OMG - I'm knackered, just been spinning DS round and round in the garden for about 15 minutes!! I'm so unfit!! Have taken the dogs for a long walk today too though. Just put a little water in DS's turtle sandpit lid and he is soaked but is happy playing with that and the watering can. My mum gave me two little plastic garden chairs today that she had at hers and he has been really happy playing out there for ages.

at TTC too - I wanted another one and so did DH until he had his mid life crisis I have made a promise to make the most of DS though and it is getting me through it all.

Flame- I will have to recheck the size of sleeping bags, if it is the large one 18-36 months I could do with another one but I cant remember what size I gave you.

Chloe55 · 18/04/2007 18:14

I have just found out that my 'kind of' boss is an ex-porn star!!! Got chatting at work with a couple of girls who said she used to be a glamour model so I googled her name and found a video, maturbation, orgies, lesbian you name it!!!! I am dying to buy the vid because I am soooooo curious, I just can't believe it!

mustrunmore · 18/04/2007 18:40

I love that post csws; all the talk of ttc yucky details, then straight onto chicken casserole

Chloe, we once had a new cook in the works canteen, that dh recognised from lots of porn dvds!

I won somethnig again today!!!!!! 100g bar of 'organic theraputic chocolate made with essential oils using buddist principles' Its lemon and geranium flavour...

Flame; they dont exactly drop out, but I never run during my heaviest day as it feels like it might (since having ds2).

mustrunmore · 18/04/2007 18:41

Oh, and timing is very important to me macca. Not compared to anyone else (except dh), just for myself.

2boysmacca · 18/04/2007 18:48

But you're comparing yourself to when you were at peak fitness and then making yourself miserable. I do it to myself too, then try and rationalise it.

Better go and peel some spuds, get the washing in and generally have a tidy round before dh gets home.

The apprentice is on tonight, anyone else caught up in it?

mustrunmore · 18/04/2007 19:25

I'm not comparing to peak fitness, but to each in turn of a)how I was before I ever started running b)how I was when fit but not in training for a particular race c)how I was after having ds1. And even taking a sensible approach, things are stil grim!

Jelley · 18/04/2007 19:56

are you slower now than before you started running at all?
Your times must be improving, even if it isn't as quickly as you would like. There is no way you can be running and not getting fitter, surely. I'm sure you are getting more/longer runs in now than even a couple of months ago.

Kel - I couldn't spin ds for 15 mins...he is too heavy, and I would get dizzy and drop him!

Jelley · 18/04/2007 20:00

mrm - it was me that asked about tampax dropping out...I'd still go with the mooncup, but then I ^know& mine was worth it. (I had it bought for me as a birthday present)

I will ask my buddhist friend how she would make chocolate when I see her.

I agree enjoy one on one time all the first timers, but if you leave a big enough gap, you do (sort of) get it again.

Flamesparrow · 18/04/2007 20:03

I would most likely be a slower runner now than pre-children....

Forgotten most I have read

CHLOE - PUT THE CHOC DOWN!!! (you too ER!!!)

2boysmacca · 18/04/2007 20:09

If I had a 3rd, I'd think about trying around Christmas. If I left a bigger gap I'd be pushing 40! If I left a 3 year gap I'd be dealing with a 3 year old with a newborn (and I'm not coping that well with a 3 year old now). 2 years would be good Was your gap intentional?

mrm. being n years older also makes a difference

I have a dilemma. I haven't been to the gym in a fortnight. Do I go for a run tomorrow, go to the gym tomorrow or lay off both since I have my first pilates class in the evening?????

Dh making me a cuppa so as soon as it arrives I'm gonna wander over to the sofa and watch Property ladder.

2boysmacca · 18/04/2007 20:10

Can I keep on nibbling my biscuit?

Flamesparrow · 18/04/2007 20:24

Lay off both - pilates can be brutal sometimes apparently!

Flamesparrow · 18/04/2007 20:25

You can only keep nibbling if you throw me one

PhoenixGirl · 18/04/2007 20:31

Once we get this work done on the house bedroom wise we'll be all set to have no. 2, then there's just the small problem of me only just having a period since November

We've got a quote from the joiner today so we're getting the work done starting June 11th, so the attic, once it's done, will be Lew's bedroom and what's his now will be spare and all ready for a new baby

We've got another roofer coming to quote on Friday so hopefully this one will turn up.

2boysmacca · 18/04/2007 20:38

Too late Flame, scoffed the lot. M&S dutch shortcake. Delicious Can pour you a glass of vino though...

Flamesparrow · 18/04/2007 20:45
PhoenixGirl · 18/04/2007 20:50

dh is on nights so i just made me ravioli(from a tin) with grated cheese on. mmmm (not)

Jelley · 18/04/2007 20:50

Oooh wine

Agree to lay off both and save yourself for pilates (note the woman who admits to NO interest in healthy exercise still fel able to dish out advice

Gap was sort of intentional. I didn't want another 15 month gap, and by the time I had given up trying to convince myself that I didn't want any more, dd2 was 4. It took almost 9 months for me to fall for ds, due to not having sex at all during the appropriate weeks most months

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/04/2007 20:51

I'll take a glass of vino whilst I read the thread!

Jelley · 18/04/2007 20:52

Tinned ravioli [ bleurgh]

I had a bag of wotsits for tea. Much more healthy

PhoenixGirl · 18/04/2007 20:57

And for dessert, mullerlight yogurt and a packet of walkers cheese and onion crisps

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/04/2007 20:57

See it took you 9 months due to not having sex at the right time. It took me 7 months having copious amounts of sex always at the right time (was charting basal body temperature then too macca ), and I thought that was good after the 3.5 years doing the random sex thing. I don't think there is a right gap, so I'll take as small a one as I can get.

Get you moaning about pushing 40 macca. dh is already older than that!

I ate tonnes of ravioli from a tin when I did slimming world pg! I even had it for breakfast some days .

I'm following the apprentice macca, but as usual will be watching a bit behind the live show.

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/04/2007 20:58

Does anyone here have a pair of crocs?

PhoenixGirl · 18/04/2007 21:03

No to crocs i think they look hideous sorry. My friend says they're the comfiest things she's ever put on her feet though.

2boysmacca · 18/04/2007 21:06

Nope. Birkenstocks here!

I'll remember that csws when you do do crap pregnancies

I had chicken, tomatoes, garlic and basil casserole type thing with mashed spuds. It was delicious.

Tinned ravioli. Wait while I just heave up my shortcake
