just popping in quick...

Running round like said chicken without head today. Off on holiday tonight and nothing packed. Ahhh...

AND our flipping wahing machine broke last night, complete with a drum full of soggy pooy nappies. Cue mad rush to Currys to buy the cheapest in the shop. The fatal flaw of cloth nappies! I thought I might have to wash them by hand 1920's stylee... Ahhh!!! I love them... buut not quite that much

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2007 16:14

have a good holiday eca
Speaking of nappies, where is nutty, has she run out??

nappynuttynormabutty · 18/09/2007 16:25

Junior Joy prefold

I know the feeling Eca...tho I do have enough nappies to last almost a fortnight . Have a nice holiday.

We're going to ILs this weekend after all...dh was exaggerating about only being allowed to go for 20 mins . MIL will HAVE to let us use her washer for the nappies cos I'm f'ing well taking them (MIL has a bit of an issue with us using the washer...it costs money )

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2007 16:27

it costs money ???
Well yes, but for a couple of washes of her granddaughter's nappies
and is this the one who thinks we live rough oop north?

nappynuttynormabutty · 18/09/2007 16:42

Pea Pods

Yes SPB!!! . When we got back off holiday once she complained that we'd done some washing and used the tumble drier too (it was raining when we did it )

mmk · 18/09/2007 16:57

well I tried the blw today, and Rachel said she wanted lager and a packet of porky scratchings, so I told her to go to the pub and get them herself, CV would be proud of me.

weeonion · 18/09/2007 16:59

cv - was there not some controversy over here at the baby show at the weekend?????

mmk · 18/09/2007 17:04

thank you Ange for your donation, and lovely note wich arrived today.
I'm sorry for embarassing some of you. I wanted to let you know funds had been used properly, but fear that I may have made some of you uncomfortable.
There is now a bit left over in the fund, so I'll wait to see if any more comes in, and then donate as per whatevers..

Ive been re-hanging all the pictures on the walls today. They are all of us, with our treasured son, enjoying the gift of a child. Now, we are even luckier, and have pictures of the wombat too.

Can't wait for dinner, we are having scampi -because it was half price at tesco! Then we are having blackberry custard, with blackberries we picked. Yes, we spent all our life savings on IVF, and yet, one of the greatest joys is picking blackberries with our little family. (ohh stop it, getting sentimental again)
oopss, self absorbed post again, must try harder.

CaptainDippy · 18/09/2007 17:13

Boo! P had some of my carrot cake today ..... suck on eggs GV and CV!!!!!!

My children are in a routine (one I've vaugely enforced ... you've sort of got to when you have 3 under 3.5 imho); but I've never read a childcare book in my life .....

Anyway .....

Awwww, Pea Pod is my nickname for Phoebe!

I am tired.

How is everyone??

CaptainDippy · 18/09/2007 17:14

mmk - I sent my donation a couple of days ago so you should get it very soon, I hope!

octoandflash · 18/09/2007 17:15

weenees - have lots more if nutty is struggling!

hello

Have tried to keep up but have lost track completely. Hope all are okay and sleeping, eating etc well - ernie still not sleeping through.

Have decided to have coil fitted despite dh wanting another baby! I think he is barmy tbh He knows I am btw - not doing it without telling him!

Manic here at the moment.

octoandflash · 18/09/2007 17:16

childcare experts are all barking mad imho!

CaptainDippy · 18/09/2007 17:20

WOOF! WOOF!

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2007 17:22

pmsl at lager and pork scratchings
hi everyone
meant to be doing housework but can't remember what exactly i was meant to be tidying

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2007 17:23

Dippy that confused me for a sec

CaptainDippy · 18/09/2007 17:31
Grin
octoandflash · 18/09/2007 17:51

ernie just had pureed blackberries and bramley apples mixed with creme freche and it was yuuummmmyyyy

the only childcare person I used to like was Tracey Hogg - but tbh I think when you've got more than one there is alot more juggling and they just have to fit in!

aloPesha · 18/09/2007 17:57

SPB - if you cant remember what needs doing then it obviously doesnt need bdoing that badly! In my house it is blatantly obvious what needs doing!!

weeonion · 18/09/2007 18:19

hi folks. will do more "personals" later but - pesha - yr post about D was so lovely, as many of yr posts are. so nice and a lovley image - yr wee boy in the sling like he was when you were carrying him during pg. v like the 9 months inside, 9 months carried close outside idea.

nappynuttynormabutty · 18/09/2007 18:32

Clwt Twt Bambw

I am pissed off.

Dh was exaggerating about only being allowed to visit BIL for 20 mins . We're going down this weekend to MILs. I have all teh packing to do. I aslo have the house to tidy. I have to sort out Erin's old clothes that are too small to store them. I ahve to sort out making sure everything we need for the weekend clothes-wise is washe and dry. I have to make sure we don't forget anything. Dh was supposed to check about our veg box order on Monday (sdo there's time for them to alter it if they've fucked it up again) is it sorted??? n o is it hell...he says he'll sort it tomorrow . Has he put any of the stuff away that I asked him to? no. He did however empty the drier this morning and dump everything in a great pile on the kitchen table...therefore preventing me doing any studying til I've sorted it. Does he remember to take Erin's nice new bibs off before feeding coloured food...no, I have to remember to tell him. FFS I'm pissed off...

nappynuttynormabutty · 18/09/2007 18:35

Bluberries

Oh and add to that Erin is being a pita at the moment. She cries if I leave the room...ARGHHHHHHHH
