pixie you do make me laugh Grin

I fell off the Fred Sad. Mastitis has cleared up. I am still BFing Hmm it's a vicious circle, I swear off it when I have mastitis but have to feed to clear it and then once I feel better I feel guilty for wanting to quit. BFing is a mind fuck.

I can't remember who asked about routines but we have one of sorts - we just fell into it really. Started with bath and bedtime and went from there.

S wakes and feeds around 7am, refuses to nap and so I put him in the sling at 9am and either go for a walk or do chores round the house for an hour.
He feeds again at about 10am and then I usually go out so he will perhaps nap in the pram/ car.
He feeds again around 1pm and again will nap in the pram/ sling.
He will then feed at around 4pm and again at 5.30pm ish. He might have a short nap in my arms after one of these feeds.
Bath at 6.45pm, feed at 7 and then down for the night at around 7.45/8 (sometimes later if he fights sleep). After 7 the lights are off and we keep things quiet.
I do a dream feed at about 10.30/11 and then he has been waking once in the night for another feed.

I am sure this will all change soon Smile

S has been such a happy little boy for the past week or so. He has found his voice and will happily garble away for half an hour. So cute. My heart melts when he does it Grin

Off to find that thread la

RPopz · 11/11/2015 18:53

You could buy my house snap - that'd solve all our troubles Grin We've accepted the low shit offer but now they're dithering. Hoping one of the other viewers will put a better offer in by Friday! Had an offer accepted on a house so just need to sell! Raasrrggh. I actually feel a bit ill with the anxiety of it all this week. I really am not good with stress Hmm

I totally get you fleur... Minipopz's teeth are a killer. Everyday recently I think I'm going to give up and then we have one nice snuggly feed and I'm all like "aaawwwww

LaLaLaaaa · 11/11/2015 19:26

Eeek Popz that's exciting!!! Just hold your nerve, hopefully this is it! Grin

Fleur you fucking trooper!!! Superboober! Most impressed at S sleeping with only one wake up. I do wonder whether to do dream feed but it failed dismally last time and at least this way I know I get through to 1 ish. God he's knackered at the moment though and very very grumpy with it - but then like a switch goes on he changes into this gorgeous smiling boy. Leap 4 = cuntleap

I've noticed loads of new stuff though - he looks at other babies now and he looks at himself in the mirror

LaLaLaaaa · 11/11/2015 19:28

So glad P didn't shit herself pixie!!! Your R sounds like B - he's fucking humongous. Met up with 12 friends and babies today. He was one of the youngest but largest baby there by 3lb and that included a 6 month old

PixieChops · 11/11/2015 19:48

Bloody hell La he does sound like a whopper!
Good luck with the house sale popz hope it goes well
You are an inspiration Fleur with breast feeding, Christ I gave up after 6 hours when Poppy was born
I'm curently lay in bed. I'm so tired, had a mad busy day training at work this morning, the came home to do cleaning, lunches etc, nap time for the kids followed by more cleaning by me and then having to go for my flu jab. Just on my way home and ST rings and says he wants picking up from the job he's on. God I can't wait for him to start driving! His theory test is on friday. He better pass or I'll kill him.
Changed my pill as I realised I was on a mini pill again even though I was told its combined! Fuming I was!!
My arm hurts and I need to do some weird hippy shit for prosperity as it's the full moon and we always need a bit of extra help with finances at this time of year. Crystal grids is what I'm doing. Fx it works.

pixie you poor back he must be killing it!! E is 22lb and 15 months! Although tbf he hasn't really put on weight for a while! Is he long with it?

My friends two year old is the same height and weight as my other friends 1 year old Grin

popz no surprise if its his first time with strangers, fx his settling in sessions help next year :)

fleur you have to do what is best for you and lo.

