Ah csws, but thats only in your eyes, becuse I got different jeans You know, i think about you every time i tun, when it gets to the bit that goes 'girl in blue with the big bust on..' (xmas meet up)

Macca, you're very flattering. Funny how you come across to me as by far the fitter of the two of us I'm by no means a real runner. Its just one of the few things I can get a buzz out of, having done pretty much everything in life And its the only thing thats hard enough on my body to keep me thin, until now.
Er, and everyone looks like a knob running outdoors anyway, so arms up isnt going to make alot of difference!

mustrunmore · 27/04/2007 21:12

oops run that should say. My typing is getting worse and worse.

Chloe55 · 27/04/2007 21:13

I do do the arms up thing already and yes I look like a dick

mustrunmore · 27/04/2007 21:13

lol at csws with fake goods

Chloe, I had the headache from hell yeaterday (started during the night). Thery're not funny, are they? Sloped off to bed for an hour because it was dh's day off. It got better with a nurofen, so I did my run

PhoenixGirl · 27/04/2007 21:16

Chloe - look at the list, pick a name you like, bid for it by starting a thread in the auction category stating how much u bid, wait to see if you get it then pay your money to Mile for Maude charity

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 21:17

The thought of that aching feeling afterwards keeps me going. i just love it. I'll have you know, i look nothing like a knob when i run, more of a tit, round and wobbly!

mustrunmore · 27/04/2007 21:17

Oh, and I did think today after runnnig, that actually, I was only an hour and five mins away from runnnig my best half marathon time (ie 2hrs 5 mins). Obviously wouldnt have done the distance in that time, but it helped timewise to think I'm not so far away from good lengths.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/04/2007 21:18

Cheeky - I can assure you that they are not fakes!

How lovely that you think of my bosom so often mrm .

Chloe - the idea of the auction is to raise money for FSID in the name of Maude. Lots of people would like to have posting names that they can't have, because someone has already registered with them, but if they then haven't used them on the talk boards, they are now being made available for people to buy. For example, you might have wanted to post as just Chloe, but someone else had already registered it, so you had to add 55 to the end. If the person that registered Chloe hadn't posted, then that name would now be up for grabs, and you could change your name to that if you won the auction. Any clearer?

PhoenixGirl · 27/04/2007 21:19

csws explains it much better than me

mustrunmore · 27/04/2007 21:20

I love the ache. But havent really got it back yet Only a few blisters. The best ache is the one you get in the shoulder blades after a really long run, that feels like a bruise when you get dh to poke it with an evian bottle I really hope one of you knows what I mean, else I'm going to look even dafter than someone runnning with their arms up!

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 21:24

I would love to do the marathon but I am just not a runner. I prefer cycling more than running but I still haven't got me a bike.

What's everyone up to at the weekend now the weather is set to change for the best, again, we will be sorting the garden again, putting up a sort of pit around the play tower so that we can fill it with rubber mulch. We also have to go for our obligatory Saturday morning Starbucks . Dh is now asking to leave for football at around midday (kick off isn't until 4 so he can make 'luncheon' I thought he was watching the footie ffs!?

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 21:27

i get that with far too many bench presses, not running

mustrunmore · 27/04/2007 21:31

Ah, I did fall off the wagon today and treat myself to a double con panna. But only because dh sent me in there with a £20 note to get him a capp.

I'd love to just get to that point where I do a race, and just want to keep on running forever Could've easily done another few miles on top of the Great North.

Weekend; trip somewhere tomorrow, undecided as yet exeacly whre! Tomorrow night; round to a friends for a girls night while dh babysits again . Sunday; old neighbour round for the afternoon (old as in age and as in used to live next to her). Not a bundle of fun for the boys, that one But I am going to get ds1 to decorate a cheesecake for her (fruit and choc chips should do it).

mustrunmore · 27/04/2007 21:32

ooo, do you like the poke-a -briuse thing too then?!

