Lesley - just seen ur post about nursery for G. The best one in the area is Kids Academy at the top of spen lane, pricey though , but still the best in terms of childcare.

Mammyjo - my thread on bfing problems might help, I got some great advice and lots of reassurance. D has dropped from 91st to below the 9th, its 'catch down growth' apparently and nothing to worry about. And what you eat, drink, how much you rest is important for you but makes no difference to your milk at all. Makes me so that so many mws and hvs say it does, make people feel guilty and end up giving up or supplementing when its not what they want. Stuff the lot of them i say!!

Although i will still keep getting him weighed cos i have to know, i cant help it, but i wont let it worry me.

I'm having a bitch of an afternoon I HATE RAIN, dd1 has been climbing the wall, she is such a PITA when she is over tired.
Ijust had to pack her off to bed with no story cause she was being a proper moaning little so and so.
L and Z are sitting in the swing's so I am still not going to do any house work I am going to take some mummy time and chat on here and face book.

What was the thread that got deleted about cod?

Kneehighinnappies · 04/07/2007 15:08

Ok so no one know's about the cod thing where is our joma when we need her?

Does anyone know a cook toddler friendly cook book?

Katy44 · 04/07/2007 15:31

As far as I can tell there was a new section called something like "What's so great about cod anyway", which has now been deleted, apparently lots of ppl started threads slagging her off and saying how come she can say what she likes and cliques etc.
The hillls thing is very sad - hillls has posted a lot and is (was?) anorexic. There was a message the other day from her account saying it was her friend, to let everyone know hillls had od'd and died. It turns out that all that may be a hoax and it's hillls herself posting it. But maybe not.

Sorry to put a downer on the thread
Bathroom cleaning!

geordiemacminx · 04/07/2007 15:31

I love a good gossip!!! Looks like sometrhing happened with Hillary too, not quite sure what that is all about either!!

KHIN - how are dp's kids getting on with the twins? No idea about toddler friendly cook books - I would head to borders or somewhere - they are bound to have loads - or try amazon? You could always post in the food topic?

LW - fancy meeting up next week?

Re breast feeding I am of the opinion that as long as a baby is warm fed and loved then nothing else matters - especially whether it is formula or breast - they'll all be eating the same in a few years time!!! C gets formula 3 or 4 times a week - if he is havig a particulary hungry day or if I am worn out - if he has a bottle then he takes about 7-8oz

I'm sat on the floor at the moment trying to bundle up maternity clothes that I have sold on ebay.... think I am going to end up loosing out as they are going to cost a fortune to post!!!

Katy44 · 04/07/2007 15:32

Right, am downstairs, T asleep upstairs, have the monitor down here, how can I hear a woman's voice?
spooooky

geordiemacminx · 04/07/2007 15:39

if it isnt digital then you will be tuned into someone elses monitor in your street... any other babies near by?

Katy44 · 04/07/2007 15:40

No, not in the 2 houses next to us
There is one across the road though, maybe it's that
weird

Funny thing GMM SS2 who was the one who had all the problems with the whole concept has been amazing i can't believe how helpful he has been, with DD1 when she was born he never went near her, now they are playing together and he helps out with the twins aswell
Guess his counseling is working.

Sorry you haven't had more luck with DP DC's, they will regret it when they are older. C is such a little cutie

What is it with the whole cod thing, why does she attract so much attention?
I can't say I thought that much of her when i ran into on a thread, she seem to me like one of those mum's who thinks that her way is the right way and nothing else will sway her.
Mind you I have only spoken to her once so maybe I am wrong.

geordiemacminx · 04/07/2007 15:51

LW - Course not!! do you wanna email me?

We've not bothered with a baby monitor yet... Cos c is in his moses basket still he's portable.. plus we dont exactly live inb a castle, so would hopeully hear him if he was crying... and if not then he obviously isnt crying loud enough

Where is everyone else??????

normabutty · 04/07/2007 15:54