Pisghetti · 11/11/2015 20:41

By my super scientific method of getting on the scales by myself and with BabyPis I estimate she's between 16-17lbs at 7.5 months so thems some big boys! I'll find out next week as we have the HV coming Hmm

She should have been asleep 40 mins ago but couldn't look less sleepy Angry

PixieChops · 11/11/2015 20:45

He looks enormous cookie and he's quite long- he fits perfectly into a 6-9 month grow however the poppers are a bit strained. He'll have outgrown them though in a couple of weeks. Definitely by Xmas he'll be in 9-12 month clothes at 6months old. He's being weaned as well at the moment and is loving food. I left him till 17 weeks and just started giving him bits of puréed food. Now he has a full dinner and pudding afterwards. Going to start introducing breakfast this week I think. He has to be fully weaned by 7th December when he next sees the dietician so no pressure.

Wish these fireworks would fuck off to the other side of fuck! Is it allowed that I go and find out who's setting them off and tell them to shut the fuck up?! They aren't waking the kids but the noise of them is really starting to get on my tits

LaLaLaaaa · 12/11/2015 05:57

B is in 6-9 month clothes at 15 weeks Confused
My back is shot to pieces from carrying him all day, I can't wait until he can sit up

Last night he went from 7-4! I've no idea why! He stirred at 11 and I put dummy in. After that I zonked out until I heard a whimpering at 4am. He had a huge feed, slept an hour then wanted another feed then did massive poo. He looks very pleased with himself and is shouting in baby babble which has woken dh up just in time to do the nappy

LaLaLaaaa · 12/11/2015 06:11

Pixie I hate fireworks too! B slept through then then some wankbadger bought a souped up penis extension car and drives it up and down just after b goes to bed. It's woken him up loads! I'm tempted to ram the jets up the guys arse

LaLaLaaaa · 12/11/2015 06:11

Keys not jets

LaLaLaaaa · 12/11/2015 06:12

Is there anything I can safely put on babys face? B has sore mouth from dribbling - under and around mouth

PixieChops · 12/11/2015 06:41

Bepanthen, it'll act like a barrier against dribbles.

Stick a potato in his exhaust if you ever see the car on its own. Makes a huge bang and is quite satisfying Wink should shit him right up.

LaLaLaaaa · 12/11/2015 08:40

Is it safe if he licks it?

Pisghetti · 12/11/2015 08:58

I used coconut oil on BabyPis' chin

DulcetMoans · 12/11/2015 09:02

I was getting annoyed at fireworks, though a week after bonfire night was a bit rude, but then I saw it was Diwali so makes a bit more sense. Does mean it could carry on for a while.

Can't help with routine toast. It's a house of chaos and mess here!

Well done for ploughing through fleur!

Poor baby popz! But it's probably not representative of how he will be in the future. He will probably love it!

So J is asleep. I put him down for a nap about 8.15am. Very unexpected! I are breakfast with both my hands!

Toast85 · 12/11/2015 12:02

Waitrose bottom butter smells divine! I've not used it on Melba yet and I'm considering keeping it for myself. Sorry la no idea if it's ok to put on minila's face though (and if you did you might be tempted to eat him it smells so lush).

RPopz · 12/11/2015 13:40

Could use Lanisoh La?

So the house is ours but only if we have an offer by 4pm on Friday!! I'm dying here!!!

Pisghetti · 12/11/2015 19:29

Good call Popz! We did use coconut oil but now you've said that it reminded me that it didn't actually clear up until I started using Lansinoh!

Good luck Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 12/11/2015 19:46

Is Lansinoh ok to use on baby skin?

Pisghetti · 12/11/2015 20:23

Yes it doesn't need to be wiped off before you feed so it goes all over their face when you use it.

RPopz · 12/11/2015 20:54

I should think so, they eat it really don't they! x

LaLaLaaaa · 12/11/2015 21:24

Oh god am I thick or what?!?? That was pretty obvious!!!

He has a rash all over his belly too that I need to treat. Nothing sinister, it's from doing massage twice a day, I think I need to use more oil or different oil. It's been there ages and doesn't get any better. Skin is all dry and scabby looking :(

DulcetMoans · 13/11/2015 07:27

The heat is on then popz! How many viewings do you have today? Hope you get it all sorted by 4!

Does his skin irritate him la? Or just not nice to see? I don't really have any suggestions except bung some breast milk on there, that cures everything!

PixieChops · 13/11/2015 09:04

What oil is it La that you're using on him (I'm an aromatherapist so can give you a bit of helpful advice hopefully)
