at least you managed to get out of it! that would definately have been gross!

saralou100 · 12/02/2007 14:53

saying that, when dp said they had turned a nice colour, my response was show me, show me! but i'm sick like that!

ryan just had his injections - cried like a baby... me that is... he wasn't much braver!

staceym11 · 13/02/2007 15:41

where is everybody today?!?!

i feel all lonely!

well i have recently started looking (and now posting) on the good housekeeping - Fly threads. and oh my god is it brilliant, its all about baby steps to making things happen, well its amazing, somehow i seem to be doing more and yet spending more time with the dc at the same time, i don't get it! but my house looks better and i feel better too, it's really helping with the routines!!! would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who needs a little bit of a kick up the bum on the housework front! it's about progress not perfection!

right after going on about that i must go and put ds's bum back on before he poos everywhere (again)!!!

staceym11 · 13/02/2007 21:55

hello! think its just us three today? have the all run away together and left us?!

fatbetty · 13/02/2007 22:29

Just dropping in to say hello.

I've signed up to the Flylady website and get loads of tips and reminders to shine my sink but I never get around to reading the emails (think I would be there all day!). Definately need the kick up the arse so will have to check out the thread.

Hope you all are well. Managed to have Madeleine weighed today - it's been 6 weeks since I did it last (where has the time gone!) and she is 12lbs 2ozs. Bless!

Off to bed now!!

Mummy2TandF · 13/02/2007 22:34

Hi - I have been on MN but have been a bit pre-occupied with a thread I started sorry - Stacey, I will defn take a look at thoses threads you metioned - I seem to be spending less and less time with the dc's because of the housework - It's the washing that gets me! Mygirl - I don't know how you keep on top of it - there are only 4 of us

saralou100 · 14/02/2007 07:56

morning!

staceym11 · 14/02/2007 09:03

mummytotandf i started last week, got it all cleared in one day and now i do a load every morning, and sometimes end up with not enough to do a load, really keeps on top of it. the dcs sheets go in during the week with whatever load they should go and i change our bed a weekends and do 1 extra load.

dh is amazed our linen bin is nearly empty and the load i put on in the morning is dried sorted and put away by the time he come home, usually that is! lol

i'm tired. if you haven't slept on a cotbed before i don't recomend it. yesterday had to pick up ds1 from nursery as his temp was 39.6 and it was raging again at midnight.. he kept crying for mummy so i ended up falling asleep in his bed - woke up a couple of hours later, numb and in pain!

mygirl, ds1 has tried ordering porn thankfully it is pin protected i'd take it out of her pocket money or make her work it off (childlabour rates of course!)

stacey, come tidy my house, i've lost the will to clean!

Debbsyandson · 14/02/2007 14:15

mygirl, thats brilliant!!! your one evil mummy!!! love it

ds1 is under the influence of calpol today.. one minute tearing round the house like the crazy dude he is... the next he looks all red eyed and sorry for himself and wants mummy cuddles... i think it's his teeth, he's like this everytime another one appears... when will teeething ever end!!! and just as he's done, ryan will start!!

NatalieJane · 14/02/2007 15:58

Hello everyone

Sorry has been a while, have been busy, this computer has had it so I have been scouting around looking for the best deal for a new one, I think we are going to go back to Dell though to be honest. And I have been even busier checking out where to go on holiday this year, it will be the first time we have been in August, but we have to now because of DS being at school, so I am trying to find somewhere that is nice and hot but not hot hot hot so the kids can stand it. It will be our first one since 2005 so we are quite excited about it!!

We are off down to my mums this weekend, the first time since George was born (she came up here to see him just before Christmas) I think we might have to dust off the suitcase!!

Right I am off to order this computer, I have had enough of this one, it has frozen too many times!!

xxx

Hi everyone, is anyone using re-usable nappies?

I've just brought a birth-potty training set off ebay, im fed up of buying nappies, its winding me up no end!!! this set should do dd till potty training and ds till he's potty trained too.

is there anything i really need to know? I know i've gotta get a nappy pail, and gotta find somewhere to hide it in my pokey little flat!! is there anything else? how much expense is there once they are brought (do i have to keep buying solution stuff, some comes with it i think, dunno what this does!)

im a bit thick about it all really!

KaybeeandZak · 15/02/2007 19:35

Hi Stacey, I don't know much about them as we are using disposables, but try this
