JoMa · 30/07/2007 20:26

don't know oooggs, i'll email her a link to it so she gets it when she's back off hols as i'm sure she wouldn't have done that deliberately

leaky it's not, it's really funny! the leaflet says " puppetry of the penis is a mind blowing show featuring two strapping Australians who manipulate their manhood into various shapes, objects and landmarks"

JoMa - I didn't think dippy would have done it on purpose - we know her better than that. Just that she is being slagged off on another thread

AngeG · 30/07/2007 22:12

Hello All

Haven't remembered anything...sorry.

Just wanted to add - I agree Dippy wouldn't do anything like that on purpose...wasn't bubbaloo on our thread???

JoMa · 30/07/2007 22:17

not sure Ange, we have a bubblez, is that who you're thinking of?

DH was called back to Plymouth at 4.30 - don't think his mum is going to make it - please pray for her.

Katy44 · 31/07/2007 07:09

We will octo
I hope you're both OK, knowing it was coming can't be making it any easier

Katy44 · 31/07/2007 07:12

I bet the Dippy thing was her being a bit dippy and then the hotmail/yahoo email thing - that's been going on for ages!

Sexonlegs · 31/07/2007 07:53

Morning all.

Octo, hope you are ok. Thinking of you and your family. x

Think it is really off of Bubbaloo to be slagging CD like that. CD will be mortified.

Ange, how was the IoW?

Hi to everyone else.

Nowt going on here. Still feel pants, and feels as if heading on to my chest .

K is becoming a real chatterbox. She has found a new sound - a sound not dissimilar to a cat being strangled!! She thinks it is v funny!!

Back later. xx

bumble75 · 31/07/2007 08:05

Morning all,

Octo, thinking of you and your family.

SOL, hope you're feeling better soon hon

JoMa - glad the first day went well for you.

KHIN - LOVE the pharmacist story! Well done you!

I must confess - I have seen Puppetry of the Penis at the Edinburgh Fringe way back in 2001 when I first arrived. It is quite funny but also quite cringey - 2 blokes making their willies into all different shapes - definitely not for those of a prudish nature .

maveta · 31/07/2007 08:14

Thinking of all of you Octo xx

Sorry you´re not feedling too well SOKL, hope you feel better soon..

Dh back to work after his long weekend so I guess that means I should try and do some housework or something - yaaaawwwwwn - just waiting for my monster to drop off for his mid morning nap (sleeeeeep child.. sleeeep). He´s such a lovely little guy, lots of big gummy grins and cooing noises, so gorgeous I could eat him!

Thinking of planning a barge holiday in england next summer with the family, anyone done anything like that? If anyone has recommendations of where to go/ companies to use it would be great.

Hopefully meeting my boss today to firm up arrangements for when I return to work but she is notoriously flaky so not counting on it.

NearlyHeddaslessNick · 31/07/2007 08:29

oh octo I am thinking of you all

I woke up this morning seriously considering ebaying my dcs DS was up (as seems to be the norm at 4am) decided that he doesn't have extra bottles so maybe it's not hunger so would just give him his dummy and see if he went back to sleep. Tried this about ten times, gave up and gave him milk MEanwhile dd gets up and goes to walk downstairs, pretty sure she was acutally asleep.I finally get back to bed and dh joins the 'lets not let mummy sleep conspiricy' and pokes me in the head with his elbow(whilst still asleep)

So when I get up with ds at 7 it tell him to make up for his PITAness last night. He gives me a huge grin, aw how cute. Then he burps and chucks up all over me Not quite sure he understood the making up bit

We're going to stay at home today since I am so tired, but think we'll visit Leeds Castle tomorrow as my brother has given me free passes that are valid til April 08, woo hoo! Think i'll visit once a week at least during the school hols as there's loads to do and they've got a maze, kids maze, adventure park and loads more to keep her entertained.

Right off to eat breakfast 'see' you in a while

liath · 31/07/2007 08:32

Morning,

Octo, just adding my thoughts for you and your family .

KHIN - PMSL at you in that chemist. Seriously, though - having worked in Family Planning - we were always encouraged not to give people a lecture if they came for the morning after pill, but instead tell them how responsible they were being for coming in!! Lecturing just ends up patronising folk who know fine well what risks exist and puts them off coming back in the future. I expect pharmasists have a checklist of things they have to say, though.

Attempted to put ds in his cot to sleep last night but failed miserably to keep him in it. All I could here was him thrashing around and I couldn't sleep!! He has napped in it during the day, which is progress I suppose.

maveta · 31/07/2007 08:43