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 21:33

Er no! Can't relate to you there love

2boysmacca · 27/04/2007 21:36

Night all, need another early night to prepare me for the morning. I just cannot cope with another 4.30 alarm call then a 5.30 siren! ds also has gone to bed without any pull ups and I'm not convinced he's gonna be dry. Will wkae him now for a wee before I hit the sack.

mustrunmore · 27/04/2007 21:36

Er, ok Maybe Flame will when she gets back over this way. You just stick to getting your kicks spinning in plastic turtle things

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/04/2007 21:41

Weekend - hmm, not exciting at all. dh is working so no idea what I'm going to do with dd in the morning, then I'm off to get eyebrows done in the afternoon, whilst dh and in laws look after dd. Then I'm off to pick up a kitchen for dd that I won on e-bay. And in between all that no doubt I'll be slaving over a hot stove and trying to achieve at least some housework.

Sunday I have a baby shower to go to in the afternoon - do you have to take a present to that - I really want to wait until she's had the baby and choose something gender specific (she already has a boy so I want something really girly if she has a girl). Again nothing planned for the morning as yet.

Flamesparrow · 27/04/2007 21:53

I know the bruise feeling... tend to not run though

PhoenixGirl · 27/04/2007 21:57

Oh good the running/exercise talk is over

Weekend - working tomorrow morning then shopping and my grandmas in the afternoon. Lewis is sleeping at my mums tomorrow night but we're not going out. Sunday we're clearing the attic out in preperation for the work we're having done (not looking forward to the tidying, it's a dump up there)

Bugger was going to put something else but i've forgot what it was

KelBelle · 27/04/2007 23:09

I'm going on a hen night dressed as a school girl tomorrow It's a dirty dancing night too so sounds like fun!!! Off at 5.30pm by limo, then dinner and dancing all night so should be fun. I'm getting a cold caught by DS so hopefully I wont feel too rotten. DH is having DS whilst I'm out, I am looking forward to it and kind of not if that makes sense. Hopefully I will be in a better mood than I have all week.

My 18-36 month Grobag has poppers on the shoulders and I have a John Lewis one that zips up the front.

Jelley · 28/04/2007 08:16

as I don't run(exercise at all in a niticable way) and don't have a gro bag for ds, I'm kind f glad I wasn't around last night

mrm - I will not confirm that you look terrible. I know you don;'t look the way you want, but the improved jeans help, and you don't look pregnant!

Up since 6. dp is going to spend the day shed building, so we will all be helping/going to the park to avoid the swearing, depending on how it goes.

Nothing planned for tomorrow.

Jelley · 28/04/2007 08:17

Kel - sounds like a fun night out. Enjoy

2boysmacca · 28/04/2007 08:47

Bad night here. We woke ds for a wee before we went to bed and he never went back down. At 10.15 he came into our bedroom saying he needed a cuddle. dh was moaning that he wasn't coming into our bed so I went and put him in his own bed and climbed in with him. He was a real chatterbox and we decided quite a few things, like putting daddy in the naughty shed if I found him eating my chocolate biscuits . I woke at 2 and went got back into my own bed. ds2 woke about 3 or 4 times and I left dh to sort him out. At 5.45 ds came into our bedroom saying he was cold and very wet. At 6.15 we were all up and having breakfast.

2 lots of washing been done already, one lot on the line. Now going for a walk into town to the butchers, and the market is on for veg and fish. All coated in P20 incase the weather forecasters have it right and it's hot hot hot hot.

Chloe55 · 28/04/2007 09:29

Yeah bad night for me too but mainly due to my headache, couldn't sleep much at all - still have a dozey head today but took some painkillers and hoping they will ward it off, going to inlaws for weekend and they always fill me with wine and food so don't like to feel rough and not be able to oblige

Kel your night sounds like a right laugh, wish I was coming with you!! I love dressing up and I love Dirty Dancing!

Off to Whiterose when ds wakes up from his morning nap.
