pirate party pics for mrm

Frizbe · 19/11/2006 21:27

Cool pics MRM if you can get to Debenhams they've got some nice new stuff in Next had a nice jammy set too, but they'd sold out of 'normal' sizes, in fact they'd sold out of the whole range bar size 8 (hello) in the ones I liked (purple n black set)

Frizbe · 19/11/2006 21:28

Jelley thanks for posting the pics glad ds is feeling better, righty off to throw self into bath, later ladies!

flamesparrow · 20/11/2006 07:33

Thankyou Jas. Your nappies look great and will be in the post as soon as my shopping arrives

for poxy children still/again.

MRM - a long satin job (as long as it is the right fit - not too big, not too small) should cover the bumps nicely without looking tent-like . I got a gorgeous one from debenhams about 4 years ago and it was a good "classic" style so still looks nice now.

Grandad He is very very confused, his sugar levels are getting worryingly high, and we don't know if my gran is bright enough to adjust his insulin to match his sugar or if she just gives him a set amount each day regardless. They are both too subborn to leave their home to go somewhere with more support, and they live too far away for my mum to be of any regular help. I don't know how much longer they will manage The parrot was sooo pleased to see him home though - he sat down in his chair, opened the cage, and fell asleep with the parrot on his arm, both snuggled in together

My babies are doing ok. We seem to have settled into a feed about 11ish, and then nothing til about 4am. DS decided to wake me at half six by diving on me because he'd spotted a free nipple .

Parents evening tonight... it'll be interesting to actually speak to DD's people and see how she is getting on (and just how much time she does spend with Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaason and if its a bad thing!!!).

mustrunmore · 20/11/2006 08:22

Ah, flame, thats a lovely image of Grandad and parrot Sorry things are still rubbish though.

Yesterday, when wew were all playing Buckaroo, I was on the settee, ds1 and dh onthe floor, and ds2 in his arms. Ds2 saw me in my jamas, thought he might be in with a chance ofa suckle, and threw himself across the back of dh's shoulder and through the air to get to me. He was totaly horizontal in mid air, just with dh holding his ankles!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2006 14:56

Oh no for pox Frizbe!
How's Ben doing now 3K?

Flame - hope grandma surprises you by adjusting insulin. Lovely story re parrot.

Am already fed up of being bitten whilst feeding! Managed a quick feel with my finger earlier and it's def risen more since Saturday. Wondering if the novelty will wear off, or if I'll be deciding that I don't like bf any more soon. Hopefully the former.

TicTac · 20/11/2006 18:55

Hi for the pox frizbe. DD is ok now, thanks for asking

I am struggling at the moment. I have had quite an emotional weekend and have been poorly but all the same...I am feeling really emotional in general. I have just spent the entire bath time staring at DD and crying. Happy stuff...just love her so much and she was so "wanted" that I still feel over whelmed.

I am off observing classes again tonight...will try to get back on here later.

flamesparrow · 20/11/2006 20:52

Oh that's really nice TicTac

DH tells me I missed DS's first step... I have my doubts though (not just because I'm refusing to have missed it) - he said he stepped towards the stairs, and if he did his half step/fall thing, then he would catch himself on the stair and it would look more successful purely because he had less distance to fall iyswim.... watch this space!

Where is everyone anyway??? You all meet up and decide not to come on here anymore????

mustrunmore · 20/11/2006 20:55

I'm here Everyone has vanished, so I've been lurking on ebay instead.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2006 21:07

I'm here for a bit. Was tidying mess from dinner, sorting washing and unpacking groceries. Fed up of chores now so watching America's Next Top Model whilst MNing.

That is lovely tictac .

My washing's still on dryer, as I only loaded the machine late this afternoon! And I'm sitting surrounded by toys!
csws; do you want me to email some of the pics Hub took? I'd seriously get him to take some of Pippa for you.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2006 21:12

Ooh yes please, or stick them on photobox and send me a link .

mustrunmore · 20/11/2006 21:14

Give me a few mins and they'll be on my picturetrail/newminimalistme
If no one wakes up and cries

dewmeadow · 20/11/2006 21:21

im here now,but only for a catch up before I go and vegetate in front of teh box. VERY long day, and just finished a piano lesson with a wee girl doing Grade 6 who is a lazy bitch and could totally get a really good mark buit is just cramming!! Exam tomorrow...

DS is big time teething again, especially at night. DH said last night that he wasnt just being a bad wee bastard, he was actually in a lot of pain!! Aw - daddy love!! WE reckon his night time suckying on his cow is causing big stabbing pains in his gums.

Still up the duff....

Away to find the rugby thread from last winter!

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2006 21:27

OMG - Wow mrm!

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 20/11/2006 21:30

Arent they lovely?! Have another look, as I've only just put them on, so you may have missed some!! I love Hub forever

dont blame sucky cow for things, poor creature

mustrunmore · 20/11/2006 21:31

I like the one of ds2 on the tree stump; its his facial expression!

dewmeadow · 20/11/2006 21:32

cant find rugby threads...strange...where can they be?

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2006 21:35

It is a great expression, but I love the ones of ds1 behind/hugging the tree, and the close up of him with his hand in his mouth.

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 20/11/2006 21:37

not so cute once you know that the hand is in the mouth because it was cramming a sausage in
The tree hugging is good though.

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2006 21:43

Not a sausage roll then .

OP posts:
Frizbe · 20/11/2006 21:49

eyedrops will read the thread now! but if any of you have any ideas about mine?

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2006 21:51

Sounds odd Frizbe - you didn't get any on your fingers and then put them in your mouth did you?

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 20/11/2006 21:52

Frizbe, I could be really unsympathetic and come up with all sorts of witty responses
But maybe its just like how everything is connected; you know how you can smell, and know what something tastes like, for example? i'm not being very helpful, am I?...

csws, I'll have you know it was a very posh Waitrose sausage Dont allow sausage rolls on the move incase he messes up the p&t and lowers the resale value

CantSleepWontSleep · 20/11/2006 21:52

Flame - have you spotted the second post on this thread?
