Mzzzf - that place looks INCREDIBLE! I've sent the link to DH, nothing like a subtle hint Grin

Frolicacid · 05/11/2015 11:08

Mugabe!!
Well, the shitstorm seems to have eased a little. Poor dog! The vet doesn't think it's anything serious, which is the main thing. I spent all day yesterday cleaning up the yard or changing nappies. Ds watched a lot of YouTube baby sensory Blush

I've been reading, but there is so much to catch up on! Thank you for your well wishes. And thank you for making me crave a big, dirty fry up when I'm supposed to be eating healthily!

Was it dozy who suggested a trade off of a beach holiday here for some help with the shitstorm?! I'm well up for that! The beaches on our doorstep are all lovely.

Bra's - jockstar, my rib cage definetly expanded in pregnancy. It's slowly going back to normal now. Have a look at some of the bra intervention threads in the style and beauty topic for ideas about measuring.
And you are a very naughty woman for telling us about those b toys!
I hope today is better for you. Last night sounds brutal.

mzzf, I will definetly be looking at those cabins. I need a holiday so badly.

I love the pic of Molly asleep by the washing machine fanby. I may try that later. Ds is now firmly of the opinion that sleeping in a moving car or pram is fine, but sleeping at home in the day time is for wimps!

Re: latch and positioning. Ds has had a great latch from day 1. It's nothing I've done, just the way he was. But he will occasionally only take a really shallow bit of my left nipple. Tickling his chin seems to help him open up further.
As for positioning, I feed at home with him laying across a pillow. He likes his arms in the air. I've not had any success with any of the other holds. When we feed out and about he wriggles because he seems to hate me having to hold him! He's also very nosy. I do make a pillow with the blanket and I'm hoping things will improve when he has better head control.

Right, I better tackle some washing and housework that has been severely neglected this week. Rock and roll!
I hope you all have a good Thursday Smile

Glad frolicdog is feeling better. Poorly pooch! Leave the housework and have a sofa day, you deserve it x

Oh he's so scrumptious!!!! Don't worry you're not alone in not being able to relax in mess, I too unfortunately share this weakness!

I totally need to introduce molly to some dolly!! She's a big fan of the Beatles and Whitney so far...and awful songs like cheeky girls and the macarana (how do you spell that?! X

loveandsmiles · 05/11/2015 13:19

frolic too cute - looks like he is dancing in his sleepSmile. I am like you - cannot sit down and relax in a mess - bliss when house all tidy. Baby and toddler both sleeping, house cleaned and I am relaxing with a giant jar of Nutella for lunch (very healthy!). Wish you hadn't mentioned Nutella mzzzf - put me right in the mood for it, had to go and buy a jar this morning - will either have to finish or hide it before other DCs get home from school - definitely NOT for sharingGrin

giraffe we have no set routine for DD - she just has to fit in round everyone else - everytime she opens her eyes she is in a different place with different people staring at her!!

hope everyone who hasn't been feeling great, feels better today.

DD been asleep in moses basket now for 4 hours - why doesn't this happen at night?!?

Fanby · 05/11/2015 13:32

Wow wish we could do a 4hr nap! You enjoy that Nutella, I'm about to tuck into a chicken korma Grin.

DH and I are going to attempt an evening walk to see if we can spot any fireworks later. I'm such a big bonfire night fan, we decided against going to a display in case molly doesn't like the bangs Hmm

FattyNinjaOwl · 05/11/2015 13:33

Well my night was awful. DD is teething so she was up in pain all night, and she woke DS2 up, so the only person to get any sleep was DS1.
DS2 had his jabs today. I was secretly hoping they would knick him out, but no such luck.
And then just to piss me off, DD has serious diarrhoea. All down her legs as it leaked from her nappy. Gross...

FattyNinjaOwl · 05/11/2015 13:33

Why does everyone have better food than me?

Fanby · 05/11/2015 14:43

Fatty, I'm sending you my korma, you sound like you need it way more than me xx

FattyNinjaOwl · 05/11/2015 15:31

Aw thanks fanby. I will share banoffee pie with you later Grin

Frolicacid · 05/11/2015 15:55

Stop making me hungry!! I can't leave the house incase the dog shits everywhere. All I've had is a boring tuna jacket! We are definetley having something dirty for dinner and a big fat pudding when dh comes home.

Ds did another nap in his chair. Yay! The bunny on his face seems to do the trick.

fanby, ds loves a bit of jolene! I don't know if you are a friends fan, but I may have experimented this morning to see if sir mix A lot's "I like big butts" made him smile like it did to baby Emma. And it worked!
I think I need to get out more!

Hide the Nutella loves! It won't do the kids any good - you are totally doing them a favour by eating it all yourself.

I hope everyone gets better in your house soon fatty. You really have had bad luck these past few days.
I think we are all ready for this crap week to be over.

We don't have any routine at all giraffes. I like to call it baby-led, some might say chaos. We have a busy month ahead and then it will be Christmas, so I'm not even thinking about trying to get one sorted until the new year.

We have what I like to call organised chaos. Grin its chaotic, but we sort of know what we're doing
I am definitely ready for a new week.
My DS likes all sorts, heavy metal (like mummy) and some raving tunes. Grin we love dancing round like nutters. And it wears the DCs out so win win.
