ds can wriggle round on the floor but hasnt got to rolling over yet!

dd didnt even roll over till after she was crawling! and that was at 9 months, so im not holding my breathe!

NatalieJane · 09/02/2007 11:56

George can wriggle up his travel cot and turn around to lie across it rather than down it if you get my drift?!! He has rolled over from his back on to his side but I think he does it purely accidently, and he hasn't done it on a hard surface, mainly on the bed, he kind of swings his legs and his body just naturally follows!

DS1 came out with the funniest thing last night, we were sat on the floor playing with his lego, he stood up to get a drink and said "Mum, I've got bits and bobs in my foot"... he meant pins and needles LMAO We were rolling around the floor in stitches!! Thought I'd share!!

BTW, I am not ignoring everyones worries with feeding and sleeping, I just don't have any advice Must say though that aren't you all a clever bunch of mummys? Even the problems that have cropped up you have all managed to find solutions to make it better for your LO's. Well done!!

NatalieJane · 09/02/2007 11:57

ds is a dribbler too

(charlee i posted on the other thread)

i can feel his teeth in his gums (have been able to since birth) and they appear to be moving (from the screaming sometimes) but they dont acctually appear to be coming.

dd got her first 2 at 6 months and she ate everything in site from 12 weeks (lumpy food) and chewed everything so im not so sure his will appear soon1

podglet · 09/02/2007 16:03

Have posted on other thread for you Charlee but have a hug here too ((hug))

NJ - LMAO at your ds1

Mummy2TandF · 09/02/2007 16:20

Oh Charlee - my thoughts are with you hun, my mum thinks my nephew might have cf, so I supose we will have to go through the sweat test etc soon Hugs for you and your boys though
NJ - they really make you laugh don't they, yesterday ds was a little comedian - he had me in stitches, bearing in mind that he is only just 2 I asked him to do something for me and he said "10 minutes mummy I am a little bit busy at the moment" I was a bit though because I must say that to him and when dh got home from work he asked ds for a cuddle and ds said "I just need to change out of my work clothes" ... the things that go through their minds hey! I have ds's 2 year check on Monday and a question on the questionnaire is can they say more than 10 individual words .... um, yes me thinks he can - little tinker

staceym11 · 09/02/2007 16:25

mummy2tandf, dd said to me yesterday when asked to come out of here room for lunch 'no mummy i'm too busy playing at the moment! i was too! and must be the age huh?!?!

Debbsyandson · 09/02/2007 19:06

Charleesunnysunsun · 10/02/2007 18:23

Hi everyone.

First off let me thank you all for your kind words.

Debs your DH is being a bit of an a**ehole you should have a aerious chat with him about how he is making you feel and his alck of work around the house and helping out with your DS. Your leg sounds so painfull i really hope things sort themselves out for you. Hugs xxx

I'm glad to see everyone else seems to be doing ok, forgive me if im wrong but i haven't been able to read all the posts from whiles i was away.

Harry is doing wel he is 12lb 3oz now at 13 weeks. He is full of grins and giggles!
He has a set bedtime routine and sleeps weel in his own cot from 6pm untill 12 midnight then comes in with us and sleeps the rest of the night, he does wake up at 5.30 to get up but hey you can win them all!

I have started my driving lessons which are not nearly as bad as i firt thought and im doing ok.

Jack is ok loving his new high fat diet! He's a start at playschool and has really started to get stuck in with the other kids, playing and joining in which is great. He's taking everything in his stride like a real little trooper im really proud of him.

I'm fine still no period but i assume that's from breastfeeding 99% of the time.
I'm tired but coping well at the moment.

Charlee, glad to hear that despite everything you are all thriving!!

Debz, Your hubby (notice i dont include d either!) is being an arse. i had a set to with dh a little while ago coz i asked him to steralise the bottles for me and he said he was too tired!

after i explained how i feel and what i do etc etc etc it all sorted out and now when i ask him to do stuff he generally does it!

you need to have a chat with your hubby and get him to buck up his ideas or it looks like going would be your best bet!! i know its so hard. but it may just be a big shake up for him having a baby too (i know that it is for you but men seem to not be able to cope with change) think you'll have to give and ultimatum and stick to it!

Debbsyandson · 10/02/2007 20:20

Debbsyandson · 10/02/2007 20:20

morning all!!

went to a friends wedding at the weekend and got very very very very very very drunk! i would like to highly recomend it! mum & dad looked after the boys for us, our first night off in aaaaages! i did miss them though, phoned about 5 times to check all was ok.... then when i got home (at 3am) imagine me, stumbling into their bedroom, doing loud stage whispers, shushing the world aroud me so i can look at my baby... before being swiftly escorted to bed by my mother lol, it was a great weekend.. even the hangover was good!

debs, i have just read your thread... glad you sorted it all out now! i could have written all that 2 years ago when i had ds1.. we joke that that dp became egyptian and moved to de-nile (geddit?) cause he certainly wasn't here helping me! but thats it - we joke now! 2nd time round he was slightly more understanding and helpful!

ryan has his injections today and dp has his stitch removed
his balls are a lovely colour - lmao

have to go clean ds1 up now, whilst sitting here he has coloured himself in, rather than his colouring book!

staceym11 · 12/02/2007 08:54

morning everyone,
glad you had a good weekend sara!

well, we had a good weekend sorted most the flat out yesterday, got loads of stuff thats going on ebay, but also sold a load over the weekend. getting all the baby clothes on there slowly, doing job lots coz it just wasn't worth it selling seperately!!

right must go find dd some clothes for the day i suppose!
