What time's your run? Mine's at 2 and I'm praying it's not hot!! No chickening out, it's not about timing it's about acheiving it (and we all know you can do it in good time, it's just you that thinks it's crap!)

Well, by 8am this morning I had done a big Tesco shop and packed it all in the cupboards. Boys loved it, Tesco was empty!!

Chloe55 · 08/06/2007 09:28

I sholud have been doing my RFL this weekend too but I have postponed until July because I won't be in the country woohoo!!! Getting very excited about my girly weekend now, just wish I was a stone lighter. I guess you don't get that unless you eat well though, eh?

Can't actually remember the last time I left the house for a run outside, I have done the odd 5/10mins on treadmill but that's it. I have decided that I hate running, I tried it for a few months and just never ever enjoyed or got into it enthusiastcally so am knocking it on the head as something I simply don't need to put myself through (other than RFL next month) I think I'll stick to gym sessions instead.

mustrunmore · 08/06/2007 10:14

Mine's at 11am. Am hoping for a light rain, but I suppose thats a bit too specific!

What am I getting thats breakable? Am intrigued Obv it'll have to stay in csws's house, well away from you drunken loons in the playhouse...

Chloe, tell me all the reasons you hate running, and i'll tell you why they're not valid

Flame · 08/06/2007 10:21

Yay - you didn't throw things at me

I think I like running (obv with the exception of the dying through the pain of having an old man's lung capacity...)

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 08/06/2007 10:35

Cant be bothered to throw things at you any more
BTW, what size feet have you got?

Flame · 08/06/2007 10:39

mustrunmore · 08/06/2007 10:53

Because I've got a great pair of trainers, that I only owre a handful of times. But they're a 6 I think. Will check. Slim chance of a 7, but I very much doubt it.

Flame · 08/06/2007 10:55

Hello all, life is kind of hectic so not getting on here much, just sticking my head in to say hello

Flame I just finished watching ER eating my lunch I cried

2boysmacca · 08/06/2007 14:08

I've not watched it yet! Please don't say what happened!!!

damewashalot · 08/06/2007 14:32

To be fair macca I cry at ER lots dh says I only think it's a good episode if I've at least had a little sniffle but...... you really need to watch it!

damewashalot · 08/06/2007 14:49

Anyone else sad enough to be looking forward to watching Joseph final tomorrow? just as long as Lee wins

Chloe55 · 08/06/2007 16:45

Yes me Dame - dh has booked tickets to see Joseph for our anniversary!

Chloe55 · 08/06/2007 16:49

MRM my reasons for hating running are:

  1. I feel like I am about to die after 7mins, then again after 12mins and this continues until I give in.

  2. Nobody wants to come running with me and I am bored on my own.

  3. If the weather is crap then I don't want to go out in it.

  4. Sometimes I feel like throwing up and I have a vomit phobia.

  5. I don't seem to be improving because I can't push pass the pain barrier on my own.

  6. I'm just plain shit at it.

Do I need any other reasons

Flame · 08/06/2007 18:39

Also cried

2boysmacca · 08/06/2007 19:08

OK. I have watched Monday's episode, is this the same as Thursdays? There was a point where E4 was showing it first but then it flipped and Channel 4 monday was the 'premier' so I have stuck with watching/recording Mondays. Without wishing to ruin it for everyone, Monday's was Neelam kissing various people?????? Am I up-to-date?

Phoenix · 08/06/2007 19:10

I'm back

Not read yet, but will be doing in a bit as Lew has just gone up to bed.

2boysmacca · 08/06/2007 19:10

Dame, I cry most episodes of ER too, which is why I record it so I can watch it alone. Dh has a habit of wanting to cuddle me, or thinking there is more to it than crying over a tv series. I know I'm being stoopid, but I don't need someone to give me sympathy

Going to watch Masterchef now.....

Flame · 08/06/2007 19:27

Yes, that's the one.

Phoenix · 08/06/2007 20:16

Ok, all caught up now but i can't remember everything

Chloe - hope the sunburn is better now.

Erm... I haven't watched ER for ages, not been watching Joseph but would love to go see it. chloe.

for money Frizbe, i've checked our bank today and we've got £13.47 to last us til next Friday. But luckily we've got a bit spare in our savings.

for weight loss MRM.

for nappy sales Flame.

Ds isn't that interested in tv really unless it has music on it. I can't stand most kids progammes anyway so it suits me that he won't watch them He does drop everything and dance to Emmerdale music if he hears it

that's all i can remember.

So our holiday was ok. There wasn't really anywhere to go near to the caravan park except a farm park which was really good we went there Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday we stayed around the park and outside the caravan letting Lewis run about with his football (which he screamed for until we bought him it in Morrisons) but even the Haven site was aimed more at older kids so there wasn't much for him to do but at least it saved us money and he was happy with his ball. It took us nearly 6 hours to get home today. It only took just over 4 to get there.

Our house is surrounded with scaffolding ready for the roofers coming on Monday and the attic is been done from Monday too

Gosh that's a long post for me

Jas · 08/06/2007 20:59

I'm back

We had a lovely break, and dp spent alot of time with the kids so we all enjoyed ourselves. The dds loved being allowed out unsupervised (to the swings, and one trip to the site shop for dd1) and we went on to the beach alot despit e the fact that the weather was not great. It was dry until today, when I packed the car in torrential rain....then unloaded and repacked it to fit the buggy in.....then unloaded it looking for my bank card (eventually found still in the caravan). I came home wrapped in a towel, wearing damp knickers and a tshirt as all my clothes were packed first!

I will try and catch up on the whole thread now. Back in an hour or two....

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/06/2007 21:05

It won't take you that long Jas - it's been very quiet. Welcome back to you both . Glad you both had good holidays.

mrm - slut. (I liked it so much last night, I had to do it again ).

Jas · 08/06/2007 21:30

I read it all, and like PG, can't remember much, but here goes...

Teeth are randomly brushed in the bath when I remember He does seem to like it, and still only has 7.

TV - Also fairly random. Since we killed the sky, the dds are wathcing alot less, and now I have mn, I watch very little. DS takes almost no interest in any tv at all at the moment.

I need to go and find the slut thread.

MRM - weight loss and improving running speeds sound good.

I've never watched ER, and saw Joseph for the first time last weeek. I have a strong and possibly irrational dislike of the blond guy.

Frizbe - dp has taken the last two weeks off work (unpaid of course) and spent money getting the car on the road. Our finances are looking very bad. (Almost all of the emergency fund will have gone by the time he gets paid again)

I also remember the sweetcorn vomit things, and really daon't want to know how to make them

at running Flame, but agree totally with Chloe. No running here.
I will cycle if the bike is still on offer though csws (?)(Did I say thankyou? If not then Thankyou)
