looking slightly better than a pigsty and we have two big empty (car) boots to stuff stuff in. Like the ironing and DH's guitars. Yes, that s was deliberate, he has only one pair of hands but 2 guitars.
At one point we had 4 computers in a house with only 2 people.

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2007 22:19

Now I think I see why we're running out of space ...

aloPesha · 18/09/2007 22:23

I'm back. turns out bab wasnt asleep. managed to grab a quick bath, fed him on bed and he fell asleep but woke up soon as i got up and doesnt seem to want to settle tonight

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2007 22:26

Can he sleep with you Pesha?
Better go - have been promising myslef an early night for days and this will only be earlyish xx

aloPesha · 18/09/2007 22:35

Yeah I was hoping to get im settled upstairs so i can come on here without him on my lap for abit but actually now he is sat in his bouncy chair looking around and all smiley But will take him up to bed with me soon and hopefully when we're tucked up he'll drop off - I'm sure I will!!

aloPesha · 18/09/2007 22:53

Ellie where have you gone??

Everything ok?

I'm gonna have to go bed soon, if you dont turn up I'll try again tomorrow!

leakyR · 18/09/2007 23:22

A baby who wakes every hour is no fun. I felt sorry for myself when it was every 2 hours.

Tonight I have tried formula, water and a dummy. he spat all out in disgust.

Dh is away. I reckon I'll crack soon and he'll end up in bed with me with easy (hourly access to my boobs.

StealthPolarBear · 19/09/2007 07:46

Morning!
Well after my boasting about sleeping for the last couple of nights I had a reminder last night that it was just a phase
Compared to leaky though it was fine!
Well, more housework
