No F has no signs of thrush at all. I have checked her mouth again today, and she has no nappy rash either. I had thought maybe it wasnt thrush as it did seem to clear but not so sure now.

oooggs · 12/08/2007 21:31

will try and arrange to go, see what I can do.

Mammyjo - hope you get it sorted, how is the lovely F?

Hi sexonlegs - is B away?

haven't had chance to catch up so huge sorries if I have missed anything important

mammyjo · 12/08/2007 21:33

Hi oooggs, how are you? Hope all the dc's are doing well. F is great! Bit narky the end of the week, but she had had her last lot of injections. She has been lovely today though, she did her first laugh!

flashfinn · 12/08/2007 21:33

Gawd - what a day you've all had!

WCL - ernie was like that before he got his ear infection. Hope Leo is better soon. I have been playing duck duck goose with mine to day to wear them out - think I am more knckered than them tho! I will probably be working all three days - have yet to confirm with them - may just do two now dh has three boys to look after!

Mammyjo - hope you get better soon.

Was it runny who asked about nappies? What age? If for a toddler - would recommend motherease all in one or motherease bedwetters - just a couple of pairs should see you through - no need for liners unless he still poos at night. I think thats what your question was about!!!

CD - hope you are feeling better too.

Nutty - rescue remedy??

Forgotten everything else ...

Sexonlegs · 12/08/2007 21:35

Ooh, when is the Baby Show??

Oooggs, yep, B has gone for a whole week She is such a live wire that the house is so quiet and empty without her. I know I moan about her on here, and she is a pita, but she is also fantastic. Oh God, I am welling up again!

mammyjo · 12/08/2007 21:35

weeonion · 12/08/2007 21:37

Bottle feeding trauma ...

As you know have been humming and haaing about feeding and what to do - decided to bottle feed but then twice in the last two days have not had enough bottles on me and ernie has screamed all the way home He is just guzzling lots after being poorly. So went to feed him tonight and he refused the bottle and wanted norky - so whipped off top and bra and fed him myself I am such a sucker - no pun intended! So am now thinking will go back to what was doing before went away which was bf with food and the odd bottle when go out. I just feel I have caused a great deal of confusion for him - but he does like norky and it settles him down, its free and no screaming at crappola mummy moments. In hindsight of course - I should have bf him - but was lost in the screaming from the back seat.

I feel I have mad a decision now - just need to feed loads to get full milk supply back! .... It really is not like me to be so indecisive!

mammyjo · 12/08/2007 21:40

My let down is very quick and can be uncomfortable. I did speak to a midwife who said that around F's age the supply can change and so feel different. Hopefully will get somewhere tomorrow eh!

oooggs · 12/08/2007 21:41

sexonlegs - know what you mean, I count down all weekend til James goes to preschool then clock watch to go get him again, then wonder why I did

I went shopping today on my own (instead of tomorrow with dt's)

we are slowly decorating our bedroom (so we can go back to it and out of the nursery) I wanted something warm (duvet set & curtains) to go with cream carpet as it is a cold downstairs bedroom. Ended up with a wine set and am now going to do ivory walls, can't wait to be in our own room again.

Anyone still sharing with babes, or babes sharing with them!! Dts are 18.5 weeks where is the time going?

mammyjo · 12/08/2007 21:41

lol at norky

JoMa · 12/08/2007 21:41

baby show is in October I think?

oooggs · 12/08/2007 21:42

Baby Show is here

flashfinn · 12/08/2007 21:45

Mammyjo - sit in circle (or triangle in case of three of you!) Someone is it - they touch you on the head and say either duck or goose - when its duck you stay sitting, when they say goose you have to chase them round until they sit down back in the circle (triangle) - at which point it is your turn to duck duck goose. If you catch them it is their go again to do the duck duck goose.

This kind of works with big groups in circles or like us - sat on end of drive running madly round the close trying to catch eachother. It is great fun - and they desp want to be goosed!

Makes perfect sense!!!

Sexonlegs · 12/08/2007 21:45

Ooogs, snap! I just hope the inlaws stick to being diciplined with her, otherwise it will be a nightmare when she gets back.

FF, hope Ernie is on the mend still.

flashfinn · 12/08/2007 21:47
